Loads of Sand From The

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested getting loads of sand from the cemetery. Because I got four loads and mixed it with potting soil it was enough to make an old dresser drawer into a raised garden.

I am grateful for the warm weather. The seeds are sprouting in the sun room.

I am grateful to The Holy Spirit’s suggestion on making Snowball’s meals. He has not been constipated for a week.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested moving some stuff around the outside of the garage. Now when the cleaner or PSW comes I can get out with the scooter while their vehicle is parked in the driveway.

After a Few Rubs

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested gently rubbing Snowball’s head early this morning because he was walking around very agitated. After a few rubs he snuggled up with me in bed and went right to sleep.

I am grateful Jezebel did not lose an eye this morning. Because she was abusive to Little Smokey he does not allow her to get close to him. This morning she tried to get close to him and her clawed her face just missing her eye. Stupid people win stupid prizes. She of course blames Little Smokey and threatened to throw him outside. I told her if she did that I would call the humane society and have her charged with cruelty to animals. He is very lovey dovey to me. Sometimes he will growl at me because he wants to be left alone and I leave him alone. No problems.

I am grateful that a dollar store had headphones. Mine broke and most stores wanted around fifty dollars for a pair I got at a dollar store for five dollars. I need them to drown out the annoying screeches of the cardinals when working outside.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested laying an old carpet around the air conditioner outside to keep the weeds out.

Is Having Regular

I am grateful Snowball is having regular bowel and urinary movements again

I am grateful the Lord has blessed me that the broccoli, cauliflower and peas are coming up good in the raised gardens. The potatoes are a little behind but that is okay

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to sow the lavender, basil, clover and chamomile tea in the garden. I planted two rows of potatoes amongst them

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to sow the flower seeds in the greenhouses ( tents with tarps over them ).

I am grateful the vegetables and herbs are coming up in the sun room

Do you have a Sense of God’s Presence?

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith . . .” (Ephesians 3:17).

A good friend asked me, “Do you feel you are adequately experiencing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit?” That is a probing question every Christian should pause and consider.

I firmly believe that every born again believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but not every believer is yielded to His control. Our experience of His divine presence depends upon our yielding to Him moment by moment. If the Holy Spirit is to have a larger part of our lives we must make a deliberate choice and allow Him to take control.

The Spirit wants to fill our lives so that Christ may settle down and make Himself feel completely at home as a permanent resident in our hearts (Eph. 3:17). Our prayer should be that Christ would settle down, even now, in our hearts and take control as the rightful owner.

Imagine what it would be like to experience the “fullness of God” (v. 19). Paul was praying that we may be filled up to or unto all the fullness that is in God Himself. That will not take place until we stand complete and perfect in the likeness of Christ at His coming, but it can be our prayer and vision now. Paul was praying that we would be filled and filled and filled and filled forever, as God out of His infinite resources increasingly pours Himself into His redeemed people.

David Brainerd wrote in his diary April 21, 1742, “O My sweet Savior! Who have I but Thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.” Then he added, “If I had a thousand lives, my soul would gladly have laid them all down at once, to have been with Christ. My soul never enjoyed so much of heaven before; it was the most refined and most spiritual season of communion with God I ever yet felt.”

Oh, for a mature, intimate love relationship with Christ. The Holy Spirit always points us to Him and in that a felt presence and power that is wholly beyond man.

It is from that inner resource of “the riches of His glory” that we are “strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man so that Christ may dwell in your hearts and through faith. . .” (3:16-17).

The filling and control of our lives by the Holy Spirit is not automatic. We are baptized once when we believed on Christ as our savior, but filled many times. It is a deliberate choice we make each day. This empowering presence of the Holy Spirit within us enables us to live an abundant spiritual life.

“Do you feel you are adequately experiencing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit?” Why did you respond that way?

When He is in control, our minds are set on the things above (Rom. 8:5).

Do you have a richer, fuller desire to know the Lord Jesus Christ and fellowship with Him? That is the work of the Holy Spirit in your heart.

Who is in control of your life? Have you made a conscious deliberate choice to let the Holy Spirit be in charge of your life? Is He a dynamic, shaping, controlling presence in your life today? How can He become an ever-present reality in your daily life?

Will you make a conscious decision to let Jesus Christ rule your life from this day onward? From that moment on begin each day with a solemn commitment to let Him take control of your life through out the day.

“Lord Jesus I give this day to you. I make myself available to you to live Your life in and through me. Take these hands and feet, this tongue and these eyes, and let them express a heart full of Thee. Here, come live in and through me this day. I yield myself to You.”Selah!

It Shall be Planted With

I am grateful for the great weather. It was cool so a good portion of the one back garden was hand tilled with a twissler. Tomorrow, by Jehovah’s grace, it shall be planted with potatoes, lavender, clover, basil and chamomile. The rhubarb is coming along great but some manure was mixed in with it.

I am grateful Snowball is feeling better and has his appetite back.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to spend cuddle time with Smokey while Jezebel was playing Christian at church.

Snowball Had His First

I am grateful Jehovah blessed me that Snowball had his first pee and poo in three days.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested changing certain things in Snowballs diet. I failed to remember all the additives in store bought chicken broth. These were preventing Snowball from peeing.

I ever so am grateful The Holy Spirit guided me to articles and Bible Verses to calm me down. I was getting very angry because Jezebel refuses to listen to advice and then always blames me when things go south.

Here is one of them: But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. 1 John 4:4

So, The Holy Spirit in me is greater that Satan who dwells in her.

And this one: But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception. 1 John 4:6

I am grateful the security officer at the grocery store was a good runner. I left the store while leaving a box I put my key for the scooter and wallet in at the check out. The young lady gave it to him and he ran almost a block down the road to catch me and give it back.

For Ever and Ever

A Reward for The

I am grateful The Holy Spirit guided me to make a recipe for Snowball’s constipation. He seems to go every other day but I think it is healthier for him to go every day. Today was the third day and he went. I pray he goes every day.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to spend cuddle time with Little Smokey when Jezebel is out. He loves it.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to pick some cat nip leaves for a reward for the boys for being so good when it is time to trim their claws.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to trim the boys claws. If they are not, they curl into the paw and then there is an operation which would be painful.

I am grateful for the rain this morning and that it stopped when it was time for Jezebel to go out.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to set up the tents for a portable green house. At night a tarp is place over them to keep the frost out.
