We are bombarded with feel good stories on the TV news of giving to help the poor, giving to help those with sicknesses and disease.
BUT, what is at the heart of the giver?
Do they genuinely give because of their concern or do they give to feel good and to be prideful on social media look at me, look at me. Or to brag to friends, family and co-workers? Do they participate to be a part of the crowd or because they are peer pressured to give?
Yes the Lord loves a cheerful giver BUT, we must first take it to Him in prayer where to give, how much to give and when to give. Then, we will be giving to please the Lord which is the only reason any Christian should give.
Give joyfully and thankfully to the Lord in abundance as a sacrifice of love and appreciation as He has given in abundance sometimes with great cost (like the cross) to you.
Give, but give to bring glory to Christ not to self Joseph a son of Jehovah
Why do you give?

This is for the worry worts.
You know they type, if there isn’t a crisis in their life, they will make one.
Why do you waste your time, effort and health on such frivolous things?
Not me, I give it all away.
Give it all away to Jesus that is. If you claim to be a Christian that is what you are supposed to do. Give all your troubles to Jehovah. Believe in Him. Believe He will soothe all your frets and provide a solution to you.
After all He took care of an entire nation, feeding them and caring for them, for forty years in the dessert, we are of course talking about the Israelite’s in the Exodus. And, they numbered over two million. If He can do that, what is your problem compared to that.
Worry is an insult to Jehovah. Joseph a son of Jehovah
Pray a sincere prayer and read your Bible.
Sometimes you may have to wait for your solution. How long did Abraham wait for the birth of Isaac. You cannot rush God; He works on His time, not yours.
Another thing, God is all wise. His answer may not be what you want, but is always in your best interest. He knows much more than you.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him Romans 8:28 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation.
So, when you finally receive your answer, don’t sit on your hands, take action. It is a partnership. He will supply the solution to your problem and the tools necessary to resolve the situation. BUT, YOU must take the action needed for resolution. It is teamwork.
And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.” 2 Corinthians 1:10 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation
So, what are you waiting for?
Do it now. Open up your heart and pour all your worry upon Him. He is waiting to hear from you.

This verse should be the greatest comforter, encourager and strengthener in every Christian life when going through trials and tribulations, sorrow and snare.
“How can you say that?” you may ask.
Think about it.
When we are going through a job loss and we do not know where the money is going to come in to pay the bills and it seems as if God is no where to be seen. That is a good thing. It may not seem like it at the time but through this process you will: A: learn to pray sincerely and deeply like you never have before. In this process you draw closer to Jehovah, which is His purpose. And that is a good thing.
B: it will teach you to depend upon Him instead of yourself or your company or anything else that will fail you. And that is a good thing.
C: this will teach you to love, respect and adore our heavenly Father. And that is a good thing.
The same thing will occur in every avenue of your life if you are a Christian.
Through your hard times you will learn to depend upon Jehovahs unending resources, appreciate Him more and draw every deeper into a Divine loving relationship with Him.
And that is a good thing.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Jireh (God is our Provider) for providing me with Your divine wisdom, providence and assurance in every aspect of my life. The best part of this blessing is in developing an amazing loving relationship with you. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” Job 2:10 Holy Bible, New King James Version Sorry to bust the bubble of those who believe Jesus is a genie who only live to give us our hearts desires but when you are a true Christian expect to experience a lot of adversity in your walk to Heaven. “Persecution for righteousness’ sake is what every child of God must expect.” Charles Simeon That however is a blessing not a curse. You see in my life this is the pattern that has been with me since my walk to Heaven began: The closer you get to Jehovah the more satan is going to torment you and persecute you in the belief that you will be weak and the suffering too strong and give up your walk with Christ. That is partly true. We are weaker than satan but nothing or no one is stronger that Christ. So when persecution and hard times come it drives a Christian to our knees in prayer to Christ. He will abundantly supply us with the power to overcome. That in turn creates a heart that overflows with love and respect for Jesus which draws us closer to Him. The closer we get to Christ the more we are going to suffer. The more we suffer, the closer we get to Christ. Who are you going to listen to a child or a wise man? I always go with the wise man. Who is wiser than the Holy Spirit?
None that I know of, than why would you go to a flawed human for advice when you can get the perfect advice from the Holy Spirit. That is an insult to Jehovah. Now you can pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you to a Godly councillor.
If you are going to build a house and know nothing about it are you going to do it on your own or seek wise counsel? Than why do you not include Jehovah in your plans?

Do you than wonder why so many of your plans fail? And, when they do, why do you blame Jehovah?
I do not know about you but I always include Jehovah in my plans because I want them to succeed and because I love Him I do not want to hurt His feelings. As well, I have both seen and experienced Jehovah wrath and it is not to be taken lightly.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for blessing me with walking with me and guiding me by Your gentle, firm loving hand through the trails You desire for me to travel and the chores You have designated for me to fulfill on my walk to Your Heavenly home. When we are Christians there is no shortage of tormentors who love to intentionally antagonize us. They are constant thorns in our sides serving their god, Satan. They laugh and foolishly believe they are getting away with it. For a while it seems as if they are but then Jehovah strikes suddenly and terribly. I have seen it numerous times. When we go to bed and pray to our Beloved about the unwarranted affliction our persecutors are throwing our way He not only hears us but blesses us with peace and a good nights sleep (which antagonizer rarely experience). This is what always happens to me.
Be not afraid of them for they are this way because they are living a miserable life and want to drag everybody they can into that miserable lifestyle with them.
I pray for them and inform them of such. That torments them. I do not do it to torment them but to reconcile with them if possible (and most times it is not because of their disposition). They end up leaving me alone.
Beware, Jehovah does not take kindly to those who abuse His children and how great your suffering will be. Joseph- Anthony: Green

For those of you who doubt if the Holy Spirit dwells within the Christian here is the proof. The Spirit of God dwells in you. That is not a maybe but a direct promise and Jehovah always fulfills His promises.
Therefore all Christians have the Holy Spirit with in us.
What does the Spirit do in our lives?
He conquers our addictions which we are too weak to defend ourselves from.
For me it was stubbornness.
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. Romans 8:26 New King James Version
Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 New King James Version
The Holy Spirit with in us guides us to what is the right way to live. There have been too many times when I was in doubt about certain circumstances but the Holy Spirit lead me to make the correct ones which prevented a lot of grief.
The reward for this is peace in our lives and joy in our loving relationship with the Trinity. There are so many times in my prayers that I am so filled with spiritual joy it feels as if every molecule in my body wants to scream out:” I love You my Holy Father, I love You.”
The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 New King James Version
There have been so many times in my trials and tribulations I wanted to quit but was empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue on the victory.
That you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 New King James Version
The Holy Spirit teaches us about Jehovah which leaves us in awe, respect and a deeper love for Him.
These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Corinthians 2:13 New King James Version
The reward for this is a stronger loving bond with Him.
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.1 Corinthians 6:17 New King James Version
And finally, He is the best remodeler there can ever be. Looking back I am amazed at how much He was destroyed the old pot of clay and remolded me into a completely opposite creature. Every one of those fruits are in an abundance in my live.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Galatians 5:22 New King James Version
Now do not expect all of these to occur when you accept in your heart Jesus Christ as your Savior. Some may take years, some may take decades (for me some took twenty years). We go on Jehovahs time not ours. Speaking from experience although a lot of it has been very difficult I humbly thank my Beloved every day for the amazing work over He has accomplished in this lumpy clay. And the thing is, the process continues all of our lives.
The Christian walk is one of constant learning and remolding of our spirits. It does not happen over night, it happens over a lifetime. Joseph- Anthony: Green

The right way, the only way. Rely on Him not you.
Before I make any decisions I always try to follow a Jewish tradition. That is, to wait three days before making and decisions and pray and read the Bible.
One time a really nice contract was offered to me. I wanted it bad but was told to decide right then and there. I chose to walk away because not being offered the chance to wait and pray. It was crushing. Another teacher laughed and took the contract. For three months he was laughing at me and bragging about how good the contract was. Then, the company started demanding more and more from him and began cheating him worse and worse on his wages (a common occurrence here). He begged me to find some way he could get out of the contract to no avail.
There was a so called Christian preacher that I really liked and wanted to have a friendship with him. Then he started asking personal questions I felt uncomfortable with and decided to wait and pray before sharing this information with him. The answer was to avoid him like the plague which was very difficult as he seemed like such a cool guy. Turns out he was a charlatan and only wanted the information to control and domineer me like he was doing to some others.
We see a little, God sees the complete picture. That is why it is of the utmost importance to always wait and pray and read your Bible, then to obey. It will be hard but from my experience it has resulted in a LOT less grief and trouble.
It is like someone wants to sell you a gold mine but really it is just a swamp. The seller may show you little gold flakes and claim he is too old to mine it anymore but is doing you a favour. Instead of going and asking the local mayor who knows everything and is honest and would inform you the cretin is really a snake oil salesman, you rashly and foolishly buy the mine. You end up with a swamp while the snake ends up with all your money.
Giving it all to Christ is the best and smartest move of your life. Joseph- Anthony: Green
