They are Calling Jehovah Wicked.

Differing weights [one for buying and another for selling] and differing measures, Both of them are detestable and offensive to the Lord. Proverbs 20:10 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable and offensive [to the Lord]. How much more [unacceptable and insulting can it be] when he brings it with evil intention? Proverbs 21:27 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Detestable means arousing or meriting intense dislike in the dictionary.

So many times I hear preachers and others say that the thing we hate the most is the thing in which we ourselves do as well.

In the Christian perspective they are dead wrong.

As you can see from these verses Jehovah hates these things so if , by their reasoning, Jehovah hates these things that must mean He practices these things. That means He is not Holy and prefect.

The more in love you are with another the more your disposition becomes like them and you desire to emulate them. Watch a child try to emulate their father or mother for proof.

It only stands to reason then that what Jehovah hates we hate.

I hate liars, the proud, the thieves, the instigators and mean spirited.

That does not mean I want to kill them, indeed it brings great sorrow to see their lifestyle because it only brings them depression, loneliness, sorrow and pain but that does not mean I excuse it nor tolerate it. When I try to teach them about Christ and they turn their back on Him (it is Christ they are rejecting not you) that is an insult and I turn my back on them. It is a sad thing to do but it is necessary because they are a waste of time and energy.

I pray Jehovah leads me to receptive ones and move on.

These six things the Lord hates; Indeed, seven are repulsive to Him: A proud look [the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others], a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that creates wicked plans, Feet that run swiftly to evil, A false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths], And one who spreads discord (rumours) among brothers. Proverbs 6:16-19The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is also a misconception that Jehovah hates the sin but loves the sinner.

That is a flat out lie.

He hates the wicked that refuse to follow His guidance and openly rebel against Him with a holy hate.

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) bless me to hate what You hate in a holy manner so as to not allow what is wicked to be tolerated nor welcome in my life. I sincerely request this in the name of the Holy of Holies whom shall judge and reward the wicked according to their evil deeds Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Heaven is Full Of.

The reward of humility [that is, having a realistic view of one’s importance] and the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord Is riches, honour, and life. Proverbs 22:4 Holy Bible Amplified Version

“Humility is described in the dictionary as: the absence of any feelings of being better than others or lower than others and reverence is profound adoring awed respect

Only the humble can approach Jehovah’s holy throne because they know that they are not greater than Him. They know they need to depend upon Him and be respectful and obedient towards Him.

In return Jehovah blesses them with spiritual riches beyond imagination and nothing can compare to them, especially the Divine love Jehovah bountifully blesses them with every day.

We worship Jehovah because of His numerous blessings of love, joy, peace, comfort, strength and protection He daily blesses us with as well as His amazing friendship.

Honour is described as faithfulness to high moral standards and no one has as high a moral standard as Jehovah. This is a blessing because we avoid many destructive lifestyle choices that only bring ruin, pain and shame to those who live a dishonourable life. It is also described as an asset that brings praise.

Angles shall greet those of Godly honour with songs of praise as they enter into Heavens gate.

And finally it is something given in recognition of achievement and Christ shall honour us with a crown upon our heads when He greets us in Heaven.

Heaven is full of the humble, Hell is full of proud. Joseph a son of Jehovah

“Humility is the Christian’s greatest honour; the higher men climb, the farther they are from heaven.” Burder

Of course the life is not just an eternal one in Heaven but also one of great oneness of walking daily in communion with Christ which is the greatest life of all.

Prayer: Thank you Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with the Divine wisdom You have bestowed upon me to be a humble honourable child of my Beloved Father in Heaven. I exalt You in the name of His most honorable, humble child Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

A Servant’s Heart.

I am Your servant; give me understanding [the ability to learn and a teachable heart] Psalm 119:125 Holy Bible Amplified Version

The wise servant knows what is expected of him or her by the King.

The only way to achieve this is by discernment and the only way to attain that is listening to the Kings instructions. Just as an earthly king will have various and different duties for the servant each day so too does our Heavenly King. That is why we must ask Him every day to provide us with the proper instructions throughout the day.

There is a manner of conduct that is required of the Kings servant and the only manner in which the servant can know this and incorporate it into his daily life is with instruction and daily practice from the King.

It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the bond servant like his master. Matthew 10:25 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We always emulate that which we admire.

So many imitate their favourite musician by talking like they do, dressing like they do and behaving like they do (God help us with the role models in the music, TV and movie industry today).

So too must we Christians emulate our Heavenly Master as His bond servants.

Bond servants are those who serve another of their own free will. That is the only way to become a servant of Christ is by our own free will. He is too gracious to force anything on us.

The more we serve and emulate Him in our daily life the more it will be ingrained into our subconscious to serve Him and behave like Him in an appropriate manner which is pleasing unto Him without even thinking about it.

“The true character of ministry is a servant’s heart.” Author Unknown

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) for the awesome privilege of being Your humble obedient servant. I extol Thee in the name of the King of Kings Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

The Champion Worry Wort.

“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I used to be the World Champion Worry Wort. You name it and I would worry about it. I swear I used to worry about if I did not fart during the day (really). It caused endless sleepless nights. It is surprising I did not have ulcers or a heart attack. The stress meter would be on overload.

As my walk with Christ slowly matured more and more was put into His capable hands, starting off small and gradually enlarging as the walk with Him became more and more secure more and more was surrendered to Him. The end result was a good nights sleep ( which is enjoyed almost every night now).

There is more and more serenity in uncertain circumstances.

There now is amazing physical, mental and spiritual health.

Now there are times when there are uncertain circumstances and or situations that arise that is completely out of my control and a panic attack begins. That is when I sprint for a Bible, a quiet place to be with my Beloved and allow Him to comfort and assure me that every thing is under control. The stress meter goes dead and the worry melts away.

“Never dwell on the tomorrow; remember, that it’s God’s and not ours.” Edward B. Pusey

Prayer: Oh a deep heartfelt Thank you my cherished Jehovah Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) for blessing me with peace in every aspect of my life because I know You love me, You care, You help me and guide my steps. You are always there through all my difficulties and sorrows. You are the greatest. I praise You in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

He was Arrogant.

For when Jezebel destroyed the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave, and provided them with bread and water. 1 Kings 18:4 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone remain a prophet of the Lord, while Baal’s prophets are 450 men. 1 Kings 18:22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Even though Elijah was informed that a thousand prophets had been rescued from the bloody wicked hand of Jezebel here he was standing in front of the whole nation telling a blatant lie that he was the only prophet of Israel.

He was arrogant.

He paid the price by being made humble and afraid of a wicked queen.

So too it is with us. When we Christians become arrogant in our Christian walk ( and we all do from time to time) Jehovah will arrange something to happen to knock us off of our high horses.

The higher the horse the harder the fall. Unknown

That does not mean He is angry with us but rather that He is disciplining us like any good father or mother would a child they love.

Prayer: Please Holy Spirit Ezer (The LORD our Helper) bless me that You always keep my heart humble so as to be a shining light in a dark world. I humbly request this in the name of the most humble of them all Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

With the Strength Of.

So he got up and ate and drank, and with the strength of that food he travelled forty days and nights to Horeb (Sinai), the mountain of God. 1 Kings 19:8 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Before Jehovah sends us to where He has something important to share with us He knows we need to be nourished. Most times it will not be physical nourishment but spiritual and mental.

From personal experience it can be a couple of hours or days or months and in some instances it took years. Jehovah is in no hurry and knows what you need to be ready to hear what He desires to share with you. The amount of time it takes depends upon you. It is important so He is in no hurry.

Notice that it was Mount Sinai which is the same place Moses received the Ten Commandments.

So yes where Jehovah is sending you is someplace quiet and isolated where there will be no interruption. He needs you to be in communion with Him because He has something important to discuss with you.

For me it was deep in the forest in a very isolated place. And yes, it was very important what we discussed. It could not have happened any other place that that isolated area. The amount of time spent in that place was three months.

That may not happen to you but you can be assured it will be in an isolated place and it is important what He has to say to you.

We need to go on Gods time not our own. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ezer (The LORD our Helper) for blessing me with Your Divine help to be prepared for the time in which You chose to speak important matters to me in Your Holy place. I exalt Thee in the name of He who had the strength to go to the cross for me Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Jehovah Will Take You to a Place.

So He said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord was passing by, and a great and powerful wind was tearing out the mountains and breaking the rocks in pieces before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind, [there was] an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake, [there was] a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire, [there was] the sound of a gentle blowing. When Elijah heard the sound, he wrapped his face in his mantle (cloak) and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a soft voice came to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts (armies), because the sons of Israel have abandoned (broken) Your covenant, torn down Your altars and killed Your prophets with the sword. And I, only I, am left; and they seek to take away my life.” 1 Kings 19:11-14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Mount Horeb was also called Mount Zion which is where Moses spoke with Jehovah.

Jehovah will take you to a place where there is no distraction.

Elijah was sheltered from Jehovahs destructive power and then Jehovah spoke with him in a soft gentle voice.

When Jehovah desires to speak with you it will not be yelling and screaming but in a soft gentle voice.

Jehovah knew why Elijah was there just as He knew why Adam and Eve were hiding from Him. He wanted Elijah to pour out his frustrations and pity party to Him. He wants you to do the same with Him. He will not pamper you nor scold you. He will remind you of all the blessing He has given you and will strengthen and encourage you.

At least that is what happens with me. He always guides me to a quiet place in nature and we can spend hours going through verse after verse through the Bible, sometimes for hours, sometimes for days on end until His point is made. By the completion I am left being at peace, strengthened, joyous and appreciative of all my Beloved has done for me, is doing for me and will be doing for me.

Elijah was arrogant in believing he was the only prophet left even though he was told otherwise earlier. He was taking credit for what Jehovah did with alter and prophets of Baal. He had no faith in Jehovah’s protective power.

How many times has Jehovah done amazing things threw us and folks give us the credit? We do not correct them but bask in the glory and indeed feel ashamed to give Jehovah the glory because we feel we will be laughed at by the crowd.

How many times after a great victory do we experience a great crash? We run in fear as if the amazing accomplishment Jehovah has just done through us never occurred and we have zero faith in Him. It has happened to me many times. Afterwards there is a lot of shame.

But, when we repent Jehovah is quick to forgive us.

That does not give us carte blanch to continue to do this though, we must grow in our faith.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) bless me to correct me when I become arrogant and thank you for being patient and comforting with me when I have a pity party. Thank you for Your gentle voice of encouragement, wisdom and strength and guidance in all of my life. I exalt You in the name of the most respectful King which I always try to emulate Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

The First Two were Arrogant.

Then the king sent to Elijah a captain of fifty with his fifty [fighting men to seize the prophet]. And he went up to him, and behold, he was sitting on the top of a hill. And the captain said to him, “Man of God, the king says, ‘Come down.’” Elijah replied to the captain of fifty, “So if I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty [fighting men].” Then fire fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. So King Ahaziah again sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty [fighting men]. And he said to him, “Man of God, thus says the king, ‘Come down quickly.’” Elijah answered them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty [fighting men].” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. 2 Kings 1:9-13 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The first two were arrogant with a man they knew was a man from Jehovah. They were disrespectful. They were not asking respectfully of the man of Jehovah but were arrogantly demanding. They paid the price.

I have found that those who bully one of Jehovahs children pay a very dear price (it is not fire from Heaven but it is severe none the less).

So Ahaziah again sent a captain of a third fifty with his fifty [fighting men]. And the third captain of fifty went up and came bowed down on his knees before Elijah, and begged him [for compassion] and said to him, “O man of God, please let my life and the lives of your servants, these fifty, be precious in your sight. Behold, fire came down from heaven and consumed the first two captains of fifty with their fifties; but now let my life be precious in your sight.” The angel of the Lord said to Elijah, “Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So he stood and went down with him to the king. 2 Kings 1:14-15 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The last man was respectful and humble and did not suffer the same fate as the previous two.

I have found that when one is respectful towards one of Jehovah children they are blessed, even if they are not of His family. Be respectful unto everyone but especially a child of Jehovah or you will pay a very heavy price.

Be respectful unto all, but especially those of Jehovahs family. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) bless me to never be disrespectful towards anyone, especially one of Your servants. I humbly request this in the name of my most respectful King Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Was Disgusted with Him.

Elisha said, “As the Lord of hosts (armies) lives, before whom I stand, were it not that I have regard for Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you nor see you [king of Israel].2 Kings 3:14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The king of Israel knew Jehovah’s laws and ordinances yet refused to obey them. He openly worshiped that which disgusted Jehovah. When he came to inquire of a man he knew was a prophet of Jehovah the prophet was disgusted with him and refused to even knowledge him.

So too it is to be with us who are of Christ’s family when we meet a wolf in sheep’s clothing that openly defies Christ’s commands and blatantly follows the wicked ones way of life. Even Jesus says that we are to abstain all contact with them.

This is because if we have contact with them they may influence us and draw us away from Christ.

The closer we get to Christ the more we become like Him. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

Another thing is that because we are close with Christ what disgusts Him disgusts us. So, just as these wolves in sheeps clothing disgust Christ so too do they disgust us.

Now if they repent they are to we welcomed back into the brotherhood and sisterhood of saints.

Prayer: Thank You Jehovah Abba (God our Father) for blessing me to walk away from those who reject You and to be disgusted with their behaviour just as You are and to not even acknowledge them less they steer me away from You. I praise You in the name of He who was disgusted with the scribes and pharisee’s for their hypocrisy Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

I would Not Look at You.

Elisha said, “As the Lord of hosts (armies) lives, before whom I stand, were it not that I have regard for Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you nor see you [king of Israel]. 2 Kings 3:14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Sometimes it is because of the righteous that the wicked are not punished (at that moment) but they will be punished in Jehovah’s way and in Him time.

Notice that it is because the king of Judah was an obedient servant of Jehovah that the Holy man spoke.

Many times the wicked will receive guidance from the righteous because of their association with a righteous man or woman. They come for advice because of what they want to hear not what they need to hear. When what they need to hear is told to them they hate the messenger and will stubbornly refuse the Godly advice given unto them. The whole meeting is a waste of their time and the man or woman of Gods time. Because they refuse to listen to the Godly advice they meet their doom.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) for blessing me with softly speaking to my heart not to waste my times with the wicked ones who blatantly reject you and walk in the path of wickedness. It saves me so much frustration and sorrow. I extol Thee in the name of He who walks away from those who refuse to open the door of their hearts when He comes a knocking Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
