Have you ever seen paintings of slaves being led in chains.
That is what sin is and destructive addiction.
When we accept Christ as our Savior, He smashes the chains of slavery.
Now that does not mean we can go out and do what ever we want, that will just lead us back into the chains of slavery again.
What it means is that now we are free will servants of Christ. What ever Jesus asks us to do is either for our own good or for the good of others.
Not all chains will be smashed right away.
That would be too much freedom for us to handle.
Some chain may take decades to be smashed and some never be until we reach Heavens Gate.
That is good though as it keeps us dependent on Christ. The more He frees us, the more we love Him. The more we love Him the more we desire to serve Him.
Jesus is the best freedom fighter there is. He always has 100% victory. Joseph a son of Jehovah

When we repent we and we are turning back to loving and be obedient unto the Lord, we are saved.
Saved from what?
Well for one thing we are saved from making stupid choices that only leads to heartache, suffering mentally, physically and emotionally.
We are saved from suffering from insomnia.
We are saved from addictions which are cruel masters which enslave us and cause terrible pain both mentally and physically.
I have both seen it and experienced it so do testify of the truth of these words.
We are of course saved from the most horrible affliction of all: an eternity in Hell.
Going your own way leads to Hell. Going Christ’s way leads to Heaven. Be careful of your choices because you will be receiving the consequences of them for an eternity. Joseph a son of Jehovah

It is amazing that most folks suffer from insomnia.
Yeah, I used to be one of them.
Then, I was enlightened to the simple yet effective way to the best sleep I have ever had.
When suffering insomnia it is because I always have a problem. The problem is laid out at the feet of Jesus. Usually it is difficult to lay it completely at His feet because He gently lulls me to sleep with a warm blanket of love and assurance He will help solve the problem. There is safety and confidence in my most trusted best friend.
It works for me, why not give it a try?
For the best nights sleep, sleep in the gentle loving arms of Jesus. Joseph a son of Jehovah

These liars have lied so well and for so long that they’ve lost their capacity for truth. 1 Timothy 4:2 The Holy Bible, The Message
Boy do I know this to be true.
I know quite a few folks that in their younger years would occasionally lie like a rug to get what they want or to refuse to accept responsibility for doing wrong or to get out of doing their fair share of work.
“Maturity is not based on age, but on the willingness to accept responsibility.” Dr. Edwin Louis Cole
Now that they are old they cannot tell a complete sentence without lying. They are so arrogant they think they are smart but really they look just plain stupid.
As a result they are left friendless and miserable.
The sad thing is that because their minds are so perverted they reject the truth as lies and accept nothing but lies from others.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Emeth (Psalms 31:5) LORD GOD of Truth for blessing me with the truth and putting that application into my life. Many times it is difficult but in the long run it makes my life so much more fulfilling. I exalt You in the name of He who spoke nothing but the truth, Jesus Christ. Amen

When Jehovah has spoken to You and has given you a promise, it is written it stone. It will happen and continue to happen as long as He has promised.
He made a promise to me many decades ago that He will never leave me nor desert me. There have been oh so numerous times when I felt as if He had deserted me but reflecting back I can now see His hand at the time working in unseen ways doing what was good for me – even if it certainly did not feel it at times.
Jehovahs word it true. Always hold it close to your mind and to your heart. Write His promise down not only on a piece of paper to keep with you when times are challenging but also most important on your heart Joseph a son of Jehovah

I have encountered too many Christians that are determined to save the world.
Yeah, and then what?
Well, then they say praise Jesus when someone accepts Christ as their Saviour and then walk away.
That is like asking Jehovah to bless you with a child and when the baby is born the parents walk away.
How are they going to learn to live like Christians if you are not prepared to mentor them?
How are they going to learn to serve their King if you do not teach them?
No, that is not someone elses job, you brought them to Christ, now you are to educate them. This is a huge commitment that is going to take a long time, effort and suffering on your behalf. If you are not prepared to make that commitment then just shut up. You do more damage than any good because the newbies are left hanging out to dry and walk away from Jesus feeling angry and bitter towards both Him and His followers.
Bringing one to Jesus is only half of the equation. You must also teach them about Jesus. You must teach them to conform to His will. Joseph a son of Jehovah
