Are You a Good Steward?

Be hospitable to one another without complaint. Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor].1 Peter 4:9-11 Holy Bible Amplified Version

In unions it is the steward that goes to management when there is a problem between one of its member’s and the company (at least it was when I was a union member.).

To be Gods steward we are to be helpers to Jehovah. We are to guide others to Jehovah and to observe the proper conduct in His Holy Family.

To do this Jehovah has equipped us with specific skills to accomplish this assignment. We need not go to seminary or university to attend these classes, the Holy Spirit knows us individually and has individual classes prepared for us so we will learn our gifts and how to use them correctly. When we are ready He will lead us to the proper place and time to utilize these skills to the best effect.

The problem is too many are neglecting their gifts and instead selfishly wasting their time on their own goals in life rather than being good stewards in Christs kingdom.

Are you a good steward?

Stewardship is the obedient management of life and all of its resources under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to bring glory unto Jehovah and to bring the lost into His Holy family. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) for the honor of being Your free will servant. May I humbly always be obedient unto Your Divine direction of the proper use of the resources Your give me to expand Your Kingdom of Light into the world of darkness. I sincerely request this in Your majestic name. Amen

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father. May you be blessed with plentiful opportunities to share these with those around you today.

Enter Fully Into that Difficult Existence

FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Spirit alone gives eternal life. John 6:63 New Living Translation Bible

There is no good going to a retreat and meditating on your belly button lint to get in touch with your inner self and then going back to everyday life. These week retreats are nothing more than a waste of money in my opinion. If you desire a spiritual life it must be a full time commitment to the Holy Spirit. You will not receive one from the Buddhists.

It will be a difficult existence because you are in a different world than those around you. You will be in tune with the voice of Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. To obey these three is complete nonsense to the world.

We have the Charity of God beat within us as it beats with in the heart of He who showed us what it looks like when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. That is we are called to suffer long (this means , we are kind; we envieth not, we are not puffed up, we seek not our own, we are  not easily provoked, we think no evil, we rejoice not in iniquity, but in the truth; we bear all things, believe all things, hope in all things, endure in all things.

“The spiritual life is a stern choice. It is not a consoling retreat from the difficulties of existence, but an invitation to enter fully into that difficult existence, and there apply the Charity of God, and bear the cost.” — Evelyn Underhill

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) for blessing me with the strength to not only endure but to prosper during the times of suffering for You as Your precious son suffered for me. I exalt You in the name of He who gladly suffered for me Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The Best Guidance Councillor

follow your ways

There Is One Who considers and understands all that they do. Psalms 33: 14-15 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Why go with the crowd when they do not know where they are going?

Why not submit to Jehovah and allow Him to nurture and grow you the way He made you to be unique, there is no one like you?

When you have problems, the first one you should go to is the one who understands you. Who understands you better that He who created you or some quack the needs some good counselling themselves?

When you need guidance in your life who better to go to some quack on TV or Jehovah, the wisest of them all?

What kind of guidance does the world give? Just put your mind to it and you can do anything you desire. Try flapping your arms and see if you can fly like a bird.

Jehovah says when you submit to Him He will guide you on the course He has set for your purpose in life.

Which one would you trust?

Jehovah is the best guidance Councillor there is bar none. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah El Deah (the God of knowledge) bless me with Your supreme knowledge so as to live a righteous life that is pleasing to You. I sincerely request this in the name of the wisest teacher of all Jesus Christ. Amen

Wishing you a house full of sunshine, hearts full of cheer and love that grows deeper each day of the year. Welsh blessing

I am Rich, I am Poor

CHRIST IN ME

But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today. Deuteronomy 8:11 New Living Translation Bible

I am rich, I am poor.

That pretty much sums up my life.

When the times were materially good my spiritual relationship with Jehovah was as cool as a corpse. The funny thing is though that even though I was living a life of comfort and ease there was something missing. I could not put my finger on it.

Then, when the good times came to an end and the material hard times came I found I was close to Jehovah spiritually.

From a lot of experience I greatly prefer the spiritual wealth over the material ones.

There is a saying that when the times are good the church is empty but when the times are hard the church is full.

Why wait for the hard times when you can be blessed with a daily close loving obedient relationship with Jehovah. Then when the hard times come, they are not so hard because of your closeness with Jehovah.

When we arrogantly turn our back on Jehovahs commands, decrees and regulations we pay a very severe price for it. Just read the history books of any country to confirm it.

I have found that this verse is oh so very true to be blessed with a contented, grateful life:

Give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. Proverbs 30:8 New Living Translation Bible

“We can stand affliction better than we can prosperity, for in prosperity we forget God.” Dwight L. Moody

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El SIMCHAH GIYL (God my Exceeding Joy) for the most wonderful of gifts and that is the never ending joy that comes from nurturing an eternal loving relationship with You. I revere You in the name of He who brings me ecstatic joy when in His wonderful presence Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be blessed with peace and joy every day.

Love Always Involves

complete deditacation

Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:11 New Living Translation Bible

Yes, as Christians we have a responsibility unto Jesus. He is our King and we are to serve Him.

Fearful in this context means being respectful. That means we are not to go before the King (in other words we are not to choose the type of service we offer to Christ but must be obedient unto His calling in life). We are not to sit on our hands and do nothing either. When the King calls we are to take responsibility and move where, when and how He asks us to. We are to take responsibility and do the work He has assigned for us to do.

I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to you; I will praise your name, O Lord, for it is good. Psalm 54:6 New Living Translation Bible

Yes, as Christians we are to give sacrifices unto Jehovah. That pleases Him.

No these sacrifices are not animals nor humans.

These are sacrifices of love, joy and gratitude.

Because Jehovah has blessed us we are to share the blessing with others and not hoard it. Our offering of the one tenth of everything is a sacrifice to Jehovah. That means not just money but if growing a garden the first one tenth is to be given to Jehovah. May I suggest you talk with a local church to share with the working poor, or the elderly that are on limited pensions or those that are sick or hurt and cannot work.

After seeing the lazy ungrateful welfare bums that go to food banks and soup kitchens I refuse to donate to them. That is a waste.

Sacrifice on tenth of your time. Again, go to a church and ask where they need help. It may be cutting the lawn or visiting someone in the hospital or seniors home.

“Love always involves responsibility, and love always involves sacrifice. And we do not really love Christ unless we are prepared to face His task and to take up His Cross.” — William Barclay

Prayer: It is an honour Jesus Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) to suffer my Beloved King for You as You have suffered for me. It brings greater appreciation for the sacrifice You made for me. I extol You in Your magnificent loving name. Amen

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.

To do Anything Else Is

And Abram believed the Lord , and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith. Genesis 15:6 New Living Translation

I believe we all have it in us to have faith like Abraham. It does not come overnight but through a lot of trial and error. Look at Abraham,he failed in his faith when he went to Egypt, He failed in his faith in having sex with his wives slave to get an heir. Yet, through it all he slowly learned to increase his faith.

So too is it with us.

Although we fail (and we all do) in our walk with Christ, we push on and grow stronger every day. Many of the things Jehovah asks us to do will be illogical to the world and to us but we are obedient and sometimes we will see the fruit of our faith in this life, sometimes we will have to wait until we are in our Heavenly home before we understand and see the fruition of our faith. But, as our walk continues we expand on our faith, love and trust in our loving, wise Heavenly Father. To do anything else is the most illogical thing we could ever do.

Being a Christian is illogical. Many times Jesus asks us to do or to not do things that sound absurd. But, that is where the seeds of faith take the deepest root, when we listen and obey. His ways are truly larger than ours. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL (God, the Most Able) for blessing me with constantly enlarging my faith in You as You continuously exhibit Your ability to be able to do things which are beyond my limited comprehension. I am in never ending awe of You. I revere You in the name of He who did astounding things when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Using these Effective Christian Weapons

Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life. Proverbs 21:21 New Living Translation

There was a comical saying in the seventies that said the devil made me do it, in reference to why we do bad things.

That is a lie.

The devil tempts us but it is in our own free will that knowingly, willingly commit the sin.

When temptation comes our way we should use the Christian weapons Jehovah supplies us with for victory.

Number one on the list is common sense. The number one rule is that if you are single, or married never be alone with anyone of the opposite sex (unless they are your husband or wife). You can be alone in the library or in a restaurant but never in a place where there is no one else there.

Number two is if Jesus would not be there neither should you be. So if your buddies are doing drugs or going to the bar to pick up babes (or hunks if they are women) do you think Jesus would join them for that activity?

Number three is to memorize victory verses so when the devil temps you like he did Jesus in the wilderness we, like Jesus use Bible verses to defeat our opponent. And yes that is very effective from personal experience.

Number four is to have a close relationship with Jehovah so that when the temptation is too strong for you, your first defence will be to call upon our mighty Heavenly Daddy who will come to our rescue. Again speaking from personal experience this is very effective. Using these effective Christian weapons will bring life to us that is close to our Heavenly Father and oh what a marvellous life that is.

“Only he who flings himself upward when the pull comes to drag him down, can hope to break the force of temptation. Temptation may be an invitation to hell, but much more is it an opportunity to reach heaven. At the moment of temptation, sin and righteousness are both very near the Christian; but, of the two, the latter is the nearer.” — Charles H. Brent

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chereb (Lord the is my Sword) for blessing me with the ultimate weapon to defeat satan and his minions with that is always victorious. I exalt You in the name of the unbeatable warrior King Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah
