The Wise Man Waits

We have the neighbours from Hell living beside us. Last year they ripped up a part of our garden then planted their own in it claiming it was no theirs. I think they are jealous because our garden is so beautiful and everyone comments on it They threw rubbish in our back yard. When I would bring friends to look at our garden in the back yard, they would yell and scream at us because (according to them ) we did not have the right to do that. If we did that our friends would see their marijuana and want to steal it (which they had no interest in). We could not trim our roses sharon bushes because then people would see their marijuana and want to steal it.

I prayed to the Lord for deliverance from these wicked creatures and for four months He told me to be brave and the battle was His.

This spring He directed me to have our land surveyed and install a camera so that if they came on our land this year they would be spending their summer behind bars for trespassing, destruction of private property, theft of private property and public nuisance .

They were told to clean up their mess our they would be sued (which they did).

We had to have our septic system cleaned and wanted to put in a new one (which we we informed was not necessary, the line just needed cleaned out). Then we were informed the neighbour put in a new one last year without a permit which would cost him around fifty thousand dollars if the county found out. They know we know about it.

I carry a camera with me so that if they yell and scream at me this year it will be filmed, given to a lawyer and they will be spending the summer in a psychiatric ward. So now they HAVE to behave themselves or else there will be severe consequences.

It is driving them nuts that they HAVE to behave themselves but it sure is a lot more peaceful on this side of the fence.

Each time the Lord reminded me of how He works bring peace to a destructive situation for us while punishing the war mongers.

What gets me is how they can go to church and she teaching children at Sunday School.

The wise man waits for the Lord for it is His fight that will lead to victory. All other paths lead to disaster. Joseph son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohe Yeshuathi (Psalms 88:1 LORD GOD of My Salvation ) for blessing me with Your awesome salvation from wicked beings that steal our land and peace. Thank you for providing the resources to to force the wicked to behave themselves. Thank you that this has brought so much joy to my life. Here is the Catch

 “See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you. Pay close attention to him, and obey his instructions. Do not rebel against him, for he is my representative, and he will not forgive your rebellion.  But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you. It is a good feeling that those who chose to be my enemies make themselves enemies of Jehovah. BUT, here is the catch, we must be obedient unto Him.

I believe the angel referred to in this instance is the Holy Spirit. Yes He is the best guidance councillor there is.

When we rebel against Him, He withdraws His protection and guidance. Woe be to the man or woman that puts themselves in that situation. I speak from a lot of personal experience. It only leads to trouble, agony, confusion and heartache. The beautiful thing is though, that when we repent He is quick to return to us.

We ignore the Holy Spirit at our own peril. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer:Thank you Jehovah Mekaddishkem (Exodus 31:13) – The LORD that Sanctifies me for blessing me with sending me The Holy Spirit to teach me and help me to be obedient unto all of Your wise instruction. I know You give this for my own good.                                                                                     He is the most awesome Teacher. He knows how to teach me so that I will understand.                               I remorsefully apologize for the times I am a rebellious student. I know it is not possible but I would love to be perfect so that I would never hurt Your treasured heart.                                                                        I exalt You in the name of the best Teacher ever, Jesus Christ. Yield and Submit.

 “Now yield and submit yourself to Him [agree with God and be conformed to His will] and be at peace; In this way [you will prosper and great] good will come to you. Job 22:21 Holy Bible Amplified Version

It takes the two. It takes the two parts in this verse before you are blessed.

Number one is to stop.

Stop being independent and stubborn. Jehovah cannot and will not ever attempt to help someone who refuses help. We must yield our will and wants and submit unto Him.

The next part is just as difficult.

To submit ourselves unto Jehovah means we are to give Him total control over our lives like a horse submits to the reins of its rider.

Once these two difficult tasks are completed then come the blessing. The blessing may be a physical blessing but there is always a spiritual blessing. The spiritual blessing of course is that there is a lot less stress in your life because you trust Jehovah has control of your life. The same can be said for worry. Instead your life is filled with peace, contentment and a knowledge of security knowing we have a superior being directing and helping us live a Divine life.

Leaving it in Jehovahs hands is the better choice. He knows what He is doing while we only think we know what we are doing. Joseph- Anthony: Green

What do I Care.

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe. Proverbs 29:25 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

Here are four very important words we all need to remember : “ What do I care. “

There are plenty of wolves ( those who like to prey upon the weak and tear them down ) both inside inside the church ( as a matter of fact , I have encountered more inside the church than outside ) and outside ( most of the ones I have met outside the church are the satanic politically correct whose idea of free speech and thought is that you are entitled to your opinion as long as it agrees with mine. If you disagree with mine your are intolerant , racist , homophobic or sexist ) .

When they attack you unfairly for standing up to for the Truth just reply : You are the intolerant one who refuses to listen to the truth. Therefore as pertaining to your “ opinion” “ What do I care. “ and just stand there and allow them to scream at you and look like fools. Either that or they will shut up and walk away.

When they try to gang up on you just ask the ring leader why they are afraid to debate with you one on one. I have used this quite successfully numerous times.

Indeed most times after the confrontation many folks come up to me and thank me for standing up for the Truth ( even if they are not Christians ).

The Lord is my light and my salvation— Whom shall I fear? Psalm 27:1 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

Then there are the ones that laugh at you because you do not follow them down the road of despair. They are in despair because they try to keep up with the Jones and the Jones keep on changing the rules. I dress as I feel comfortable and respectable.

When someone mocks me because I do not keep up with the “in crowd” I reason with them like why they “have to have “ the latest mobile phone when there is nothing wrong with the one they have now. It makes them look silly. The conversation is ended when they ask me what others think of me because I do not keep up with the crowd with “ What do I care. “ 

I then ask them if they are nurturing their spirit as much as they are big business’ wallet. They are informed that I care what Jesus believes in me not what the “ in crowd “ thinks of me. It is a great opportunity to open up a dialogue on the Christian walk.

I care not what my fellow man thinks of me, I care what my Heavenly King believes in me. Joseph- Anthony: Green

The Battle that Wasn’t.

One morning as soon as I woke up my head felt like it was going to explode in flames and my finger tips felt like they were going to explode. I knew this was a with drawl symptom of stopping smoking. There was a quite little voice that informed me not to reach for any niccorette gum, lozenges or the patch. I felt Jehovah telling me He was going to beat it.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. Romans 8:26 New King James Version Holy Bible

Now was decision time: 1 I could surrender to the craving and buy a pack. This would mean ultimate defeat.

2 I could trust Jehovah and obey His instructions.

I felt the Lord directing me to a quiet wood lot. Silly me, had the disbelief that it was going to be smack down time like in the phony wrestling some folks waste their time watching on TV. There was a fantasy of the devil pinning me to the mat and then my super hero Jesus climbing into the ring and giving he devil the what for and casing him away. The reality of it was I laid on a mat and was completely encompassed by peace and strength that could only be the gift of the Holy Spirit.

And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:48 New King James Version Holy Bible

Whenever the desire hits me I either reach for Rescue Remedy or the Bible.

The Bible and prayer works better.

In order to receive Jehovahs blessing it is a two part sequence. First you have to have firm faith and believe. Sometimes part of having faith is taking the first step.

Second Jehovah will then bless you. Now you may not receive your request coming to fulfillment because it is either ungodly or because it is not what Jehovah has planned for you.

There was once a prayer for revenge because of what was deemed a serious offense against me. That prayer was denied but instead the Lord blessed me years later seeing that what was done was nothing more that an unintentional misunderstanding.

For years I prayed to be blessed with a Godly woman to be my wife and for us to be blessed with children. That has never come to pass. It would have been impossible to serve my Heavenly King if I were married and had children.

It is impossible to be a Christian without faith. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Having faith is a lifetime of work. It is not a one time deal.

Each time your faith is rewarded your faith will grow but needs to continue to grow until we are walking the streets of Heaven.

Trust Jehovah with your life, His wisdom far surpasses ours. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Jireh (God is our Provider) bless me with providing me with them means to grow my faith in You. In so doing my Love I will also be blessed with drawing closer unto You. The difference between those in the world and those who belong to Christ is that we Christians have the strong hand of the Prince of Peace to walk us though our trials and tribulations while the world has no one and nothing. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Speaking from personal experience, I know both of these statements to be oh so very true. When I was not with Christ (He is always willing to be there for us if we allow Him to be) it seemed as if I was the only one in the universe and the worlds was crushing down upon my shoulder. When I did walk with Him not matter the trails and tribulations He blessed me with peace and strength to battle through them victoriously.

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Holy Bible, New King James Version

You can tell the size of your God by looking at the size of your worry list. The longer your list, the smaller your God. –Author Unknown

It is not a sin to worry about things but it is pretty stupid to refuse to lay them at the feet of the best comforter and reassurer there is. Joseph- Anthony: Green

From my experience when I humbly, sincerely take it to Jesus He blesses me with super natural peace every time. We all go through it don’t we?

We all go though those times when it seems as if there is no progress in our service unto Jehovah. We wonder if we are doing any good. Trust me from my experience we will be shocked when we get to Heaven how many are there because of the words or actions we took in this life. When I was a teacher in Asia I would live the Christian life and freely talk about walking the Christian walk when they curiously asked me why I was different from the other teachers. Most laughed at me and I wondered if I was getting through to any at all. It was very difficult. At the end of the semester there would always be a handful of students that quietly came to me and informed me that they accepted Jesus into their lives because of my example. Oh did my heart ever jump for joy. I often wonder how many accepted Jesus later on in life because of the seeds I sowed. We may not see the harvest of our planting in this life but please do not ever give up planting those seeds.

We also wonder what will happen to us as we age and have no money set aside for retirement because we have spent a lifetime in service to Christ.

I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken. Psalm 37:25 New King James Version

Now in my elder years this is my rock of hope that is my mantra. Folks ask me what is going to happen in a few years because I have no money set aside (The funny thing is that every time I saved a nice little nest egg something would come around and wipe it out. I believe Jehovah did this to keep me dependent upon Him instead of being dependent upon a retirement fund.) to depend upon in retirement.

I firmly believe in the saying: “What goes around will come around.”   Even stronger is my believe that Jehovah God is real and that I am His child. What father would not take care of their child?

The same goes for Jesus. I have spent over thirty years faithfully serving Him. I strongly believe He will always take care of me.

I pray this article has been of comfort and strength to all in the service of our Heavenly King.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) for blessing me with Your divine strength, comfort, encouragement, peace, love and joy as I humbly serve You. What are You going to Do?

For God is not the author of confusion but of peace. 1 Corinthians 14:33 New King James Version                                                                                                        

 Worry is a thin stream of fear that trickles through the mind, which, if encouraged, will cut a channel so wide that all other thoughts will be drained out. Author Unknown

Are you in a financial pickle? What are you going to do? Are you going to go to a financial advisor (some have given me some very bad advice and I wonder if they have your best interest at heart or the financial institution they work for as well as their bonuses?) Do they not offer so much advice that many times it is confusing to know the right course to take? Does this not cause fear, worry and physical health problems?                                                                                 

Why not go to the financial advisor which is the smartest of all and truly has you best interests at heart?                                                                            

His name is Jehovah. He loves you, cares about you and will never lead you wrong. It has worked for me and has brought about a lot of peace into my life as a consequence. The same holds true for every aspect of your life.                

                                                                                                                                           

There are two catches however.                                                                      

One is obedience.                                                                                                  

When Jehovah speaks to you, you are to be obedient unto His voice. Many times what He has advised me to do seemed crazy but at the other end of it I saw His infinite wisdom and was overjoyed that I obeyed Him. He can and will speak to you through Bible reading, talking with Godly councilors, listening to Christian sermons and through other means as well.                                                                                                                 

There is no sense asking for Jehovahs advice of you are not willing to listen to it or obey it. Joseph- Anthony: Green                                                                                                        

The second part is just as hard and that is to have faith in His leading. Many times He leads you into unfamiliar territory and it is pretty scary. Even us seasoned vets face the challenges of faith in our walks.                  

There are times when all of our faith shall be challenged no matter how long we have walked with the Master and there is not just one challenge but many on our walk to Heaven. Joseph- Anthony: Green                             

Prayer:   Thank you Jehovah-Jireh  (God is our Provider) for always blessing me with the correct path to take in all aspects of life. This May be Hard for You

This may be hard for you to believe, but is true.

“I tell you, do not worry about your life…Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” Matthew 6:25-26 New International Version

This is a tough one.

Many times in my life I have experienced great difficulties.

One time being unemployed and having no money I had to collect pop bottles and beer bottles in ditches to get enough money to buy a loaf of bread and jar of honey to live off of for week. It ended up for my own good as that was necessary to get me to move to a different city where there were jobs. Through it all though, even though I didn’t know it Jesus was taking care of me. He just had to use a severe method to get me to do what was good for me.

When we lose our job or have an accident and cannot support ourselves we worry. We worry about our retirement plans.

Why?

Does it change the situation?

No!

Now, many decades later I have learned to always put my trust in our Abba in Heaven. I know now that He loves me and takes care of me. As long as I am walking in the path He has chosen for me He has always provided for me.

If it seems as if God is far from you and is not helping you, perhaps you should ask God if you are in the wrong place or doing the wrong thing. If so, of course He will hold back His precious gift for you.

If not, then He is using this difficult time to teach you so you will grow even closer to Him.

Prayer: Even though the many times on the potter’s wheel have been difficult, I thank you Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) for molding me into the vessel You can use in Your marvelous kingdom.

Rely on Him.

Rely on Him not you.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing …” (Proverbs 3:5-10 New International Version).

The right way, the only way. Rely on Him not you.

Before I make any decisions I always try to follow a Jewish tradition. That is, to wait three days before making and decisions and pray and read the Bible.

One time a really nice contract was offered to me. I wanted it bad but was told to decide right then and there. I chose to walk away because not being offered the chance to wait and pray. It was crushing. Another teacher laughed and took the contract. For three months he was laughing at me and bragging about how good the contract was. Then, the company started demanding more and more from him and began cheating him worse and worse on his wages (a common occurrence here). He begged me to find some way he could get out of the contract to no avail.

There was a so called Christian preacher that I really liked and wanted to have a friendship with him. Then he started asking personal questions I felt uncomfortable with and decided to wait and pray before sharing this information with him. The answer was to avoid him like the plague which was very difficult as he seemed like such a cool guy. Turns out he was a charlatan and only wanted the information to control and domineer me like he was doing to some others.

We see a little, God sees the complete picture. That is why it is of the utmost importance to always wait and pray and read your Bible, then to obey. It will be hard but from my experience it has resulted in a LOT less grief and trouble.

It is like someone wants to sell you a gold mine but really it is just a swamp. The seller may show you little gold flakes and claim he is too old to mine it anymore but is doing you a favour. Instead of going and asking the local mayor who knows everything and is honest and would inform you the cretin is really a snake oil salesman, you rashly and foolishly buy the mine. You end up with a swamp while the snake ends up with all your money.

Giving it all to Christ is the best and smartest move of your life. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) always provide me with the patience, wisdom and strength to wait and call upon You before I any decisions.
