Add Sin to Sin.

Who are you going to listen to a child or a wise man? I always go with the wise man. Who is wiser than the Holy Spirit?

None that I know of, than why would you go to a flawed human for advice when you can get the perfect advice from the Holy Spirit. That is an insult to Jehovah. Now you can pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you to a Godly councillor.

If you are going to build a house and know nothing about it are you going to do it on your own or seek wise counsel? Than why do you not include Jehovah in your plans?

That is an insult to Jehovah. When you insult Jehovah do you not believe that will anger Him?

I am about to pour out my wrath on you  and spend my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct  and repay you for all your detestable practices. Ezekiel 7:8 Holy Bible, New International Version

Do you than wonder why so many of your plans fail? And, when they do, why do you blame Jehovah?  

I do not know about you but I always include Jehovah in my plans because I want them to succeed and because I love Him I do not want to hurt His feelings. As well, I have both seen and experienced Jehovah wrath and it is not to be taken lightly.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for blessing me with walking with me and guiding me by Your gentle, firm loving hand through the trails You desire for me to travel and the chores You have designated for me to fulfill on my walk to Your Heavenly home. Are You a Hand Sitter?

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead James 2:17 New International Version

Unfortunately too many Christians mistakenly believe that once they accept Christ as their Savior all they have to do is sit on their hands and wait for Him to carry them to Heaven.

Nothing is further from the truth.

We are created and commanded to do good works.

So my question to you is: are you a hand sitter?

Another mistake too many Christian have is believing in the hit and miss technique.

That is where they believe they will just go out and do good works until they find the place where they believe God wants them to be.

That is saying that they do not depend upon God to lead them to where He wants them to be.

 

This causes a lot of wasted time and is arrogant. It is saying that you are depending upon your own wisdom instead of being depend upon and obedient to Gods guidance in your life.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10 New International Version

I Would Commit My Cause.

To God I would commit my cause. Job 5:8 New King James Version

I believe this is the most important thing we can do in our life.

Before we make any decisions in life we need to commit it to the Lord, trust in Him and be obedient to His answer.

Let us say you want to buy a certain house but you feel the Lord saying no. Later you find the house to be in bad neighbourhood or maybe you lose your job and cannot make the payments, then what?

Let us say you want to marry a woman after a short romance but feel God says no. Later you find she is very materialistic and would spend you into the poor house (I have seen this quite a few times).

 

Maybe you want a certain job in another part of the country but the Lord says no. Then you find out that they have numerous labour complaints against them or that they are closing shop in six months.

The list goes on.

It can be quite the struggle as I well know. Sometimes it felt like my head was going to explode because there was such a fight going on inside. One side vehemently wants the thing I desired while the other side wanted to be obedient to God.

Here Is the Man.

Here is the man who did not make God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his wickedness. Psalm 52:7 New King James Version

Whenever someone say to me:” I am a self made man.” My reply is:” That is your problem not mine.”

These creatures are very arrogant and rude. They are also almost always the type that would cheat their best friend out of nickel and then demand change.

I have seen many who became rich on their own and it was almost always by devious ways and by cheating others. They laugh and brag, they believe they are getting away with it.

I see them sometime down the line. They are broke, broken and all alone. They sacrificed their mental, physical and spiritual health to chase after the dream of material wealth only to realize it was nothing more than a pipe dream and their life has been wasted. Those that surround them do not love them but use them just as they used others. They realize that all their wealth means nothing without love. They are broken shells of a man or woman.

 

Indeed, how many of them end up in a seniors home and the only time family or friends come to visit them is when they want money?

When they are on their knees before Christ on the judgement day do you think Christ will say well done good and faithful servant or get thee from me and they are cast into hell.

A Time for Every Purpose.

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 New King James Version

We must go on Jehovahs time not our own.

The quickest way to disaster is to go on my time and not Gods. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When I first became a Christian I wanted to go out and share the message with everyone, even though I was not mature enough to do it. As a consequence I failed miserably.

It took my King another eight years of preparing me before He assigned to me the task he had prepared for me to do in service unto Him. Then when I did receive His commission I did not want to go.

It is the same in every aspect of life. We must wait for His timing not our own.

This applies to waiting for marriages (think of how many divorces there are because folks got married before they were mature enough or until the right mate came along).

The same could be said for having children. How much less child abuse would there be if unsuitable parents never had children or waited until they were mature enough to handle being a parent?

 

You name it and we must wait for the appropriate season in our lives whether it be a career or service unto our Master.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) bless me with patience and strength to wait upon You time in Your way to provide for me the blessings You desire. Good Shall Come to Thee.

I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken. Psalm37:25 New King James Version

To be a servant of Jesus means we give up a lot of the worlds luxuries and most times just survive, all be it comfortably but frugally.

This is good because we learn to depend upon Jehovah for our daily needs. Because He generously supplies them we grow deeper and deeper in love with Him and develop a deeper respect for Him.

 

As we age and are no longer able to serve Him as we did when young we have no government pension to fall back on and most times no savings in the bank.

Through His love and grace Jehovah always supplies for us in our old age just as He did in our younger days.

 

Three times I worked hard, lived frugally and saved.

Three times I was wiped out. Since living for Christ, He has always supplied my every need (not necessarily my every want but definitely my every need).

Now I am getting old and my chance of getting a good work contract is nil.

In fear of my future I prayed to Him about my future with no money and no job.

Each time I did, there was a dream where I was led into an apartment. It was comfortable and spacious but the one thing there always hit me was the cupboards were always full and the lady that led there would look at me and smile and say:” This is yours.” She said it like I was not renting or purchasing the place but rather that is was given for me to live in all the rest of my days. Then I would wake up.

That day while doing Bible reading a verse like the one in this article would jump out at me.

I like Jehovahs retirement plan.

“Live to please God, and He will breathe on thee His peace. Seek His glory, and He will make thy heart His home. Do His will, and thereby good shall come to thee.”  F. B. Meyer

Prayer: Thank You Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for always providing for Your child in his service to his loving King. Thank you for promising and keeping Your promise to always take care of Your children whom You cherish so deeply. I give thanks for this blessing in the name of He who taught about the birds in the sky Jesus Christ. Amen.

He Conceives Trouble.

Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made. Psalm 7:4-15 New King James Version

iniquity: a wicked act or thing, gross injustice  Mirriam- Webster Dictionary

Many a times I have encountered scum that think they are so smart. They think they can pull a con job on me and I am stupid enough to fall for it.

To be quite honest, I am very gullible. Most times I am not even aware of what the real motives nor what the consequences are that the Slick Willies are planning for me.

However, you cannot pull a fast one on God. God plans an escape for me. Joseph- Anthony: Green

In the end the wicked end up being burned by their own wickedness and I escape the fiery wickedness they had planned on me. They have fallen into their own traps. The wicked end up enraged and deeply shamed.

 

Then those around, whom they bragged to laugh at them or in many cases are enraged at me.

 

Do you know why?

Because they see and know they cannot pull that wickedness on me.

Do you think they will learn?

From my experience, no, they just look for easier prey.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Yeshua (God our rescuer) for blessing me with Your wise protection from the wicked fools who dare attempt to arrogantly abuse one of Your cherished children. I pray that the wicked learn from Your protection of Your children and  repent and come into Your divine family.I praise You in the name of He who refused to fall for any of the evil ones schemes in the desert Jesus Christ.
