But in the History Books

To My Dear Cherished

In the morning, O Lord, I will direct my song and my prayer unto You and will look up. (Psalm 5:3)

To My dear cherished Poppa : Good morning Poppa This is the day that You have made and I rejoice and be glad for the gift of it.

With gratitude, I thank You for preserving my life for one more day.

With gratitude, I thank you for Your ultimate gift of love for me, in the form of Your Son and the sacrifice of His life on my behalf. Because of this overwhelming gift that I often cannot comprehend, I humbly submit to You.

I know Lord, that I am a mere human and cannot instruct You, but you Lord bless me with The Holy Spirit to instruct me.

So teach me Your ways that I may rely on Your steadfast faithfulness. Teach me to number my days and to use my time wisely. I don’t know what this day holds, but I know that You hold the day.

It was you that laid the foundations of the Earth and therefore understands every part of it. I know that you keep the sun in the sky, the stars in place, and have created this Earth for me to inhabit and enjoy.

Throughout this day, may I be always be keenly aware of Your presence in everything I do – as I commute to work, drop children off at school, keep house and speak with my neighbors.

May my life be a living example and may others see Christ in me.

There are many that are hurting in this world – may I be a salve to someone today Lord, in a way that I can’t even imagine.

May my words be seasoned with salt and minister grace to all that hear.

May my actions be aligned with your Word.

I pray for wisdom that is peaceable, gentle, and approachable, with lots of mercy and fairness. You said an unlimited supply of wisdom is available to me if I simply ask, I so humbly request for wisdom to know how to deal with the many people and situations that will cross my path.

I pray for protection throughout this day; protect from harm and evil; go before me, to the left and right of me and behind me. Guide my steps so that I walk worthy of Your calling throughout this day. May I always be sensitive to Your promptings – whether it shows up as a gentle tug or a strong conviction. I pray for reconciliation in families, in nations and to You.

I pray that all may come to know you and be reconciled back to You.

Poppa, you know my faults and my flaws, please forgive me for being unkind with my words and my thoughts; forgive me for being self-serving; forgive me for holding on to old wounds instead of giving them to You.

Please forgive me, Poppa. When I am overwhelmed, confused, unsure, and restless, help me run to Your Word, The Holy Bible.

May your Word come alive to me so that it is a living guide in every situation I encounter this day.

Help me, Poppa, to remember the promises of your Word and bring the right passage to my remembrance for the situation I encounter. I acknowledge Poppa that I need to spend more time with You reading and praying so that I am prepared for whatever the day brings. Poppa I know that your Word is indeed a light unto my feet and a light unto the path You have chosen for me to walk this day .

Please remove fear and anxiety. from my heart and mind . As believers You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind. So when I are fearful, please remind me of Your love for me and use that love as the impetus to love others and see situations differently; may I tap into the power that you have given me, for I am never alone because You have not left me comfortless.

May Your wisdom be the underpinnings for my sound mind.

May I remember that I do not have to be anxious and when I am tempted to be anxious or worrisome, may I verbalize my concerns to you and then leave them there as You taught me to do. Worry does me no good and limits me, and You do more with my worry than I ever could. So please help me to turn all of my anxious thoughts and nerve-wracking situations over to You; to truly do that and trust that You are working. That You are working all things together for my good because You love me; that You are working in ways that I cannot comprehend because Your ways always supersede mine. And that in this working You are molding me continually into masterpieces fit for Your use.

Thank You for increasing my faith and capacity to love You by being loving towards others just as You are loving towards me.

As a child of yours Lord, I know that I am Your masterpiece though sometimes I feel so far from it. Please help me to remember my worth in You when I’m faced with challenging situations.

When I feel depressed, help me to remember that I am fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image , a replica of You and that You loved me so much You thought that I was worth dying for.

I do not know anyone that would die for me, but Your beautiful Son, my best friend did, and I’m eternally grateful and humbled for His supreme gift of love towards me.

For the unseen, Poppa, I thank you. You are beyond understanding, You are abundant, you are mine, and I am Yours. I totally and completely submit everything in my life to You today,

I humbly request this in the name of He who humbly went to the cross for me, Jesus Christ. Amen.

A Child of God Is

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.Isaiah 40:29 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

A strong woman or man goes to the gym to work out every day to keep their body in shape, but a child of Jehovah gains their strength by kneeling in prayer to keep their spirit in shape.

A strong woman or man has no fear of anything, but a child of Jehovah is blessed with His strength to show courage in the midst of their fear.

A strong woman or man refuses to allow anyone get the best of them, but a child of Jehovah is strengthened to give the best of themselves to everyone.

The strongest man or woman are those that are the most submissive unto Christs will in their lives. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Izuz Wegibbor (Psalms 24:8) – The LORD Strong and Mighty for blessing me with Thy divine strength to carry me through whatever comes my way this day. I exalt You in the name of He whose strength kept Him on the cross for me Jesus Christ. Amen

Is the Most Priceless Treasure.

Dear Father,

Your love is the most priceless treasure.

You have mysteriously and wonderfully created me. You have ordained all the days of my life and written them in Your book before I was even born. All your thoughts towards me are precious.

I praise You because I am Your handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, You have prepared in advance for me to do.

I come before You today to humble myself before You, submitting to Your will for my life. Because of You, Father, surely goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.

I am devoted to living out Your will on earth, to be more concerned with storing up treasures in Heaven than on earth.

Lead me, Lord, in the way I should go. Direct my steps and fulfill Your plans for my life. Thank you for guiding upon Your path for me to follow to Your Heavenly home You have graciously prepared for me.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen

A Lowly Worm

 Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don’t be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord, your Redeemer. Isaiah 41:14 The Holy Bible The New Living Translation

The worm is a lowly creature that is easily destroyed. It is weak and helpless.

That is exactly the Christian that Jehovah accomplishes the most with.

Those are the ones that do not depend upon their own strength nor wit to accomplish the task our Heavenly King sets before them.

Those are the ones that will stun the world because of Jehovahs power beating within their souls.

Those are the ones that confuse those who are wise in their own feeble minds with the Holy Spirits wisdom coursing through the brain.

Those are the ones whose song of joy, praise, adulation and respect sings like a Heavenly chorus echoing through the Heavens when the guaranteed victory is gained to the Heavenly King. It was He who used His loyal submissive servant to gain triumph which the lowly servant gleefully admits.

The ones who depend upon their own wit or strength satan laughs at as they are as easily beaten as a two year old in a wrestling match against a twenty year old. Oh what a deep cloud of shame and humiliation encompasses them.

When Jehovah calls us to accomplish great tasks it is normal for us finite creatures to experience anything but terror at such a great task. We know our weaknesses and cry out “not I my love for I am weak, send someone else”. This is the one with whom the Holy Spirit accomplishes the greatest with as He fills the Christian with confidence and power and not of ones own disposition.

Then fear flees like a frightened bird replaced with the power and confidence of the Holy Spirit.

Satan and his minions tremble at the sight of one such as these.

Those strong and wise in the world turn and run like scared dogs at the sight of such ones as filled with the Holy Spirit. That and that alone is how a Christian lives a victorious life.

By my strength and wit only failure will be my reward. By submitting to The Holy Spirit victory is guaranteed. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Izuz Wegibbor (Psalms 24:8 The LORD Strong and Mighty) for blessing me with Your undefeatable strength when the foes are too numerous and too strong for me to defend myself against.                                             

Thank you for blessing me with the strength to continue on when exhausted to a great victory for You.

I praise You for Your mighty, yest gentle protective arm around this feeble child of Your in the name of He whose strength kept Him nailed to the agonizing cross to accomplish the most awesome feat of all, salvation to all, Jesus Christ. Amen

My Gimme List.

It seems like the majority of folks today are like spoiled babies always crying gimme, gimme, gimme. It does not matter if the are young or old, man or woman (and as much as the lie berals like to pollute Gods design, that is the only two sexes there is naturally). It does not matter if the are rich or poor or what ethnically they are.

Yet, in this deafening screeching is the sound of silence of gratitude and service.

What can I offer the Lord for all he has done for me? Psalm 116:12 Holy Bible New Living Translation

Here is my gimme list

Please my Love gimme a grateful heart to thank you for all of your blessing both great and small every day.

Please my Love gimme eyes to see the subtle blessing You abundantly shower upon me every day so I can praise You more and more every day.

Please my Love, bless me with a heart that expands its love for You more and more every day.

Please my Love, gimme a mind and body that is submissive to Your will in my life every day.

Please my Love, gimme a forgiving heart to those who have offended me just as You forgive me when I repent.

Please my Love, open my eyes unto the needy not the lazy and ungrateful but rather those who are in genuine need and are appreciative of the help given.

Please my Love guide me where to invest Your tenth of my salary to You where it will do the most good for Your kingdom.

All of these are a gift of thanksgiving for my salvation and adoption into my Loving Heavenly Fathers family.

The Perfect Day Planner

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalm 139:16 Holy Bible New Living Translation

The first and most important decision I make every morning is to humbly request that Jehovah guide my every thought word and deed during the day.

I have found out, the hard way, going my own way only leads to emptiness, meaningless life and many times disaster. Submitting unto our Heavenly King Jesus is difficult but the rewards are Heavenly. There is constant companionship with Him, the Holy Spirit to guide me, angels to protect me and a Heavenly home waiting for me at this physical bodies end.

There are only two ways of doing things Your way which leads to disaster or Jehovahs way which leads to success. Choose wisely, your eternity depends upon it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ori (Psalms 27:1) – The LORD My Light for blessing me with Your brilliant light, the Holy Spirit, to guide me along every step of the day. Thank you that You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are always there ready to abundantly supply me with the guidance to make the right decisions. Thank You for blessing me with angels to protect me, especially when I am a dough head and make stupid moves. I praise You in the name of my Heavenly Sheppard, Jesus Christ. Amen

We Must be Willing To.

I surrender all to Jesus. All of my life, finances, dreams, will and love to Him and to Him alone. That does not mean we cannot love anyone else but rather Jesus is always top dog in our life.

But as for me, I trust [confidently] in You and Your greatness, O Lord; I said, “You are my God.” Psalms 31:14 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

I have trusted financial advisors and alls I got was an empty pockets as they ripped me off and got most of my money. I trusted doctors when sick and only got sicker. I trusted lovers and friends only to be betrayed and abused.

I have trusted Christ with my life and He has never disappointed me.

No, I do not believe we can ever completely trust Him. We are too weak to do that. But that is okay, as long as we surrender our will to Him, He will expand our trust, obedience, respect and love for Him.

Prayer: This modest servant of Yours surrenders all unto You my cherished Jehovah Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) knowing that it is trusted in the hands of the wisest, most loving,supreme sovereignty of all. I make this pledge in the name of my loving King Jesus Christ. Amen.

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father. May you be blessed with plentiful opportunities to share these with those around you today.

Not Until We Have Become Humble and Teachable

 The [reverent] fear of the Lord is the beginning (the prerequisite, the absolute essential, the alphabet) of wisdom; A good understanding and a teachable heart are possessed by all those who do the will of the Lord; His praise endures forever. Psalm 111:10 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

To fear the Lord in this context means to respect Him.

There have been so many times in my life when I see someone new at a job doing something wrong or doing it in a difficult way. I try to teach them the correct way or an easier way and they look at me with contempt like they know so much more than me. That is very rude arrogant and disrespectful. The end result for them is of course disastrous.

So too it is with us.

When the Holy Spirit tries to teach us a better way at life and we arrogantly contemptuously ignore Him and do the exact opposite, not only is the result disastrous but it is arrogant and disrespectful towards Him. Not only must we listen to Jehovah when He speaks to us but we are to be obedient as well. We must admit and submit to His supreme intelligence over our feeble minuscule understanding. Otherwise, what is the sense of Him speaking with us?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) bless me to always listen, understand and obey Your voice because I know You only want what is best for me because You love me and care about me. I sincerely request this in the name of He who always listened to His Heavenly Fathers voice Jesus Christ. AMEN

Commit Your Works

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].Proverbs 16:3 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Most times I have attempted to accomplish anything on my own it always failed miserably.

When I submitted my plans to Jehovah, He may have suggested not to attempt them.

Being stubborn and independent I refused to listen to Him and the end result was always a disaster. Many times I have submitted my plans to Jehovah and He graciously suggested tweaks to them. I felt insulted and refused to listen to Him. The end result was complete failure.

It took many decades to learn to take every plan to Him and be obedient unto His guidance, no matter how weird or unconventional they were, which has led to successes like I never could have dreamed possible.

If you wish for success in life, first take your plans to He who is the best Guidance Councillor, Jehovah. Then listen and obey Him. This is the sure fire recipe for success in life. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you El-Deah God of knowledge for blessing me with Your infinite knowledge of the best course of action to take in every aspect of my life. It prevents a lot of disaster and guarantees success. I praise You for this cherished treasure in the name of the wisest Teacher of all Jesus Christ. Amen
