The Things We Try to Avoid.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33 Holy Bible Amplified Version

No body enjoys trials and tribulations. They seem so overwhelming yet it is at this exact time that we are brought all the closer to Christ.

As we mature more and more in Christ, although we do not seek out these unpleasant experiences we have confidence that Christ is right there in the storms riding it out with us.

An added benefit is that it is through these experiences that we draw closer to Him than any other method.

Another benefit is that it is these challenging experiences that He teaches us the most. The end result is a closeness unto Him that can be accomplished in no other manner. On the other side of these we will praise Him for these experiences (I know I do every day).

Huge waves that would frighten an ordinary swimmer produce a tremendous thrill for the surfer who has ridden them. The things we try to avoid and fight against— tribulation, suffering, and persecution— are the very things that produce abundant joy in us.  A saint doesn’t know the joy of the Lord in spite of tribulation, but because of it Oswald Chambers

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shammah ( The Lord is Present) for always being present during every storm in my life, I would never have been able to make it through them without You. Thank you for teaching me so much during the storm. I thank you in the name of He who calmed the storm for His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

For a Dynamic Spiritual Life

For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3 Holy Bible Amplified Version

How ya gonna know Him if you spend no time with Him?

In order to get to know Jehovah it is imperative to spend time with Him ever day. The more time we spend in communion with Him (not just whining about gimme, gimme, gimme the more dynamic your spiritual life becomes. It is like high octane for the spirit. The more time you spend with Him the more your disposition and behavior will emulate Him and you live a more godly life.

I have heard so many cry baby that they do not have a deep relationship with Jehovah and do not know why.

When you follow His instruction manual (the Bible)  for a incredible loving relationship with Him you will be amazed at how much He transforms you into a loving child of His in every aspect of your life. As you are transformed more and more into His likeness you will discover your life is a real dynamo.

My heart beats like a dynamo when in the presence of He with whom I am so deeply in love with. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) honour of spending treasured time with You, my best friend Jesus and my Wonderful Councillor the Holy Spirit. It is the most amazing experience there could ever be. I am appreciative for this blessing in the name of my best friend Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a house full of sunshine, hearts full of cheer and love that grows deeper each day of the year. Welsh blessing

Nothing Under the Sun can Satisfy, Except.

He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]. Ecclesiastes 3:11 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is an unlimited daily treasure trove of experiences to witness Jehovahs glory all around us. These experiences are the best time to witness to others about the God of beauty and His infinite love for us using the beauty He is showing us at the time. It does not matter if we are young or old, what nationality or colour we are or those we are witnessing to.

As well, when we are in these places talking with others they are likely to relax and open up with you about their problems. Take time to listen and take notes (if they ask you why you are taking notes just explain to them that that is to reflect back on and each one can be discussed more in depth). Then help them get the help they need whether it is counselling or whether it is some other resource they need.

At the end of the talk ask them their name (if you have not already done so). When they ask why just explain to them that you are putting them on your prayer list and are going to pray for them every day.

Many times, from my experience they will meet you again and will be much more open to listening to you share the gospel.

Pray that Jehovah guides you to the place where He reveals His beauty and glory to someone that has a receptive heart ready to come unto Him (do not do this on your own initiative but upon His and you will have great success).

“God hath given to man a short time here upon earth, and yet upon this short time eternity depends.” — Jeremy Taylor

Prayer: Please Jehovah ‘Ori (the Lord is my Light) shine Your Divine light on the path You desire me to take to share Your love and beauty with others. In so doing may this be a inviting time to bring lost souls unto Your Holy family. I humbly request this in the name of my adorable Heavenly King Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

He Must Ask For

But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help]. James 1:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

For any and all situations in life the first course of action a Christian take it taking it to the Lord, asking for His advice. We must ask in faith, which means trusting, that our request shall be answered. After all our Father in Heaven only desires what is best for His children.

Sometimes, in fact most times, the answer does not come instantly. This is a big problem for most folks today because they are used to instant everything. But in waiting for the Lords answer He is teaching us not only patience but to expand our faith in Him.

Many times the answer will come in pieces not all at once. This is because we need to take baby steps due to the problem being so big.

So for example we will say you are having a problem with someone. First you need to resolve problems in your own life and then will be prepared for the proper course of action to take with dealing with the other soul.

When we ask Jehovah for wisdom we must obey what He says whether we like it or not. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Rabbi (God our Teacher) for walking amongst us so You understand everything we go through because You have already experienced it. Because of this You bless me with the wisest advice because You are the wisest teacher of all who only wants what is best for me because You love me so very much. In Your all discerning name I exalt Thee. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

By Far More Christian Than

There is no [distinction between] Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, [nor between nations whether] barbarian or Scythian, [nor in status whether] slave or free, but Christ is all, and in all [so believers are equal in Christ, without distinction]. Colossians 3:11 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Do you notice the mention of the Scythian and wonder who they were?

Scythian the 8th century BC, they possibly raided Zhou China. At their peak, Scythians came to dominate the entire steppe zone, stretching from the Carpathian Mountains in the west to central China (Ordos culture).

When I was a teacher in China some Chinese Christians were sharing with me how Christianity came to China early in the first century A.D. When I looked up who they were on wikipedia.org it fits perfectly what my Christian sisters were informing of. It took me about three years to come to grips with what they were saying but searching the scriptures proved they were right.

I believe we in the west are arrogant in believing that Christianity is mostly a western religion.

When I studied Chinese Christianity and saw how they behaved they were by far more Christian than the majority of so called Christians in the west.

As well their Bible is different form the wests (for example the only apostle they have is Thomas because he was the only one of Christs disciples to travel there and they have the Book of Enoch in their Bible) and I found it more in line with true Christianity.

As well on the bus going to church the Chinese Christians and we excitedly shared with what Jehovah had done in our lives that week(The members from the west were very annoyed by it.They preferred to talk about pop music, the latest movies or TV shows or fashion- the material world- rather than Christ in their lives).

How many western Christians get excited to talk about what Jehovah has done in their lives?

On the way back we would discuss the sermon.

How many so called western Christians discuss the sermon after service?

Before church they would have prayer meetings and after church they would have Bible study classes.

How many churches have that every Sunday- indeed, how many even teach from the Bible any more?

Most of them have suffered a great deal by becoming Christians.

How many in the west are willing to suffer for Christ?

Do not tell me you are a Christian, show me. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

We in the west can learn so much of true worship from our Chinese Christian brothers and sister.

Prayer: Please Jehovah El Deah God of knowledge bless me with abundant knowledge of how to be a loving obedient child of Yours every day. Please ingrain it into every molecule of my being so as to glorify You. I humbly beseech Thee in the name of the all knowing Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

He Will Never Fail You.

For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in Gods promises] 2 Corinthians 5:7  Holy Bible, Amplified Version

One of the most difficult things to do as a Christian is to walk the unknown. Many times we cannot see where we are going or what purpose there is to the walk.

Faith means trusting and through it all we trust Jehovah and He never lets us down.

This is difficult at first and many times still is no matter how long we have been walking with Him.

That is the difference between us and the world.

The world believe in themsleves while Christians believe in Jehovah.

The world looks to so called experts for help but they themsleves are confused (you can always find point counter point on any topic) but we trust Jehovah because we know there is no counter point to His advice and guidance.

Many go to therapists or worse TV stars for advice (it is interesting that when you look at their private lives, their is in just as much a mess if not more than ours. And, that is who you are going to get council from?)

Speaking from numerous experiences Jehovah has never failed me and has prevented a lot of hardship in my life because I walked by faith with Him.

How is your walk doing?

“Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you.”  George Mueller

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with your consistent walk with me in daily life, for your wise guidance and providence. I exalt Thee in the name of He who walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Are You Willing to do It?

His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” John 2:5 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Are you willing to do whatever the Holy Spirit moves you to do?

Many times you will not understand the how and or why of His instruction. That is where faith comes in when you step out into the unknown with nothing nor anyone but Him as your guide.

Many times He will ask you to do thing that seem foolish to you but you are to obey.

Many times He will require of things of you that is impossible for you to accomplish.

In each of these instances you may not understand His guidance until after the fact which may be day, weeks, months, years or even until we reach Heaven that we understand His leading. It has certainly been true in every circumstance in my life and it will be in yours as well.

Another truth from my experience is that it most certainly will never be boring.

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Nissi (God is my Banner A banner is like a flag that others follow like in a military charge. It was also used to send signals to the troups.) For blessing me with Your Divine guidance in my life. Thank you that You walk with me through them all. I praise You in the name of the Supreme Guidance Councillor Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
