Have you ever seen the falsies?
You know the type, they walk around with their faces hanging down so low it looks like their chins is dragging the ground, while pretending to be in service unto Jehovah. It is vanity because they are saying to the world:”Look at how much I am suffering for the Lord. Aren’t I so holy.”
Jehovah is not conned by such simpleton behaviour. There is no long pusses allowed in service unto our beloved Father.
We have all met some one during our lives that we gladly bend over backwards to do anything for them because we have such a deep affection for them. Should we not emulate this behavior in service unto our Heavenly King?
And, if we so much in love with Him is a act of service or is it a gift of love and appreciation towards Him for all His never ending blessings he abundantly showers us with every day?
Now some times it is difficult in our service towards Him (just ask any childrens Sunday school teacher) but over all we are glad to be in a situation were we can serve our Lord as a gift of love and appreciation.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Ori (the Lord is my Light) for blessing me with Your awesome light of joy that fills my heart with Your treasured love and joy as I gladly serve You today in the service You guide me to. I praise You in the name of He who was Your supreme servant on the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

I do not believe I have ever seen so many depressed and spiritually empty souls as there is today.
That is because they are happiness junkies. They are constantly seeking out physical stimuli to fill there desire for a few fleeting moments of happiness. You see these thrill junkies when they are having fun but have you seen them when they are not feeding their addiction to an adrenaline rush? The same is said for the fashion freaks with each new style or sports freaks with their teams or the list goes on. Just like a drug junkie when they do not have their fix they are irritable and depressed.
Happiness is physical and fleeting. Joy is spiritual and ever lasting. I choose joy. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Now, although we are a minority, I am and have seen Jesus junkies. We are the type that constantly needs a fix of Jesus’ Holy love, peace and joy. Of course, the only way to obtain this unending supply of these cherished gifts is to nourish an obedient loving relationship with Him. We do not require outside stimuli to get our fix because when we dwell with Christ it is in our Holy DNA every moment of every day.

The laws of Jehovah are right and they bring joy to our hearts when we are obedient unto them. This is because there is no doubt or guilt about our actions. He guides us in our interactions with others. This is all encompassing including our families, classmates, co-workers and everybody else in society. When we ask for Divine action in every aspect of our community He guides us in the proper etiquette to be taken.
The benefits of this are that there is a lot of peace in our lives instead of hate, resentment, bitterness anger and self pity. There is a lot less depression in our lives because we have the gentle strong love of Christ saturating our hearts blessing us with Divine peace. There is a lot less confusion in our lives because He guides us with Holy inspiration which is the ultimate in Holy Guidance.
As well, they bring us into closer communion with Him.
When we begin to obey Jehovahs commands in every aspect of our lives with our relationship with Him He opens our eyes to the right path to take in every aspect of our lives that is pleasing unto Him. He guides us in how to obey him, how to worship Him and how to love Him.

The end result in this is a life filled with love, joy, mental and physical health (yes we suffer health problems just like those in the world but we have the rock solid foundation of His love, joy and wisdom in or hearts which emulates unto others) gracefulness, meekness and humbleness. This quality is rewarded with bringing in others who are receptive to desiring such a Heavenly relationship in their lives.
When we have the glow of Jehovahs love in our hearts we emit a glowing love for the dark world to see. Joseph- Anthony: Green

I am glad I never had and certainly now do not have everything I want. Because of this I have everything I need.
Think of it.
If I had a mansion for a home, no aches or pains, money coming out of my ears, a gorgeous babe that was a sex mink, a fancy sports car I wouldn’t need Jesus.
If I do not have Jesus I do not have what I need the most in my life. I do not have the most fantastic love life there is, a loving relationship with Jesus.
Whenever I have a need I come humbly to my King and ask. What He has taught me in many years of following Him is that He always supplies generously. He is abundantly generous with His spiritual gifts and opportunities to serve Him.
And you know what the end product of this is?
The most peace and joy you can experience nowhere else with no one else.

Prayer:Thank you Jehovah El Shaddai (God who is sufficient for the needs of His people) for all the marvelous abundance You so generously give to me day by day to meet all my needs. Thank you for revealing to me that the material things of this world are like comparing a starving man eating a piece of bread (material things) to a feast You have prepared for us (Gods blessings). I love to be still and be with the Lord. For me it is always by a stream or on a beach at sunrise.
It is here that I just relax and enjoy being with my beloved. I do not speak but just enjoy the peace, serenity love and joy of being in His presence.
How many people take time to just be together with Jesus without whining?
If you are a parent, how do you feel if the only time your child comes around is when they want something from you or to whine about problems?
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God amongst us) for the amazing blessing when You enrich me with Your magnificent presence in our quiet times. A cheerful heart is good medicine Proverbs 17:22 New International Version
A grateful heart produces a cheerful heart. The one cause the other.
When we are grateful to our loving Father for His numerous loving blessings He generously gives us, whether big or small, we are to be grateful for these blessings. As we give thanks it fills our heart with joy, or cheerfulness.
So too it should be when men, women or children do nice things for us.
As well when we cheerfully give to others it produces and joyous heart in our lives which promotes better physical and mental health as an added benefit.
A benefit of this is better health in both our spiritual and physical lives. Have you ever noticed ungrateful people walk around as if they are sucking lemons all day and they are always sick?
Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) create in me a cheerful, grateful heart towards others who are kind to me. Please instill in me a cheerful heart to spread like hot butter on bread love, joy and grace to other which in turn blesses me with cheerfulness. I sincerely request this in the name of He whose gift to me brings me constant cheer Jesus Christ. Amen.

Canadians, for the most part, are very laid back and relaxed in our relationships.
I was reflecting on how I present my prayer requests to Jehovah Abba.
It is in a very relaxed and casual way.
Now that also means being respectful of course.
When He blesses me with my request again, I casually, but respectfully thank Him.
Think of it like this: you have a loving dad or mom.
You need a bike to go to school or work.
Do you try to con them with many words and fake humility or do you ask them with confidence they will help you out?
When they lovingly grant our request and if possible, get us the best bike there is, do we fall down and kiss their feet or do we give them a huge hug and kiss and say thank you from the deepest part of our heart?
Which do you think is more pleasing to God?
Then should it not be much more so with our beloved Father in Heaven than with our earthly parents?
How is your prayer life?
Is it rigid and as loving as a plank board?
The Lord says:” These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught. Isaiah 29:13 New International Version
Or, is it as casual, yet respectful as a loving son or daughter?
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ElHeehu (the Lord our God) that even though there is no even equal to You much less surpass You, You are still so easily accessible and easy to have a fantastic loving relationship with. In deep appreciation I praise You form the bottle of my joy filled heart. I give humble thanks in the name of He who was so laid back and easy going with His disciples when He walked amongst them Jesus Christ. Amen.

Just think of the amazing blessing Jesus preformed in healing the lepers. They were ostracized from society yet with their cure they could go back to their family and friends.
Yet how many showed Him gratitude for His awesome blessings?
Only one.
So when you do something good for someone, do not be surprised if the majority do not thank you, they did it to Jesus as well.
Just be comforted in knowing that Jehovah knows what you did and you will be rewarded in Heaven for your graciousness. It will be a jewel that is placed in your crown that Jesus will place upon your head in Heaven.
As well, give thanks for the opportunity to show kindness to others as Christ did for you with His sacrifice.
I personally just quietly praise the Lord for an opportunity to show His divine love through me, His humble servant. Then, there is no room for anger if I am slighted for the act of kindness I show others.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) remind me to thank you every day for the abundant blessings You graciously shower upon me. Please remind me my love that the ultimate purpose for sharing with others as You have shared with me is to bring You glory and heal the injury inflicted by the calloused ones that take the gifts for granted. I humbly beseech You in the name of He whose innumerous gifts were taken for granted when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

I have met the entitlement ones. You know, those who think they are entitled to everything. Saying thank you to them is condescending and they are above it. They are also the most miserable souls I have ever encountered. If they ever smiled you would think their face would crack like a broken mirror. They also have a multitude of health problems.
On the other hand I have met those who are full of grace and when they say thank you, you feel special. Those are the type of folks I love to be around and to help. Although they may have health issues they are almost always cheerful. They are also the type that enjoys helping others, are respectful and serine.
Gratitude is our natural response to Gods grace. Nothing so takes the heart out of a person as ingratitude. Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others. Cicero.
I love to start my day with a morning prayer that thanks me Beloved Father in Heaven for all the amazing blessings He abundantly showers on me every day. It is a great way to start your day in a positive way.
Every evening I love to end the day with thanking my cherished one in Heaven for all the wonderful blessings He has abundantly given me by His grace. Many times I cannot finish they prayer as a peaceful sleep envelopes me. Believe me, it is better than any sleep medication you can get from a doctor (unless you are experiencing health problems which causes insomnia like sleep apnea).
