Which Book Are You Showing?

 One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. Proverbs 13:7, New International Version

It is said that in China there are three sets of books. One set you show the tax man at tax time that shows you are poor.

One set you show people who want to invest in your company that says you are rich. In reality they are no where near that wealthy.

Next they have a set of book that states that they are one step from bankruptcy. Again it i a lie. They are doing okay but do not want to pay the taxes. 

How many times do we see rich people who claim to be poor and bankrupt to cheat investors out of money?

In reality they have tons of money stashed off shore and life like kings while laughing at the suckers they fooled.

At the opposite end of the scale, how many times do wee see poor people pretending to be rich (another phrase may be “Keeping up with the Jones’” Just out of curiosity, who are these Jones’ anyway? I have never met them, have you?) They strut around like they are so haughty and pretend to be wealthy but in reality they are in debt up to their eyeballs playing this stupid game.

Then lastly there is the real set of books which states how much the man or woman is really worth. That one they try to hide.

My motto is “who are you that I have to impress you?

This is me, if you like me let’s be friends, if you don’t like me let’s try to get along in spite of our differences.”

Now  we all want and need attention sometimes, but let’s be wise, not stupid.

If you pretend to be something you are not, when the truth is discovered you will be the laughing stock and will be humiliated.

On the other side of the coin is Jesus. He says: “Come as you are, warts and all. I will love you.”

Speaking from experience I can assure you that no earthly relationship can even begin to compare to the exhilarating and awesome relationship Jesus has to offer and will give to any and all who accept Him.

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1 New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Emet (God of truth) for blessing me with the wisdom and integrity to live the life of truth. You, Jehovah and the Holy Spirit are the only ones I desire to impress.

In Their Blind Conceit

“Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have no fear of God at all. In their blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really are.” Psalm 36:1-2 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Conceit is described in the dictionary as: an often unjustified feeling of being pleased with oneself or with one’s situation or achievements

I have met so many that are so full of themselves that it is painful to be around them for more that two minutes. They think the whole world revolves around them. They cannot say a sentence without glorifying themselves. They are the epitome of arrogance.

Of course they only live for themselves.

They lie, steal, cheat and do anything to glorify themselves and bring luxury to themselves.

This is their downfall because they are very lonely (who wants to be around a braggart?).

They are susceptible to alcohol and drug abuse. Because they drool at being with the in crowd they fall for the lies that drug and alcohol abuse is fun. Using drugs and alcohol brings short term pleasure that leads to a life time of hell. Yeah it is fun to start with but becomes addictive and you become its slave. It is a cruel master.

I have done volunteer work with addicts and the same story is repeated with every one of them. It started out as fun with their buddies but soon became addictive. In the end, it destroyed their lives. I have met many that were successful by the worlds standards (doctors, lawyers and such) that had their lives destroyed by alcohol and drugs and were homeless.

We are all one step from the gutter, that is why we need Christ to guide our steps away from it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Hoshe’ah – ( The Lord Saves ) save me from the deceptive snares of addictions that destroy the body, mind and spirit. I humbly request this in the name of He who is the strongest defense against these whiles Jesus Christ. Amen.

I will Look in Triumph

 People loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. John 3:19-20 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

When I first became a Christian it confused me why certain folks hated me with a passion even though I did nothing to offend them.

After reading this first the Lord blessed me with understanding.

They hate all Christians because we who walk in the Light convict those that enjoy walking in the darkness. They know what they are doing is wrong ( the Holy Spirit convicts them ) yet steadfastly refuse to repent of their wicked ways. They laugh and say that either there is no God or He does not care.

When they encounter us true Christians their conscience is pricked and they do not like it.

Then in their evil perverted minds they conceive every torment they can upon us and laugh at our discomfort. They foolishly believe they are getting away with it.

Time and again it clearly states that Jehovah is a God of justice and He will deliver terrifying justice on His time and in His way.

From my experience those whom the wicked tormented will be witnesses to it. I certainly did not enjoy it, indeed , many times I wanted to cry watching them suffer, but accept that Jehovah cannot allow the wicked to go unpunished.

We do not gloat over it but allow it to digest into our heart and mind so that we can share this testimony with other tormentors in the hopes that they will repent.

As well, it is encouraging to those who are being wickedly persecuted. The Lord is on my side, He is among those who help me;

Therefore I will look [in triumph] on those who hate me. Psalm 118:6-7 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

Prayer: Thank You Jehovah-Hashopet (The Lord is the supreme Judge) for condemning the wicked ones and delivering true justice to the wicked ones that inflict pain and suffering upon the innocent ones. I praise You in the name of the Supreme Judge Jesus Christ . Amen

And Then Look Out.

For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil [person] dwells with You.

When you dwell with in Jehovahs presence he blesses you with guidance and protection.

If you are evil He will leave you to the demons for their pleasure. And then look out.

The boastful and the arrogant will not stand in Your sight; You hate all who do evil.

When we walk with Christ our lives are built upon the solid ground. We withstand life’ s storms even though sometimes we are battered and bruised by them.

When you are arrogant and proud oh how terrible your destruction shall be when the storms come pounding in. The shame shalt encover you like a heavy blanket of dung. And then look out.

You who laugh when you cultivate evil shall have it come pounding down upon your heads like fire from the sky. There shall be no remedy nor pity for you. And then look out.

You destroy those who tell lies; The Lord detests and rejects the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

When we tell the truth, even though it may cause temporary discomfort, we enjoy peace of mind and a close loving relationship with Jehovah.

Those who tell lies to advance themselves or to wickedly gossip about others shall be like dung on a table presented to a king in Jehovahs eyes and your wickedness shall come upon you seven times worse than those you lied to. Your offerings and prayers shall be rejected by Jehovah. The same fate awaits those who delight in participating in deceit and those who enjoy shedding innocent blood. And then look out.

They Lose More than They Gain

But they lie in wait for their own blood, They lurk secretly for their own lives. So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain;
It takes away the life of its owners. Proverbs 1:18-19 New King James Version

As I grow older the more I see the righteous hand of Jehovah in the wicked ones lives. When they are young they laugh and believe they are getting away with scamming others. They become bitter, lonely and poor financially. Many in their old age cry and beg to die to end their pain but they must live on in a daily life of living hell. In life, they lose more than they gain. Go to a seniors home and watch those who have no visitors ( now some times they are far from family and friends so they miss them), ask those who knew them in their younger age and you will find they were scammers, deceivers and manipulators who cared about nothing and no one but themselves. Now in their final years that is all they have, themselves. In life, they lose more than they gain.

As well, I have seen those whose only goal in life is to get the most toys. They will lie, cheat and steal to get what they want. At some time they realize that those toys cannot love them in return and they have wasted their lives on what is actually very frivolous. In life, they lose more than they gain.

The problem is that the heart of the greedy and Hell have this in common: they always scream”I want more, more, more, they are never satisfied.” Joseph- Anthony:Green

Prayer:Thank you Jehovah-Naheh (the Lord who Smites) for delivering true justice to the wicked ones for their evil ways. I humbly exalt You in the name of he who defeats all evil Jesus Christ. Amen.

They Will Get Their Wages in Full.

A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. Proverbs 11:18 New International Version

The deceptive man lies, cons, deceives, manipulates and steals to get what he wants.

I have seen many when a tree planter that did this and laughed thinking they were getting away with it. In the end they lost their business, their homes, their families and their savings. They live out on the street with the homeless that they arrogantly mocked.

The reward of the righteous may be material but will definitely be spiritual and a beautiful communion with Jehovah. Their ultimate reward of course is a mansion in Heaven surrounded by brothers and sisters who love them. Of course the ultimate of ultimates is being with Jesus for eternity.

Which are you seeking after?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chanan  (God is gracious) for so abundantly blessing me with Your rich gifts both physical and spiritual. Please bless me to use these blessings to share with others to enrich them as You have enriched me. I meekly ask this in the name of He who blessed me with the pouring out of His life for my salvation Jesus Christ. Amen.

They Pay Because of You.

In Joshua 6 Jehovah strictly forbid the people from keeping anything after to conquest of Jericho.

In Joshua seven Achan did not obey and the command and took some and tried to hide it from everybody. When the Israelites went to battle against a smaller tribe they were trounced because of Achans disobedience.

How about you?

Are others suffering because you are disobeying Gods commands?

Is your family or marriage suffering because you are flagrantly having an affair? Could it be that your company loses a contract and people lose their jobs because you cheat a company you do business with?

Could a sports team you play on be disqualified because you are using illegal drugs?

When I was a tree planter one jerk buried all his trees instead of planting them. When the company we were contracted out to found out what he did, we were all fired and lost and entire seasons wages. Considering tree planting is one of the hardest jobs in Canada and the season is only so long and we worked and suffered so much for those wages we were less than happy with him and he had to have the police escort him out of town for his own safety.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yeshua (God our deliverer) rescue me from the temptation in any way to be dishonest. The consequences although unforeseen now will have dire results for myself and many innocent victims because of my greed. I sincerely request this in the name of He who resisted the evil ones sly ploys to prevent Him from His faithful calling Jesus Christ. Amen

The Wicked is Worth Little.

The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little. Proverbs 10:20 New King James Version

Wisdom is having knowledge and putting your knowledge into practice. Knowledge comes from learning from your experience. Joseph- Anthony: Green

The wise give instruction that is valuable for your life. They have been blessed with this by living Godly lives. Yes they make mistakes but they learn from them and are humble enough to admit it and repent. Repent means not only sorrow for what you have done or said but to stop doing it. This only is achieved with meditation with Jehovah and the power of the Holy Spirit within them to correct the wrong. You need not be old (although it helps) because I have met many old fools. If you desire to avoid many hardships in life it is prudent to be respectful towards the wise and listen and obey their insightful advice. Yes be respectful with them less they walk away from you. When you do get into a bind it is astute to go to them for advice on that matter as well. Do not forget that they have made mistakes as well and learned from them. When you have become wise do not lord it over others but be quick to help them as you have been helped.

Pride and foolishness go hand in hand just as pride and arrogance does. Joseph- Anthony: Green

The fools are the ones that keep on repeating the same folly over and over again and never learning their lesson from the experience. Fools are also proud and arrogant. They believe they are Mr. or Mrs. Know It Alls. I have met many that keep on repeating the same folly for years and know it but are too proud to change or admit they are wrong.

They are also schemers and scammers. When they speak look out because they are out to con, deceive and manipulate you to get something from you for nothing. You follow the advice of the wicked at your own peril, it will always led to ruin.

Speaking from personal experience every time I listened to and obeyed the voice of the wicked it has had disastrous consequences and they stood there and laughed at me. It stung bad because I thought they were my friends.

Can you remember when you followed Godly advice and it helped you? Can you remember being stung by following the advice of the wicked?

Prayer: Please KalEl (voice of God) bless me with the help of the Holy Spirit to always be a wise voice in the midst of so many loud hollow sounding gongs so as to best be able to provide wise advice in such a place so desolate of Godly wisdom. Enjoy Your Feast Now You Filthy Pigs.

Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a  witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. Unfortunately in todays world we too much of workers being paid sub standard wages and getting cheated out of them. Those higher up get away with exorbitant compensation packages even if they run the company into the ground. This is true for both the government and private sector. Enjoy your feast now you filthy pigs. Oh you laugh and foolishly believe you are getting away with it but your day is coming and when it does oh woe to you. I recently read an article where in the seventies the difference between the lowest paid work and the executives was 100% and now it is 1,000% How can they sleep at night is beyond me. Then there are the war pigs who go and start wars in other countries to keep the war machine pumping out money into their pockets. This is done not only at the expense of the invaded country but of the citizens living where the war pigs live (yes this is you Bushes and Reagan’s in the United States. How many of your youths blood do you have on your hands?). I do earnestly pray that Peters vision of Hell is true just to know true justice is done to these horrid creatures and the others that feed off of them. To me this is a sure sign we are closer than ever to the rapture.

When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” Revelation 6:5-6 King James Version                                      

A denarius was a days wages, barley is what the poor people ate and three quarts was enough to live off of for a day. Only the rich could afford olive oil (and they cheated folks out of their land to grow huge olive groves which they got filthy rich from. The same was true for wine).

How many family farms do we see today?

How many people all around the world are living paycheck to paycheck?

How many rich people have more money per year than many countries GDP?

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Hashopet  (The Lord is the supreme Judge) speak into the hearts of the wicked rich ones and move them to do what is right and pay decent livable wages and to be honest so as to avoid facing Your terrible wrath on the day of judgment. I humbly request this in the name of the Supreme Judge Jesus Christ. Amen

Fight When Right

Do you see an injustice? 

Than have confidence in God and stand up to them. 

I have many times. 

You know what; you might be surprised who will stand up with you. 

One time in a tree panting camp a foreman was treating rookies very bad. 

I stood up to him. 

This angered the camp supervisor and he arranged a little show down between his goons and me. 
I told them “You may beat me, but I will get back up, spit my blood in your face and kick your buts. When I am right I WILL FIGHT even unto my last breath.” 

I was prepared to receive a butt kicking. 

I heard a small voice saying: Don’t worry. I am sending you help.” I was expecting a legion of angels to come thundering out of the clouds. 

What I didn’t know was that when hearing this many of the other planters quietly moved behind me, a road crew repairing a damaged section of the Alaska Highway joined in. 

What started out as fifteen of them against me were now forty of them with me against fifteen of the camp supervisors goons. Now believe these boys were no angels. Ha ha but I believe God moved their hearts to step forward and risk an all out war. We would have all gotten fired as well. 

Needless to say the goons quickly backed down. I then TOLD the foreman and camp supervisor to get over here and apologize to these boys or I am coming over there and kick your butt. They had to humble themselves in front of the whole camp.

Later many people came over and mentioned how they admired that I stood up. My reply was that it is the duty of every Christian to stand up and fight for what is right. 

 “A man dies once, a coward dies many times.” Mexican proverb

And it is so true. Remember: it is our Christian duty to stand up and fight when we see an injustice. 

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matt. 10:28 New International Version)

“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart” Hebrews 4:12 (New American Standard Bible). 

Prayer: Oh Jehovah Nissi( the Lord is our banner, that means He goes out in front of us when we fight the right fight) I admit sometimes when I see an injustice I tremble in fear. Please give me a strong and courageous heart that has faith You will be right there with me, like David. A faith and ambition like Paul’s . In the name of the mighty warrior king Jesus Christ I pray.
