Regret is Stronger than Gratitude.

be loving like jesus

Do not neglect to extend hospitality to strangers [especially among the family of believers—being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously]Hebrews 13:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have seen more people come to a friend or family members funeral than to their house to visit them while they are alive. I hear them wail how much they will miss their relative or friend when in life they neglected them. It is so phony it is pathetic.

I make it a point to be respectful, polite and friendly with every one when possible (there are some unlovable folks in this world who will do nothing but abuse you and use you. They bring nothing but grief to the heart and misery to the life. Those ones are avoided like the plague). You never know if the next time you see them they will be in a casket.

Now that is not the reason to be respectful, polite and friendly with them, we do so as an extension of Christs love in our hearts. We have no regrets at any funeral though.

“Dead people receive more flowers than the living because regret is stronger than gratitude.” Anne Frank

Prayer: Please Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) bless me that my voice may always echo Your voice of love, respect and encouragement to all that come my way this day and every day. I humbly beseech You in the name of He who always spoke in a loving tone when He walked among us Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

True Faith Produces A.

action

For just as the [human] body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead. James 2:26 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

If you have faith in Christ prove it.

When we accept His gracious offer to be members of His family that does not mean we are to sit on our hands and await His return. We are free will servants.

As such, He has specific chores for us to do. Many times they do not make sense at the time. That is where having faith (which means trust) in our King must take place. He begins with little steps and gradually urges us on to bigger and bigger ones. This is not a one off event but rather a daily one. Have faith in Christ and be a part of an amazing journey like you could never conceive.

“True faith produces a life full of actions, not a head full of facts.” Author Unknown

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for providing me with ample opportunities to exhibit my faith in You through the actions You guide me to take. I exalt You in the name of He who trusted You all the way to the cross, Your most beloved Son Jesus Christ. Amen

May the light of Christs love shine brightly in your heart

The Prodigal Cat.

You are precious to God

Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood.  And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living.  But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.  Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.  And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.

“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!  I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’

“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.  And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

“But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry;  for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ Luke 15:11-21 New King James Version

We adopted a cat we call Sammy. He is always, loved and well cared for but one day snuck outside and refused to come back in. The outside world looked too inviting. He has no front claws to defend himself against the wild cats and cannot hunt.

Christians are adopted and well cared for by Jesus. For some the outside world looks tempting and they leave.

Just as I searched for and tried to coax Sammy in to no avail so too does the Holy Spirit.

Just as I gave up and walked away so too does the Holy Spirit give up and walk away from us when we refuse to obey His calling.

Just as Sammy will be welcomed back so too are wayward Christians when they repent and come back to Christ.

Sammy has returned home and has no desire to ever go outside again. When we open the door he runs the other way. When sin tempts us and draws us away from Jesus let us pray we are as smart as Sammy

Prayer: Thank you my Beloved Father that when we stray, as we all do, and come to our senses and return to you with repentance You gladly accept us back into Your Holy family. I give thanks for this amazing blessing in the name of He whose blood made this gift possible Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day

You are a Stubborn Fool.

CALMS THE STORMS

For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel has said this, “In returning [to Me] and rest you shall be saved, In quietness and confident trust is your strength.” But you were not willing Isaiah 30:15 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

So many times when in stress, pain and uncertainty Jehovah is gracious and comes to us offering relief. To receive this relief we must obey His guidance and trust Him.

Instead too many are dim witted and arrogantly tell Jehovah that they can handle the situation themselves (which they know they cannot because it has them stressed out. Too many laugh at Jehovahs guidance and believe their idiotic plans are superior to Him. Not only does their plans fail but their stress level sky rockets until they crash and burn. Then, they go and cry baby to Jehovah about how bad of a God he was because He refused to help them. Oh, the stupidity of it all.

Notice, if you will, that this passage is concerning those of Jehovahs family. They of all souls should know better so they are even bigger idiots. It happens to us all but the wise learn from this and change both their attitude and their actions.

When you refuse to come unto  and obey Jehovah you are a stubborn fool of which there is nothing to compare. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: I wish there was some manner in which I could comfort You Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for when the fools pierce Your heart with grief because they arrogantly refuse to accept Your guidance in the right way of living. I thank You for said guidance and pray that I always listen, understand and obey Your wisdom. I sincerely ask and pray this in the name of the wisest teacher of all Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

It is Made in the Small Ones.

FOLLOW JESUS

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God‘s revealed will). Psalm 119:1 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

When I was a tree planter we used to plant trees the size of the average baby finger. Yet, in fifty years they grew into seventy feet tall majestic trees. At first they would grow inches every day until they reached a certain height. Then the growth slowed to inches in a week or month.

So too it is with most Christians. When first adopted into Christs family we grow in leaps and bounds. Then our growth slows. Some become complacent and stay there. Those that persevere grow in inches in weeks, months and or years. But, we continue to grow. It is a lifetime process that continues until we reach Heavens Gate.

“Character may be manifested in the great moments, but it is made in the small ones.” — Phillips Brooks

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator) for the slow but steady process in maturing me into the beautiful child You intend for me to be. I praise You in the name of He who I deeply desire to be a carbon copy of at the end of Your process Jesus Christ. Amen.

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

We Are On a Journey.

LEADS TO HEAVEN

Be dressed and ready for active service.” Luke 12:35 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

In the Christian life we are on a journey. Yes it is nice to think about what Heaven will be like but we need to stayed focused on where we are in the present and where Jehovah is leading us on our journey towards Heavens Gate.

We are useless to Christ if we spend our Christian life day dreaming about Heaven instead of concentrating on being Christs servant on the journey there. Joseph a servant of Christ.

On this journey many times we do not have a road map of where Christ is sending us our what our service entails. It may be a journey of being a godly husband or wife, a godly parent. It may be on a journey of your vocation as say a nurse or a waitress at a quaint restaurant.

During the course of this journey there will be many dangers, pitfalls, loneliness, and exhaustion. It is at these times we shall draw ever closer unto our Heavenly Beloved and He shall draw the closest to us. In His loving grace we shall experience His amazing love, wisdom, comfort, encouragement and power. This shall instill in us a wonder and awe of His majesty. The result of this is an ever deeper desire to trust Him on our journey to Heavens gate and desire to be a loyal bond servant ( a bond servant is one who serves out of free will) unto Him.

“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.” — Ursula LeGuin

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for blessing me with walking with me throughout this adventure called life. It is in following You that we have traveled amazing paths and accomplished incredible feats together. I praise You in the name of He who is the light that I follow of the trail of life Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

It is Unbeatable.

GODS GUIDEBOOK

For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Every time I get in a debate, whether with a member of Jehovahs family or of those which belong to satans, I quote a Bible verse. Then it is explained what it meant in the culture of the day, in my life and how to put it in application in my life. It is unbeatable.

Now I love it when a Christian does the same with me because it expands my knowledge and help me improve my life.

For those that desire to remain in walking with satan to Hell, I have seen them scream like an insane banshee and run away.

For those who are open to the message it opens their eyes. Sometimes they want to learn more. Sometimes they walk away and digest what has been shared with them and come back later, eager to learn more and to begin a commitment to becoming a member of Jehovahs family.

That is why it is imperative that we study our Bibles under the tutorship of the Holy Spirit.

“Defend the Bible? I would just as soon defend a lion. Just turn the Bible loose. It will defend itself.” — Charles H. Spurgeon

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emet (God of truth) for blessing me with the revelation of the supreme truth in Your Holy book. It is my defender, instruction for life manual and reassurer of Your love and the Heavenly home You have prepared for me. I praise You in the name of He who only spoke the truth to us during His earthly ministry Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah
