Pigeon Walk Towards Christ

Do Not be Afraid.

 ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ “Indeed, all those who are angry with you will be put to shame and humiliated; Those who strive against you will be as nothing and will perish. When you experience Jehovah calling you out into the unknown do not be afraid. This of course is easier said then done.

For me I used to call out and say as the man said to Jesus: “ I believe, help me in my unbelief.” In essence he was saying I know You can do it but there are still doubts, please help me conquer my doubts.” There is nothing wrong with that. It is being perfectly honest with Jehovah which is what He desires of us.

Of course the longer we walk into the unknown with our Master the more trust we have in Him.

Do you notice how it says to take hold of His right hand?

The right hand signified supreme authority, Divine blessing, strength, justice and power.

So Jehovah is informing you to freely and confidently call upon His right hand to deliver Divine justice while abundantly pouring out His majestic strength and power into your spirit to conquer any wicked ones that stupidly attack one who belongs to the Supreme King. Of course we see the results at the final passage and it will not be pleasant to your attackers.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) for blessing this humble child of Your with Your limitless strength, provisions, justice, provisions and wisdom while following the path You have chosen for me to take to the Heavenly home You have prepared for me to take. It Has not Crept Up.

 

 Do not cast me off nor send me away in the time of old age;do not abandon me when my strength fails and I am weak. Psalm 71:9 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Have you ever heard the old saying: “Old age has crept up on me.”

It has not crept up on me. It has come with numerous calling cards. I was reflecting upon this recently. I still go for long walks but now find there is a need for frequent stops for rest. Working in the garden all day doing heavy manual chores is a thing of the past. Even volunteering has taught me old age has not come a knocking but is already in my house ( my body). I used to be able to walk all day in the seniors home going from living area to living area. Now my knees will not take it. Working for Habitat for Humanity is challenging. I used to work very vigorously for ten hours straight in very difficult circumstances being a tree planter with no breaks but now there is a need frequent rests while doing things that were a breeze just a few short years ago.

The upside of it of course is the deeper wisdom Jehovah has blessed me with all these years. I love sharing it with the younger ones ( that are willing to listen).

Now there is less confidence in my abilities and complete confidence in Jehovahs unending abilities to take care of me.

There is so much less stress now. Now I can say with complete confidence that I know Jehovah will never desert me nor leave me.

We spend more time walking together and talking together ( no that is no senility it is a very real presence and conversation) which is deeply cherished.

So for all of you old fogies that despair of getting old I say I revel it my aging because it is so sweet, indeed, even Divine.

And, the most cherished of all, is having faith that there really is a heavenly home waiting for me where there is no such thing as an old dilapidated body but an awesome one which will be regenerated by my loving Heavenly Father.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) that You are faithful unto Your Divine vows to care for me in my old age. I exalt You in the name of my Faithful King whom shall greet me to the Heavenly Home He has faithfully promised awaits me upon my departure from this world Jesus Christ. Amen.

He Knows.

 

Declaring the end and the result from the beginning Isaiah 46:10 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Do not worry, Jehovah knew these things would happen from the beginning of time. He knows everything.

The difference is that when we obey His commands He knows the blessings He will generously shower upon us. He knows the hard times we will encounter so He knows the strength, wisdom, guidance and support we will need and bountifully provides for us. It makes Him very joyful to help and share with the children He adores so much.

When we are disobedient unto Him He knows the pain and sorrow it will bring to us. No, He will not cause bad things to happen to us because He is a loving God. However He allows us to reap the rewards for our disobedience. This causes Him to weep bitterly ( bitterly means to weep with a lot of pain).

A wise man obeys Jehovahs commands and is rewarded accordingly. A fool scoffs at Jehovahs commands and reaps the consequences. Joseph son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Rohi ( Jesus is our Divine Shepherd ) for blessing me with Your firm, steady hand through the path of life You have wisely chosen for me. I exalt Thee in the name of He who is the path to Shepherds me all the way to Heaven Jesus Christ. Amen.

With Great Confidence.

 

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers. Boy I sure never had that, great confidence, when enduring my trials and tribulations, sorrows and snare in my early walk with Christ.

The two questions that were constantly asked of Him were: “Why are you doing this to me? and “Where are You through all this?”

When the raging storms and fire storms had passed it was revealed that He was there. These circumstances were used to teach me valuable lessons, the most important of which was there was to be complete trust in our Savior that He was walking with it with us.

As well they were used to burn off the dross and mold me into a beautiful child of Jehovahs.

Now there is constant thanks and wonder ( at just what He is doing through this experience ) during these events.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Bara (The Lord Creator) for the awesome work You have accomplished in this difficult lump of clay. I praise You in the name of He who transformed some very difficult lumps of clay into world changing disciples Jesus Christ. Amen.

We Can be a Superman.

 

And [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength Ephesians 1:19 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

We can be a superman or a superwoman.

No we will not be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, no we will not be faster than a speeding bullet not stronger than steel.

We have free and plentiful supplies every day of the power from the Holy Spirit.

This super power will enable us to be patient when we want to scream at someone or something.

This super power will bless us with astounding wisdom which will make scammers and scammers look like fools whenever they foolishly attempt to entrap us.

This super power will enable us to love when the world says to hate.

This super power will enable us to forgive when the world says we should extract vengeance.

This super power is exclusively available unto Jehovahs children when we ask for it and obey the Fathers commands on how to receive it.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Izoa Hakaboth ( The Lord Strong and Mighty ) for blessing me with Your Divine strength to walk as a loving obedient child of Yours through this dark cold world. I extol Thee in the name of He who is the Light of the World Jesus Christ. Amen.

Don’t Trust Everything You See.

  But test all things carefully [so you can recognize what is good]. Hold firmly to that which is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

In my younger days I was very naive and trusting. A sucker in waiting you might say.

As there was maturity in my Christian walk there was not a spirit of cynicism but rather one of wisdom.

One of the traits learned was of an old Jewish tradition that dictated the before any deal was made first there must be three days of prayer. Following this simple procedure has prevented a lot of grief and frustration.

As we pray Jehovah leads us to Bible verses or when reading a contract to notice things which were overlooked the first time which ensnares us. This has prevented me from entering into horrible contracts which would have brought nothing of benefit to me and considerable loss.

He leads us to be patient and look at the character of those around us which prevents us from mixing with the wrong company as He opens our eyes to their attitudes and disposition. This has prevented me from getting entangled in disastrous relationships.

Constantly Rejoicing in Hope.

 Constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength] Romans 12: 12 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Having hope in this instance refers to having confidence in Jehovah.

In every aspect of my life , no matter how difficult I have complete and total confidence in Him. Even, when I do not understand what is happening or why.

Depending upon the Holy Spirit during crisis’ blesses me with being as steady as a rock. Somethings it will teeter and totter back and forth but never lose its firm footing.

Depending upon the Holy Spirit during this time also expands my patience. Many times it is only by His grace alone that disaster is averted. Devotion to prayer has become such an integral part of my day that I feel totally uncomfortable all day if I do not begin it with morning prayers.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for blessing me with Your Divine presence through out my life. I have complete and total confidence in Your guidance and care for this, Your cherished child. Thank you for blessing me with sharing loving conversations with me every day. I extol Thee in the name of He who is always with me Jesus Christ. Amen.

We All Fall Down.

  For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again Proverbs 24:16 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I do not care how long you have been a member of the Family of Jehovah, I do not care how strong your trust in Jehovah is we all fall down.

That is when the wicked one will come and mock you and tell you Jehovah is angry with you and you are not fit to be a member of His divine family. Do not believe him.

When we sincerely repent ( which means we admit what we did, admit it was wrong, apologize for it and stop doing it ) then we are forgiven.

I think an important note about repentance is for parents to set the example and repent to their young children ( and old ones of course) when we mess up. It teaches them integrity which will carry them through life and they will respect you for it.

This process is carried through out our life here on this planet until Jehovah takes us to our Heavenly home.

We will stumble and crawl our way to Heaven, not strut Joseph son of Jehovah

Do not be arrogant and foolishly believe yourself above this because that is when you are easy prey for satan.

Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation]. 1 Corinthians 10:12 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I know in my early walk with Christ there were times when I was absurd and believed I was strong and oh how hard was the fall and how deep them shame. Thankfully there was repentance on my behalf.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Hoshe’ah – ( The Lord Saves ) for graciously saving me and lifting me out of the dung pit we all fall into on occasion in our walk to our Heavenly home. I praise You in the name of He who lifted Peter out of the waves that were enveloping Him Jesus Christ. Amen

He is Always There.

 Your way [of escape for Your people] was through the sea, And Your paths through the great waters, And Your footprints were not traceable. Psalm 77:19 Holy Bible Amplified Version

There have been many times during my trials and tribulation, sorrows and snares in life that I cried out unto Jehovah to come and rescue me but believed He had deserted me. In reflection it was revealed that He is always there.

Do you think it is just a coincidence that that man or woman came into your life at just the right moment when you needed help but there was none forth coming?

When it seems as of you are walking through the desert with no job prospect do you think it is coincidence that that employment offer came along?

For me many times it was tiny ads in the newspaper that jumped out at me and would not let go until I took action on them. It always resulted in amazing accomplishments in my life. It helped me find employment, it helped me find good Christian councilors, it guided me to schools that Jehovah wanted me to attend to learn a skill that would be used in service unto Him later on. This is just but one example of Him being there without me even knowing it at the time.

So, no matter what ordeal you are experiencing now and it seems as if Jehovah has deserted you take comfort child of Jehovah He is always there.
