A Lowly Worm

The worm is a lowly creature that is easily destroyed. It is weak and helpless.

That is exactly the Christian that Jehovah accomplishes the most with.

Those are the ones that do not depend upon their own strength nor wit to accomplish the task our Heavenly King sets before them.

Those are the ones that will stun the world because of Jehovahs power beating within their souls.

Those are the ones that confuse those who are wise in their own feeble minds with the Holy Spirits wisdom coursing through the brain.

Those are the ones whose song of joy, praise, adulation and respect sings like a Heavenly chorus echoing through the Heavens when the guaranteed victory is gained to the Heavenly King. It was He who used His loyal submissive servant to gain triumph which the lowly servant gleefully admits.

The ones who depend upon their own wit or strength satan laughs at as they are as easily beaten as a two year old in a wrestling match against a twenty year old. Oh what a deep cloud of shame and humiliation encompasses them.

When Jehovah calls us to accomplish great tasks it is normal for us finite creatures to experience anything but terror at such a great task. We know our weaknesses and cry out “not I my love for I am weak, send someone else”. This is the one with whom the Holy Spirit accomplishes the greatest with as He fills the Christian with confidence and power and not of ones own disposition.

Then fear flees like a frightened bird replaced with the power and confidence of the Holy Spirit.

Satan and his minions tremble at the sight of one such as these.

Those strong and wise in the world turn and run like scared dogs at the sight of such ones as filled with the Holy Spirit. That and that alone is how a Christian lives a victorious life.

By my strength and wit only failure will be my reward. By submitting to The Holy Spirit victory is guaranteed. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Izuz Wegibbor (Psalms 24:8 The LORD Strong and Mighty) for blessing me with Your undefeatable strength when the foes are too numerous and too strong for me to defend myself against.                                             

Thank you for blessing me with the strength to continue on when exhausted to a great victory for You.

I praise You for Your mighty, yest gentle protective arm around this feeble child of Your in the name of He whose strength kept Him nailed to the agonizing cross to accomplish the most awesome feat of all, salvation to all, Jesus Christ. Amen

Which Book Are You Showing?

 One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. Proverbs 13:7, New International Version

It is said that in China there are three sets of books. One set you show the tax man at tax time that shows you are poor.

One set you show people who want to invest in your company that says you are rich. In reality they are no where near that wealthy.

Next they have a set of book that states that they are one step from bankruptcy. Again it i a lie. They are doing okay but do not want to pay the taxes. 

How many times do we see rich people who claim to be poor and bankrupt to cheat investors out of money?

In reality they have tons of money stashed off shore and life like kings while laughing at the suckers they fooled.

At the opposite end of the scale, how many times do wee see poor people pretending to be rich (another phrase may be “Keeping up with the Jones’” Just out of curiosity, who are these Jones’ anyway? I have never met them, have you?) They strut around like they are so haughty and pretend to be wealthy but in reality they are in debt up to their eyeballs playing this stupid game.

Then lastly there is the real set of books which states how much the man or woman is really worth. That one they try to hide.

My motto is “who are you that I have to impress you?

This is me, if you like me let’s be friends, if you don’t like me let’s try to get along in spite of our differences.”

Now  we all want and need attention sometimes, but let’s be wise, not stupid.

If you pretend to be something you are not, when the truth is discovered you will be the laughing stock and will be humiliated.

On the other side of the coin is Jesus. He says: “Come as you are, warts and all. I will love you.”

Speaking from experience I can assure you that no earthly relationship can even begin to compare to the exhilarating and awesome relationship Jesus has to offer and will give to any and all who accept Him.

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1 New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Emet (God of truth) for blessing me with the wisdom and integrity to live the life of truth. You, Jehovah and the Holy Spirit are the only ones I desire to impress.

To You, O Lord

 

To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on You with steadfast confidence],
Do not let me be ashamed or my hope in You be disappointed;
Do not let my enemies triumph over me.
Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed;
Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed). Let me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. This pretty much describes my attitude and behaviour towards my all knowing, all delivering, all encouraging, all loving all forgiving incredible Heavenly Father, Supreme King and Wise Teacher.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for being so loving towards me in that You always supply me with the right amount of what I need, when I need it. You are so amazing. I exalt You in the great name of He who always supplied His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen

Do Nothing From

 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves.  Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. When you do something for selfish desires you always do so at the expense of others. Beware, the Bible warns that it will come back on you seven times, seven times worse than the hurt you have caused others. I have seen it numerous times through out my life and it not pleasant to see and even more unpleasant to endure.

To be conceited means to have a over importance of yourself above others. When you look down on others beware the Bible warns that it will come back on you seven times, seven times worse .I have seen many haughty ones brought down much lower than the ones they were looking down on. It is extremely humiliating.

To be factional means to do something that is in your self interest. This usually is done at the expense of others. Again, those that practice this evil has it come back on them seven times, seven times worse as the Bible warns. To be strifeful means to enjoy causing fights. I have witnessed many wicked one practice this wickedness with demonic glee as they stir up contention all the while acting sweet and innocent. Beware, the Bible warns that it will come back on you seven times, seven times worse than the hurt you have caused others. I have seen it numerous times through out my life and it not pleasant to see and even more unpleasant to endure.

These disgusting creatures that gleefully practice these malicious end up being miserable creatures that suffer terribly for their wicked deeds far more that they ever gain from them.

The crops you plant today you will eat tomorrow, so, make sure you plant sweet crops because they will taste better at meal time. Joseph a son of Jehovah

What do I Care.

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe. Proverbs 29:25 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

Here are four very important words we all need to remember : “ What do I care. “

There are plenty of wolves ( those who like to prey upon the weak and tear them down ) both inside inside the church ( as a matter of fact , I have encountered more inside the church than outside ) and outside ( most of the ones I have met outside the church are the satanic politically correct whose idea of free speech and thought is that you are entitled to your opinion as long as it agrees with mine. If you disagree with mine your are intolerant , racist , homophobic or sexist ) .

When they attack you unfairly for standing up to for the Truth just reply : You are the intolerant one who refuses to listen to the truth. Therefore as pertaining to your “ opinion” “ What do I care. “ and just stand there and allow them to scream at you and look like fools. Either that or they will shut up and walk away.

When they try to gang up on you just ask the ring leader why they are afraid to debate with you one on one. I have used this quite successfully numerous times.

Indeed most times after the confrontation many folks come up to me and thank me for standing up for the Truth ( even if they are not Christians ).

The Lord is my light and my salvation— Whom shall I fear? Psalm 27:1 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

Then there are the ones that laugh at you because you do not follow them down the road of despair. They are in despair because they try to keep up with the Jones and the Jones keep on changing the rules. I dress as I feel comfortable and respectable.

When someone mocks me because I do not keep up with the “in crowd” I reason with them like why they “have to have “ the latest mobile phone when there is nothing wrong with the one they have now. It makes them look silly. The conversation is ended when they ask me what others think of me because I do not keep up with the crowd with “ What do I care. “ 

I then ask them if they are nurturing their spirit as much as they are big business’ wallet. They are informed that I care what Jesus believes in me not what the “ in crowd “ thinks of me. It is a great opportunity to open up a dialogue on the Christian walk.

I care not what my fellow man thinks of me, I care what my Heavenly King believes in me. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Not Need Thee.

 Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation].1 Corinthians 10:12 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

I know a man that when he first gave up drinking he was arrogant and self confident. He and his wife believed this was accomplished upon their own effort and bragged about it every day for three months. Then we did not see him nor his wife for four months. They hung their heads in shame as they confessed they fell off the wagon. They drank away all their savings, lost their house their boat and car as well as their business.

“O God, never suffer us to think that we can stand by ourselves, and not need Thee.” — John Donne

One time when doing volunteer work in a hospital I was escorting an alcoholic to the detox. He said something I that has haunted me ever since:” Be careful because we are all one step from the gutter. “

He Himself Has Suffered.

For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. Hebrews 2:18 New King James Version                 

When you are tempted no matter how big or small take it to Jesus.             

He himself has suffered temptation.                                                                 

Think about how hungry He must have felt after fasting that long yet He had the power to resist temptation. Although He was, is and always will be God immortal, He was also human so He understands your temptation.                                                                                                                  

Have you been betrayed by someone close to you and it cuts you close to the bone?

 He Himself has suffered betrayal.

Think of how Jesus felt when He was betrayed by both Judas and Peter? Think how much that must have pierced His loving heart?

Are you being mocked and deserted by family and friends since coming to Christ?

He Himself has suffered rejection.

Think how Jesus felt when His brothers mocked Him in front of crowds of other folks? Do you not believe that cut deep?

Has a loved one recently passed on to the other side?

He Himself has suffered loss.

Think of how Jesus felt when He saw all that sorrow and intense grief at Lazarus’ grave? Do you not think that weighed heavy on His heart?    Are wicked characters viciously gossiping about you, slandering you and unfairly criticizing you?

He Himself has suffered the venom of sneaky snakes. Think about how Jesus was constantly attacked, criticized and demonized by the Pharisee’s (who should have known better)?

Are you being treated unfairly for doing what is right?

He Himself has suffered injustice.

Think of how Jesus was brought unfairly to a kangaroo court that had already determined His death sentence before He even walked into the court room.

Think of how Jesus felt when He hung on that cross for all of us through out time?

You are afraid, think of how Jesus felt when in the garden before His trial, beating and excruciating death.

No matter what you are going through, you can always take it to Jesus because He has been there, He has been through it.

There is Nothing Concealed.

 

So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. Matthew 10:26 New International Version

Since becoming close with Christ I have noticed a familiar pattern pattern emerge in my social contacts in every aspect of my life.    There have been so many times wicked individuals have, unbeknownst to me, laid traps for me, sometimes by themselves, others in groups.

Being naive and gullible as I am I was  always an easy mark for the wicked schemers and con artists.

However, the result was always the same.

 

The trap they laid for me I escaped from and they always fell into their own wicked traps. They were stunned and enraged at me. Many times they pretentiously fake innocence. They slowly learned not to attempt such foolish endeavors again. As well, they avoid me like the plague because they cannot get away with their scams. They are so dishonest they cannot function in any other way in their lives but to lie, connive, deceive and or manipulate others.

When you hear of the wicked and powerful thinking up ways to ensnare you, do not be afraid of them but have faith in the wisest most powerful protector of them all , Jehovah God. He continually will arrange circumstances so that you walk away looking righteous while others laugh at the wicked fools as they end up covered with protectorthier own dung heaped upon their faces.

 

I have experienced this at school, work, with family and in relationships. It covers all aspects of our social life, school life and work life.

 

The wicked think they are so smart as they lay traps for the righteous but God in Heaven laughs at them as He guide the righteous around the traps and the wicked fall into their own traps. Joseph- Anthony: Green

 

When you have a respectful, loving relationship with Christ He will protect you from such scam artists if you are obedient unto His heeding. This has been oh so true in my walk with Him.

To Suffer Emotional Strain.

Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. Psalm 37:1 New King James Version          

iniquity:       something that is unfair or evil                                                                                                                                envious:    feeling or showing a desire to have what someone else has                                                                                  fret : to cause To Suffer Emotional Strain Mirriam- Webster Dictionary

We who have lived long enough have all experienced fretting because someone is “getting away with it.” Many times it is because we see it on the news.

Why do you get upset?

As a Christian we are to believe God is a God of justice and He will make them pay, if not in this life than in the eternal one.

What is your reward for fretting?

It hurts your relationships and destroys your health (why do you think people have high blood pressure and ulcers?).

I know I did it after watching investigative TV programs.

Looking back there is a realization how futile and stupid this was. It did not change anything. Then a few years later you see it on the news where the perpetrators are caught, put in prison and are living a life of hell or are suffering from some disease that is lowly, painfully leading them to the grave and Hell where they belong.

 

Why in the world would you be envious of someone that is practicing iniquity?

 

You see someone cheating at school and they are getting away with it. No they are not.

 

When they go to get a job and take a test before getting hired the employer discovers they do not know squat and they do not get the job.

Someone is cheating on their spouse and having affairs. They will get sexually transmitted diseases and ruin their marriage. Does that sound like something you want?

The list goes on and on.

Oh for a little while they get away with it but it always catches up with them in the end.

Do not follow them on the pathway that leads to Hell but stay on the course Christ has laid before you which leads to Heaven.

There are Six Killers

There are six killers that destroy society today.

“But if you refuse to listen to the Lord your God and do not obey all the commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you:Your towns and your fields will be cursed. Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be cursed.
Your children and your crops will be cursed. The offspring of your herds and flocks
will be cursed. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be cursed. “The Lord himself will send on you curses, confusion, and frustration in everything you do, until at last you are completely destroyed for doing evil and abandoning me. The Lord will afflict you with diseases until none of you are left in the land you are about to enter and occupy. The Lord will strike you with wasting diseases, fever, and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew. These disasters will pursue you until you die. There are six killers that destroy society today.

One: Electronic entertainment.

Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with TV, the internet or mobile phones.

What is wrong is that people spend too much time in front of the idiot box, on the internet and texting each other instead of personal contact with each other.

Instead of spending time doing things together as a family, most people are zombies with their electronics.

Have you ever seen people sitting at a table with each other and spending time texting instead of talking with each other.

I always inform people that if they want to spend time with me, they must turn off their mobiles first.

Religion.

It is not important whether it is Christianity, Judaism, Muslims, or Buddhism they all have the same core values. People need that in order to have the proper values in their lives.

Family.

How many people are spending so much time working that they are neglecting their marriages and children?

Who is better to raise your children: a mother and father or the internet or TV or texting? Instead of sitting around the supper table and talking about each others day, how many families are zoned out watching the idiot box?

I was at an acquaintances house for dinner one time. Everyone was glued to watching a rerun that they knew what it was about after the first scene. When I tried to start a conversation I was hushed.

As well how many people spend one day a week doing thing together as a family? How many people are strangers living in the same house?

Political correctness

There is no absolute right or wrong in society.

Everybody wins a prize. There is no failure permitted.

Consequently there are educated idiots graduating from schools today that are lucky if they know how to tie their shoes.

How many of the great people first suffered failure before they experience success?

Read about Thomas Edison and see how many times he failed before he invented the light bulb.

We need to understand that just as in the past when everybody did as they pleased it lead to the destruction of their society and ultimately to their country.

Look what happened in France in the seventeen hundreds as an example.

Commercialism.

Everywhere we go whether it is on the idiot box, on the mobile, on the bus, on the internet we are bombarded with buy, buy, buy.

How many countries are in debt up to their eyeballs and the people suffer because of greed?

How many people are maxed out on their credit cards because they foolishly though buying the newest toy would bring them happiness and are now slaves paying off their debt?

And of course the number one reason for the doom of any society is when they turn their backs on God.

How can you expect Gods blessings if you do not have an loving obedient relationship with Him?

Prayer: Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) please turn the hearts of the people back to You in order to prevent the doom and destruction of their personal lives, their family lives and their society lives. I humble request this in the name of the King of the most exhaled society, Heaven, Jesus Christ. Amen.
