Can You Count Them?

 I remember what the Lord Jesus said, ‘I am more happy when I give than when I receive.’ ” Acts 20:35 The Holy Bible The New Living Translation

I have been blessed that it has always been easy to help others.

Sometimes, when reflecting back on the days activities with my Beloved, He reminds me of little things as well as big ones that have been done for others. Many times these good deeds are done out of second nature. We both share a good laugh and He is greatly thanked for the opportunity to share and help others He presented me with through out the day.

But, here is the thing though.

You can be a revolutionary.

By observing your actions you can encourage others to be helpful and giving as well.

It is scary to begin this habit and we always need the Holy Spirits direction in where to go and who to help. When we surrender out will to His, He takes us to amazing places and helps us accomplish amazing feats. Oh, they will not make the six o’clock news but you can bet Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are clapping their hands in Heavens and smiling as they say: “What a wonderful child of mine they are. I love them so much and am so proud of them.”

Now, you do not need to do good deeds to attain Jehovah, Jesus or the Holy Spirits love and approval but just as they are good to you, so too are you to be good to others.

Have you ever though of all the good deeds you have done through out the day?

Can you count them?

It makes my heart dance with ecstasy to know this brings joy to Your loving heart. The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father. Carries Us to the Sea Of

 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness Galatians 5:22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

We emulate the one we love and idolize.

As Christians that means we are to transform ourselves to behave as our best friend Jesus showed by His example while here on earth. We are to be led by the Holy Spirit where He has specific plans prepared for us. It is difficult at first (speaking from first hand knowledge) but becomes as natural as breathing the more we are obedient unto His direction. Now take this to heart and never forget it. Even though the ones we are gracious to may be ungrateful (which from experience they are) there are those who are watching that it will have a profound effect on.

One time when in China I used to give food instead of money to beggars (for which the vast majority was very angry for). After about a month I noticed many of the folks around that area were giving food to the beggars instead of nothing. This was a curious behavior because the beggars are usually ignored. Then the Lord brought enlightenment to me that they were emulating my actions. Wow.

And, remember this: “There is no small act of kindness that is not great in Heaven.” Joseph a son of Jehovah

One thing to remember as well as that there are certain area’s we are not to go to because they are unworthy and nothing good will come of our actions. Yes there were some area’s Jesus refused to preform any miracles in because of their unbelief so it would have been a waste of time. That is why it is imperative to depend upon the Holy Spirits guidance. He knows where to best invest your time, efforts and finances.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) for blessing me with joy in my heart and peace in my mind when I obey Your guidance to preform spontaneous acts of kindness to others. May it be a floodlight for others to see Your astounding love. I thank You in the name of He who preformed the most incredible acts of kindness during His earthly ministry Jesus Christ. Amen

A Good Measure.

                                                              

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.” Luke 6:38 Holy Bible Amplified Version

One thing I have found in my walk with Christ is He has a great interest payment system.

There have been numerous occasions when I have given without expecting anything in return. Some where down the line there comes a time when I need help and it is given in heaping portions.

If you want Jehovahs blessings you have to invest in His banking system.

Now if you are on a limited income that does not mean Jehovah expects you to do with out. Instead of finances you can volunteer your time which is just as important.

Of course before you give it is best to go to the best financial adviser, His name is The Holy Spirit. He will direct you where is the best place to offer your tithes of time and or money.

We are told that we are stewards of our time and money and will be held accountable for it when we face Christ. We will not lose our salvation but if we are niggerly here on earth with our time and money then Christ will reciprocate in Heaven with your reward.

Godly giving is the best investment there is Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for blessing me with plentiful opportunities to invest my time and resources to places in which You direct me so it does the most good. Thank you my Beloved for pouring out Your manna in abundant portions to me in my time of need in response to my giving. I praise You in the name of He who gave His Holy blood for me Jesus Christ. A Memorial Offering Before God

 And the angel said to him, “Your prayers and gifts of charity have ascended as a memorial offering before God [an offering made in remembrance of His past blessings]. “Acts 10:4 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

A memorial is something that keeps remembrance alive.

Many of us at time become discouraged when our gifts of charity are abused and the recipients are very ungrateful. When you become discouraged by this arrogant selfish behaviour and wonder if it has any meaning remember that even though it is not appreciated by the recipients it is cherished by Jehovah.

Your prayers and charity may be unnoticed by man but is the sweetest offering of love to Jehovah. Joseph son of Jehovah

When it seems as if those you are praying for fight both you and Jehovah to access the fulfillment of the blessing of the prayer and you wonder if it is an exercise in futility remember that it is a sweet cherished gift unto Jehovah. This is especially true when done as a gift of appreciation unto Jehovah for past blessings He has bestowed unto you.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Kabodhi ( The Lord my Glory ) for blessing me with the assurance that my prayers and gifts unto You by serving others will be rewarded with glory in Your Heavenly home. I praise You in the name of my Heavenly King who will place the crown upon my head upon entry into Your Heavenly home Jesus Christ. Amen.

We are All Healers

Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love]. Galatians 6:2 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We are to help others as we need them to help us. Joseph son of Jehovah

Do you know any seniors ( Christian or otherwise ) that need help cutting their lawns in the summer and shoveling the snow off of their sidewalks and driveways in the winter? Do you see the need and turn a blind eye? How do you think Jesus feels about that?

Do you know a single working mother that needs a babysitter but cannot afford one? Do you offer to watch the children for her if you are able or do you turn a blind eye to that? How do you think Jesus feels about that?

Do you know of someone that has just had surgery and is at home alone? Do you offer to clean their apartment and cook their meals for them or do you turn a blind eye to that? How do you think Jesus feels about that?

If you are looking to serve Christ, begin by looking in your own neighbourhood. Joseph son of Jehovah

Are you trying to carry a heavy burden by yourself when you know Christian brothers and sisters that are willing to help but you are too proud to ask or accept their gracious offer? How do you think Jesus feels about that? After all, did He not require help to carry His cross to die for our sins?

“We are all healers who can reach out and offer health, and we are all patients in constant need of help.” — Henri Nouwen

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ezer (The LORD our Helper) for always being there to help me and I humbly request that You bless me to be emulating Your gracious love and assistance towards others as You have unto me. I rejoice in this blessing and ask for this blessing in the name of He who alawys took the time to help those who were in need Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have the Same Mindset as Christ.

 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus Philippians 2:5 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

What is the mindset of Christ?

Yes we are to love one another just as He loves us. We are to help each other as He helps us. We are to be patient with one another as He is patient with us. We are to forgive one another as He forgives us. We are not to allow the wicked to abuse us as He did not allow the wicked to abuse Him. We are to stand up for truth as He stood up for truth. We are to defend those weak as He defended the weak. We are to call out injustice and liars as He called out those perpetrating wicked deeds and liars.

Living the Christian life is hard but its rewards are Heavenly. Joseph son of Jehovah

Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; Ephesians 5:1The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand (God is my friend ) for blessing me with showing me the proper manner in which to interact with those I encounter on a daily basis. I pray that I emulate my best friend in all my thoughts, words and deeds every day. I praise You ans ask this in Your loving wise name. Amen

Your Personal Offering.

 Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When I was a tree planter we would get paid by the tree. The more trees you planted the more money you made. Therefore, it was in our best interest to plant as many trees as possible. Most of the planters planted sloppy without care for their quality. I, however always took quality before quantity. At some time during the day I would rest under a tree in the nearby forest and survey the ground just planted. The thought came to me that because those trees were planted with superior quality most would survive. Because most would survive they would provide food, shelter, nests for young to be nurtured, take pollution out of the air and give us clean air in return, prevent soil erosion, help retain watersheds which supplied the rivers and streams the fish dwelled in. It always made me smile and think of nature as Gods Cathedral and I just completed a wonderful renovation on it. I got a reputation as having one of the best quality in the country. Whenever someone would ask me why quality was chosen over quantity it would be explained to them about caring for Gods Cathedral and if you are going to do it, do it right.

Children, no matter how much the world pressures you to cut corners to save the company money or get the assignment do quicker, always put your best effort in your work. It will be noticed and it will cause others to question why? That is a golden opportunity to share Christ.

I Will Rebuke the Devourer.

Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it. Then I will rebuke the devourer (insects, plague) for your sake and he will not destroy the fruits of the ground, nor will your vine in the field drop its grapes [before harvest],” says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:10-11 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Rebuke means to criticize (someone) so as to correct a fault. The fault in this case being our selfishness.

In the ancient world the people were mostly farmers and would starve because of flood , drought , insects and plant disease devourer their crops. In todays world the devourer is materialism , and vanity. Joseph- Anthony: Green

We do not need to give one tenth of our wages unto the Lord if we cannot afford it but we can give of our time instead. There are numerous opportunities available to us such as visiting seniors either those that are living alone or those in a retirement home. We can offer to help worthy groups such as Habitat for Humanity.

I do not believe doing something like walking for cancer sufficient , after all , that is just a one day event. Our offerings should be weekly.

Jehovah is more pleased with your weekly giving from your heart , not your wallet. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Anxiousness is described as feeling or showing uncomfortable feelings of uncertainty .

We have all encountered those around us that are suffering. How many have reached out and touched them with healing kindness ?

How can we help them ?

The best thing to do is to show you care by listening to their problems ( Jehovah takes the time to listen to our problems should we not emulate Him by doing the same for those that are suffering around us ? ) .

We are not just talking about the homeless .

We are talking about those that are suffering a disease . Yes , for many , going into a hospital is an uncomfortable experience but how comfortable do you think it is for them. Why not go in and reminisce with them about the good ol days . Why not go in with some photo’s of happy times . Speaking from experience you will be amazed at the amount of good you accomplish.

We are talking about those who are having difficulty in their studies or at work. Those of us who are older can relate and provide encouraging words to strengthen , guide them and encourage them. What about those that are experiencing relationship problems like with marriage or children? Again , those of us who are older have walked that walk and can provide positive affirmation to them by our experiences which will guide them , strengthen them and reassure them .

There are so many other opportunities available unto you Christian. All you have to do is be available , pray and be obedient unto Jehovahs guidance where your help is needed.

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Machsi – Lord my Refuge bless me with the opportunity to be a refuge unto those enduring trials and tribulations , sorrows and snares just as You are for me. Bless me with Your divine wisdom , grace , meekness and humbleness to help them as You have aboundingly done for me . I humbly request this in the name of He who was a refuge to the poor , the sick and the weak when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

One Goes With the Other.

 And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. 2 Corinthians 9:8 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Jehovah gives us so that we are to give to others. If you do not share then why should He share with you?

Jehovah will not provide you with abundance of earthly delights like a home you cannot afford or a new car with all the toys you do not need or expensive clothing you do not need but and abundance of spiritual blessings to complete the task He has intended for you in His divine plan.

“I exhort you, press on in your course, and exhort all men that they may be saved.” — Polycarp

The earthly blessings will be a time and place to accomplish His plan through you. It will also include the materials you need , like maybe a computer.

The only way to accomplish this task is with Divine wisdom , grace , meekness and humbleness which can only be received through you dependence upon Him. He will abundantly supply these things.

I have done more for the Lord through the simple things that Jehovah lavishly provides for me than through the gadgets the world offers. Joseph- Anthony: Green
