The Sermon That Should be Preached

“How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” James 2:18 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Being a Christian means having faith and surrendering.

Faith means to trust.

When we surrender our will to Christ then The Holy Spirit slowly transforms us more and more to posses the same character as the one we love, Jesus Christ.

And, what was the character of Jesus Christ?

The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others. Matthew 20: 28 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

You cannot be a Christian without serving Christ by serving others. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Now because you are Jesus Christs servant you must not go out and serve where you like. Jesus has a specific place and manner for you to serve.

And, you cannot serve Christ without suffering like Jesus.

The Holy Spirit will guide you to places you would rather not go and to serve in a manner in which you would rather not serve.

He has done it with me for over forty years. Yes there was a lot of suffering. I rejoice in it all because number one, through my service unto the one I love many been brought to Him.

Two, through the suffering it has bonded us as close as if bonded by crazy glue.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2: 10 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Through it all, men and women noticed I stuck out like a pimple on a nose.

That is because I emulated Christs character as we spent much time together. My favorite of course our walks and talks in nature.

They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

You emulate what or who you love. Joseph a son of Jehovah

This is the sermon that should be preached with fire and passion in churches today. If it were, then, we would have revivals like the Welsh revival.

Prayer: Oh my wonderful Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator Isaiah 40:28 ) thank you for giving me the honor of being a student under the tutelage of The Holy Spirit who teaches me about the attributes of my cherished Jesus Christ.

Thank you the He does an amazing job in molding me to emulate Him so that I can live as He live.

My heart dance with exuberant joy as I praise You in His wonderful name. Amen

Infallible Moral Compass

What is right and good looks down from heaven. Psalm 85:11 The Holy Bible, The New Life Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Ori (the Lord is my Light Psalm 27:1 ) for illuminating Your Divine truth to me.

May this truth guide me in every aspect of this life.

This is done not only for my own good but as a dedication of love to You whom is so admirable.

Please continue to shine Your light so as to continue to mature me on the path to Heaven that Your shining light guides me to.

I joyfully praise You and request this in the name of He who is the light of the world, Jesus Christ. Amen

Believers need an infallible moral compass to ensure they do not get conned by popular opinion. That compass is called the Bible. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I Called Out Unto

In my distress I prayed to the Lord,and the Lord answered me and set me free. Psalms 118:5 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

There has been so many times in my dedicated service unto our Heavenly King where the stress was so bad it felt like I was going to literally explode. On my knees with rivers of tears rushing down my exhausted cheeks and shaking hands lifted to the Heavens I called out unto our Beloved Poppa in Heaven to release me from this pain, anguish, frustration, and exhaustion.

Most times He refused.

Instead He answered me with the same phrase that washes all the distress and exhaustion from my body and spirit and left me completely enveloped in His Divine peace and love. “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”  2 Corinthians 12:9 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Divine grace is described as : the free and unmerited favoror the recieving of goodness from God The Free Dictionary

Jehovah may not free you from your circumstance but He will walk with you through them and you will be blessed with loving and respecting Him ever more.

When Jehovah puts you in the furnace of affliction, He is right in there with you. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You Judges 6:12 ) for walking with me through all my trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares. We have walked this road so many times before that I have complete and total confidence in Your presence whenever that painful road must be travelled again. I exalt You in the name of He who has experianced all that I have and so much more when He walked amongst us, Jesus Christ.Amen.

Is the Most Priceless Treasure.

Dear Father,

Your love is the most priceless treasure.

You have mysteriously and wonderfully created me. You have ordained all the days of my life and written them in Your book before I was even born. All your thoughts towards me are precious.

I praise You because I am Your handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, You have prepared in advance for me to do.

I come before You today to humble myself before You, submitting to Your will for my life. Because of You, Father, surely goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.

I am devoted to living out Your will on earth, to be more concerned with storing up treasures in Heaven than on earth.

Lead me, Lord, in the way I should go. Direct my steps and fulfill Your plans for my life. Thank you for guiding upon Your path for me to follow to Your Heavenly home You have graciously prepared for me.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Thank You for Your.

 Thank you my Beloved Jehovah Heseh (God is love 1 John 4:16) for being such a loving and gracious Father to this child of Yours.

Thank you that when I accept Your Son as my Savior and dedicate my life to serving Him, You wash away all my sins like a waterfall gently cascading over me on a hot day.

Thank you that it is impossible to ever be blessed with a perfect love like the one You offer me. Thank you for Your amazing perfect love.

Thank you that You are always there with me through thick and thin. Thank you that nothing can ever separate me from Your awesome love. Thank you for the new life You have blessed me with.

Because I am in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], I am a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. 2 Corinthians 5:17 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

A Morning Prayer

Please my Father open my mind to Your truth.                                                                            Bless the beat of my heart to beat to the rhythm of love. Inspire my soul to live with courage.                                                                                                                                   Bless me with numerous opportunities to serve You both big or small.                    Please forgive me for my filthy sins which pierce Your heart.                                             Mould me to the holy child You desire me to be.                                                                     Please guide my every footstep to follow the path You have chosen for me to travel.                     

                                                                                                                                                                      I humbly request this in the name of my Heavenly King I deeply desire to emulate Jesus Christ. Amen

Come and See

 Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! Psalm 66:5 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

Many of us who dedicate our lives to serving our Heavenly King are living hand to mouth. We are living comfortably but far from extravagantly. By the worlds standards we have no pension fund and will be left in abject poverty upon retirement.

Do not believe this lie by satan to discourage you, good servant.

The Master of the Universe loves you and has promised to take care of His cherished friends, who are also His free will servants. He will provide for us in miraculous ways to prove to all He takes care of His own. The same cannot be said of those tumbling around in the darkness.

Jesus has the best pension fund in the universe for His loyal servants. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Gemuwal (Jeremiah 51:56 The LORD GOD of Recompenses) for blessing me with Your guarantee that I shall be compensated seven times more than that which I have given to You in my dedication to You in my daily life and in my service unto You.                                  Thank you that these rewards shall be given both here in this world and so much more in the Heavenly home You have graciously prepared for those in Your service.                                                                      I exalt You in the name of He with whom I am honoured to serve in a life time of dedication,our majestic King Jesus Christ. Amen

Come and See

Not Good Enoughs.

Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23 The Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Have you ever worked for the “not good enoughs”?

These are ungrateful folks that no matter how hard you try it is never good enough for them. I used to be a people pleaser. It was not that their praise was needed for my ego but that there was a genuine desire to make others happy. It was and still is devastating to try your best only to experience their gratitude by slowly slicing it apart as with a knife with their complaints on how it is not good enough.

Now, that I am a more mature Christian, I seek Jesus’ pleasure not mans. He does not make a big deal out of it but there is a gentle loving feeling in the heart when He softly whispers:” Well done My good and faithful servant.” That is more rewarding than anyone else could say or do.

Work for Christ nor man. He is much easier to work for and much more appreciative. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) – Psalm 98:6 for blessing me with the honour of being Your obedient servant. I am filled with such wonderful joy when You esteem my dedication unto You in daily service to the King I adore. I thank you in Your majestic name. Amen

I Wanna Know so I can Do.

 Commit yourself to instruction; listen carefully to words of knowledge. Proverbs 23:12 Holy Bible, New Living Translation Version

 I wanna know so I can do as my Heavenly King desires. Because I love Jesus so much I have a deep desire to know what He wishes for me to do.

We need to daily commit to seeking out the best instruction for our lives.

And, of course, the best instruction manual is The Holy Bible.

There are other resources such as on line daily devotionals like Our Daily Bread. For those who prefer to listen rather than read a fantastic resource is https://www.sermonaudio.com/main.asp Both are great.

When we dedicate ourselves to asking for instructions for the coming day with commitment to obeying the instructions given, we will find that Jehovah guides us along on our day even though many times it does not feel as if He is there.

Then, there is the big picture in which Jehovah moulds our personality which takes decades. Being a little slow at catching on at times (we all are) it means there are occasions when the information must be digested a little at a time.

As well, there is a slow process for us to serve Jesus’ big purpose.

This may take years and involve many baby steps along the way.

I love to learn but sometimes it is difficult to put that knowledge into practice. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Rabbi (God our Teacher) for the distinction of being one of Your disciples. I love to sit and listen and learn from the Holy Spirit whom You have sent to instruct me in the proper manner in which to be a revered servant of Yours. I applaud You for this favour in Your holy name. Amen
