A closer walk with our beloved friend.

The Source of My Confidence.

For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust and the source of my confidence from my youth. Psalm 71:5 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Society is a prison of keeping up phony appearances. To fit in with the “in crowd” you have to act in a way that conforms to what they think is right or wrong. They decide what to wear, what music to watch, what movies to watch and what food to eat.

I do not care what others think of me, I care what Christ knows of me and is making of me. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Who is “they’ you ask?

It is big business disguised as someone wise. I remember a time when these two guys would rate movies and many folks would decide which movies to watch based on their assessment. The strange thing is though, the movies they thought were super great must see movies were boring and duds to me. The movies they panned were the great movies to me. Strange how they were paid by the big movie companies.

I see movie stars and so called musicians commenting on world events like they are so wise yet they are idiots who know nothing. Many folks are just as big of idiots because they take their word for it rather than do research on it. Those of us who do do the research and call them out are called racists, bigots, hemophiliacs, to name just a few.

There are so many that wait in freezing weather and spend exorbitant amounts of money to get the latest mobile phone from a certain company just to feed their ego.

Those of us who are wise have confidence in who we are in Christ. When The Holy Spirit directs our steps it is because the Trinity loves us and desires only what is best for us not to empty our wallets or bend to worshiping them as idols. We have confidence in our Teacher and Guidance Councilor. We have confidence in who we are because we know Jehovah made us this way (that is not to say we are perfect or that we do not need the burning off of the dross- bad habits). We have confidence in what He is molding us into.

“The greatest prison people live in is the fear of what other people think.” David Icke Prayer: Thank you my Beloved Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) for speaking to me in a gentle assurance that it does not matter what others think of me but what is important is what Your know of me and about me and what I am capable of becoming when I dedicate my life unto You. I exalt Thee in the name who He who never listened to anyone but You in whim He was Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

The Light Above My Head.

I will put My Spirit in you and you will come to life, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and fulfilled it,” says the Lord.’” Ezekiel 37:14 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

One night while sleeping in the back yard in a tent I was awoken by a blue flame above my head. Thinking the house was on fire I frantically attempted to open the zipper on the tent to get mom out of the house. I was so upset I, at first, did not realize I was vainly attempting to find the zipper on the wrong side of the tent. When I did manage to finally open the tent door and rush outside, there was no flames at all. Confused I crawled back into the tent and promptly fell asleep.

When I woke up the next morning all of my finger tips were tingling, my heart felt as if it was going to burst and my head felt electrified. No, it was not a physical ailment that caused this, I am as strong as a horse.

During morning Bible reading this verse burned into my eyes.

There is concern about what will happen to me when mom passes on to the other side (I am an unpaid caregiver with no savings). Every morning I thank the Lord that even though I do not know what is going to happen, one thing for certain is that He will always take care of me.

In the four years of being a caregiver I have worked tirelessly fixing this place up by myself. The only help the rest of the family is, is when they help themselves to moms money every month. They never come down to help and only call when they want money.

One day after crying out to the Lord about the unfairness of it all, He directed me to go sit out on a trail with my Bible. He spent three hours with verse after verse educating me that the wicked shall lose their inheritance and the righteous shall inherit theirs. I kept on replying that I know my inheritance is in Heaven and that is all I want but it would be nice to have some help from the rest of the family in caring for mom. Finally I have taken the attitude that I get what can be done done and not stress out or work myself into exhaustion attempting to do all the work myself.

This verse seems to be His word pounding into my thick skull that all the work I have done is not for someone else (the wicked family) to profit from (because of the beautification of the property the house has increased in value, which I do not care about but they do because it means they get more money from the inheritance). I shall dwell upon this land in peace, love, joy and security because Jehovah says so and He never lies.

Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’Isaiah 41:10 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives all fear is gone. Because I know, I KNOW, He holds the future, And life is worth the living just because He lives.” Bill & Gloria Gaither

For I have taken all this to heart, exploring and examining it all, how the righteous (those in right standing with God) and the wise and their deeds are in the hands of God. Ecclesiastes 9: 1 Holy Bible Amplified Version

If you are serving the Lord and are concerned about anything I pray this article has blessed you with strength, confidence, peace and joy.

Prayer : Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for blessing me with Your Divine provision through out all of my life. Thank you for promising me a wonderful retirement plan which surpasses anything the world can offer. I exalt Thee in the name of He who will greet me in Your greatest retirement Home every conceived Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

We are Most Content When.

But godliness actually is a source of great gain when accompanied by contentment [that contentment which comes from a sense of inner confidence based on the sufficiency of God]. 1 Timothy 6:6 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Godliness means that we emulate our treasured Heavenly King. This brings great contentment because we are not bothered by earthly desires nor caught up in worldly cares. We rest in the bosom of He who loves us, cares for us and cares about us. That is all one needs in life to be content.

To be content is described as feeling that one’s needs or desires have been met.

When we walk in harmony with Jehovah it pleases Him to fulfill His cherished childrens desires as long as they are righteous and not greedy.

I am most content when I am in communion with my Heavenly Beloved. Earthly pleasures hold no place in my heart. Therefore my Beloved causes my cup to over run.

As well there is contentment in knowing my cherished one always supplies the daily needs. For this I am immensely grateful and both express it verbally and physically every day.

“We are most content when we are satisfied with what He has given us, grateful for what Jehovah blesses with and generous to those in need.” Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) for blessing me with peace, contentment and joy through out my life as I walk in harmony with Your sacred choices in my life. I praise Thee in the name of He who guided His disciples unto You Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Sees the Invisible

Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval. By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Another word for faith is trust.

When Jehovah makes a promise to us we may not see its fruition for years or indeed even decades. We trust our Lord at His word.

I cannot count the number of times Jehovah has accomplished incredible things in my life and through my life. Many times I would stand back in awe and wonder at how some of these things were accomplished.

Now there is no wonder but there is still incredible awe at just what my Heavenly Father accomplishes in my life and through my life. It never ceases to amaze me.

There have been many times when the Lord made a promise to me only for me to inform Him that that is not possible. It has taken numerous years to accept the fact that nothing is impossible for Him. Now I wait in anticipation not that He will do it but I want to see the magnificent manner in which He will do it. Our God is truly an amazing God.

“Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible, and receives the impossible.” — Corrie ten Boom

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Roi (You are the God who sees) for Your omniscient, council in every aspect of my life as You instill in me a stronger and stronger faith in You my loving Tutor. I extol Thee in the name of the best teacher of all Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Let a Man Meet A.

Let a man meet a[ferocious] bear robbed of her cubs Rather than the [angry, narcissistic] fool in his folly. Proverbs 17:12 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Folly is described as: the state or quality of being foolish; lack of understanding or sense, a foolish action, practice and a costly and foolish undertaking. Another word for foolish is stupid.

A narcissist is described as  tending to derive gratification from admiration of one’s own physical or mental attributes.

Speaking from personal experience a narcissist does not love anybody or anything as much as they love themselves. They are always bragging about themselves and thrive on being the constant center of attention. They are very shallow and easily offended. When offended they become very cruel and constantly imagine the wicked manner in which the offender will pay with shame and humiliation. They take it to the extreme.

Beware of them.

Yes they can be dangerous, although most times they are not.

They have no sympathy for their victims and delight in watching them suffer. Whenever I encounter one and they share with me their wicked schemes I merely point out to them the folly of it in the consequences they will suffer far outweigh the satisfaction they will receive and I will have no part of it.

If I am the one they intend upon inflicting with their foolish perverted revenge I explain to them  with confidence and strength that there is a God in Heaven and He passes sentence that the wicked shall be punished seven times seven for their wickedness.

It shocks them. It is a coin toss how they will react.

Sometimes they will stay away in fear and sometimes they foolishly pursue their evil schemes. Yes sometimes they succeed but in the end it costs them far more than they gain when they suffer Jehovahs harsh mighty hand of justice.

Narcissist’s pretend to be strong but really are weak, stand up to them or they will bully you.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to be by your side and no narcissist can stand up to Him. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Machsi  (The Lord is my Refuge) for blessing me with the refuge of Your words and guidance to deal properly with all the narcissist’s that enter my life. I exalt You in the name of He who dealt harshest of all with these plagues upon society Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

A Living, Daring Confidence.

Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].Hebrews 11: 1 Holy  Bible Amplified Version

Can you think of anything or anyone you would stake your life on?

I can only think of two things.

The first is the saving grace of Christs sacrifice and the second is the Heavenly home Jehovah has prepared for me, even though I have not seen it.

Do you truly believe in Christs sacrifice as your RSVP to entrance into an eternal loving relationship with Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit?

Do you truly believe in a Heavenly home Jehovah has prepared for you?

If so there should be evidence of it in your daily life.

Can others see this confidence ( without being arrogant of course) in your life, in your conversations and or in your relationship with Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit?

“Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that a man could stake his life on it a thousand times.” Martin Luther

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Emunah (God is faithful) for teaching me the faithfulness of my Beloved Heavenly Father and for strengthening my trust in Him throughout my life. May I always be blessed to exhibit this to the lost seekers so that it may be a light that guides them to Jesus. I humbly exalt You in the name of the He whose faith was strong enough to endure the agony of the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

To Those Who Wait.

The Lord is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him,To those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word]. Lamentations 3:25 Holy  Bible Amplified Version

One thing I have learned over the numerous years of walking with Christ is that most times there is a lot of waiting.

It may take day, it may take weeks, it may take years, it may take a lifetime but Jehovah is always true to His word. Joseph a son of Jehovah

At first there is a lot of doubt and worry if He will answer our requests or when He is going to accomplish what He has promised us. This is even worse for the generation that demands instant everything. It must be very difficult for them.

As we mature we learn to have confidence in that what Jehovah promised us will be done in His time and in His way ( even though most time we still wish He would hurry up).

The reason we have this confidence is because we are familiar with His word and its actions in our lives. We have seen our lives reflected in the Bible through experience and from daily reading it.                                                                                   As well many, times as we read passages in the Bible (which is Jehovahs word) certain passage will remind us of how Jehovah fulfilled His promise in our life without us even realizing it.                                                                                                            I always though I was a patient man until becoming a Christian. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) for blessing me with Your Divine peace, patience and trust in Your Divine leading in my life. I praise You in the name of He who patiently endured His thick skulled disciples Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
