In Their Blind Conceit

Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have no fear of God at all. In their blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really are.” Psalm 36:1-2 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Conceit is described in the dictionary as: an often unjustified feeling of being pleased with oneself or with one’s situation or achievements

I have met so many that are so full of themselves that it is painful to be around them for more that two minutes. They think the whole world revolves around them. They cannot say a sentence without glorifying themselves. They are the epitome of arrogance.

Of course they only live for themselves.

They lie, steal, cheat and do anything to glorify themselves and bring luxury to themselves.

This is their downfall because they are very lonely (who wants to be around a braggart?).

They are susceptible to alcohol and drug abuse. Because they drool at being with the in crowd they fall for the lies that drug and alcohol abuse is fun. Using drugs and alcohol brings short term pleasure that leads to a life time of hell. Yeah it is fun to start with but becomes addictive and you become its slave. It is a cruel master.

I have done volunteer work with addicts and the same story is repeated with every one of them. It started out as fun with their buddies but soon became addictive. In the end, it destroyed their lives. I have met many that were successful by the worlds standards (doctors, lawyers and such) that had their lives destroyed by alcohol and drugs and were homeless.

We are all one step from the gutter, that is why we need Christ to guide our steps away from it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

“Sin has a diminishing factor to it. It always gives it’s best in the beginning. It never gets better after that … it only gets worse.” — Mark Aulson

Prayer: Please Jehovah Hoshe’ah – ( The Lord Saves ) save me from the deceptive snares of addictions that destroy the body, mind and spirit. I humbly request this in the name of He who is the strongest defense against these whiles Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

He has predicted

But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future]. John 16:13 Holy Bible Amplified Version

The Holy Spirit is better than a crystal ball. He will accurately predict your future.

He has mine.

He predicted that when I become an obedient servant of Christs I shall never be homeless, hungry or wearing rags. In the twenty years in serving Christ this prediction has always rung true.

He predicted that when my weakness were surrendered unto His purification He would mould me into a new beautiful creation and He has accomplished a more incredible make over of me spiritually than any body chop shop could begin to accomplish. The chop shops ( those that do physical surgery to try to make you look younger).

He has predicted He will walk with me through the trials and tribulations that come my way and I never would have made it without Him there.

He has predicted He will steer me away from the traps laid by wicked ones and they shall fall into their own traps. This has come true 100 % of the time.

He has predicted there is a special Heavenly home awaiting me with my best friend ( Jesus Christ) there to greet me with open arms. All of His previous predictions have come true, I believe I can trust Him with that one too.

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Ezer (The LORD our Helper) for blessing me with Your wonderful help through all of my trials and tribulations, victories and successes, sorrows and joy, snares and the provisional of escape from them. Thank you for blessing me with Your amazing wisdom and knowledge. Thank you that through all of this You are ultimately guiding me to a Heavenly home. I praise You in the name of the greatest mentor of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Cheers Him Up.

helping-others

“An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. “ Proverbs 12:25 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Anxiousness is described as feeling or showing uncomfortable feelings of uncertainty .

We have all encountered those around us that are suffering. How many have reached out and touched them with healing kindness ?

How can we help them ?

The best thing to do is to show you care by listening to their problems ( Jehovah takes the time to listen to our problems should we not emulate Him by doing the same for those that are suffering around us ? ) .

We are not just talking about the homeless .

We are talking about those that are suffering a disease . Yes , for many , going into a hospital is an uncomfortable experience but how comfortable do you think it is for them. Why not go in and reminisce with them about the good ol days . Why not go in with some photo’s of happy times . Speaking from experience you will be amazed at the amount of good you accomplish.

We are talking about those who are having difficulty in their studies or at work. Those of us who are older can relate and provide encouraging words to strengthen , guide them and encourage them. What about those that are experiencing relationship problems like with marriage or children? Again , those of us who are older have walked that walk and can provide positive affirmation to them by our experiences which will guide them , strengthen them and reassure them .

There are so many other opportunities available unto you Christian. All you have to do is be available , pray and be obedient unto Jehovahs guidance where your help is needed.

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Machsi – Lord my Refuge bless me with the opportunity to be a refuge unto those enduring trials and tribulations , sorrows and snares just as You are for me. Bless me with Your divine wisdom , grace , meekness and humbleness to help them as You have aboundingly done for me . I humbly request this in the name of He who was a refuge to the poor , the sick and the weak when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Focus to See the Light.

weary

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. Matthew 11:29 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We all suffer from trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares.

The difference between the ones walking in darkness and those of us that are walking in the light is that we have a Father in Heaven that loves us, cares for us and about us.

We have a choice. We can carry the world on our shoulders, or we can say, “I give up, Lord; here’s my life. I give you my world, the whole world.” –Bruce Larson

They have no one that has the perfect healing touch. Jesus loves you.

Jesus cares. Jesus is always there. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When we suffer the loss of a loved one we can always take our pain and sadness to Jesus. Do not forget how he weeped at His friends grave.

When we have lost our homes do not forget that Jesus was homeless.

When we are sick do not forget the sick Jesus healed.

When we have been betrayed do not forget how one of His own disciples betrayed Him. When our family and or friends reject us because of our walk towards our heavenly home do not forget how Jesus’ own family rejected and bitterly mocked Him.

When we suffer from exhaustion do not forget how exhausted Jesus was from his preaching and healing.

When we are facing death from a slow disease killer do not forget how Jesus knew about the type of death He must suffer.

Because Jesus walked amongst us He has experienced everything we have and so much more.

Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him and expect help from Him, He will never fail you. —George Müller

So when we are experiencing our difficulties remember to focus on He who is the light of the world. He will comfort you, heal you, encourage you and walk with you through it all because He loves you.

It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. –Anonymous

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Ori (the Lord is my Light) for lighting my world with Your Divine love, assurance, comfort and strength in my darkest moments. I praise You for this blessing in the name of the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Are They Shooting Themselves in the Foot?

HARD WORK

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,  treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3:2-5New International Version

Recently I was talking with a volunteer at a soup kitchen about people arriving early and demanding the doors be open before it is ready, people eating half their plates of food, people coming in drunk, children running around screaming and parents laughing about it.

Then there was on news how many churches are closing their doors for soup kitchens and the homeless because they do not feel safe.

Are they shooting themselves in the foot and then cry babying because they are so disadvantaged?

They believe welfare is their right and are too lazy to go out and get a job?

Supporting them is unchristlike.

For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10New King James Version

When I was volunteering at soup kitchens and offered them work they would laugh and say : “That is what you people do to pay for my welfare.”

Are these people shooting themselves in the foot?

Instead of cry babying about how disadvantaged they are why not try to get a job and be respectful of the people trying to help you?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for always providing for me on the condition that I do my part and put forth the effort as well. I praise you in the name of He who did Your work all the way o the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

He Has Been There.

BROKENHEARTED

He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Isaiah 53:3 New King James Version

No matter what we are going through, Jesus has already been there.

Have you been betrayed by a loved one?

Was Jesus not betrayed by Judas? Are you rejected by family and friends?

Did Jesus’ family not only reject Him but make fun of Him? Did Peter not deny Christ?

Are you suffering from the loss of a loved one?

How do you think Jesus felt at Lazarus’ grave?

Are you homeless?

Did Jesus and His disciples not sleep outside more than they did in palaces?

Are you hungry ?

How do you think Jesus felt when tempted in the wilderness?

Are you battling corruption and it seems as if everyone is against you?

How do you think Jesus felt with the Scribes and Pharisees?

So no matter what you are experiencing you can unload it on Jesus, He understands because He has already been there.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pryyand (Jesus my friend) that I can always confide in You when sorrows and tribulations are crushing down on me. I thank you in Your loving, healing and caring name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day
