No one can hurt your feelings without your consent. No one can make you angry, disappointed, intimidated, or jealous.
Substitute any reactive emotion with the wisdom, strength and self control of The Holy Spirit. Whatever it is, no one can afflict you with it without your consent.
You can choose to see things differently when you depend upon The Holy Spirit to open your eyes to Jehovahs meaning instead of societies or your own faulty reasoning. It’s the only one you’ll ever need.
The people we interact with become how we treat them, more than we’d like to admit. That is why wicked company corrupts godly souls while godly souls mould us more into Christs character.

Being a bit of an old geezer, I have seen oh so many fads come and go.
There was the hippy generation, the disco generation, the punk generation, and I have no idea what the generations from the nine teen nineties are called.
During one of them I was pressured greatly to conform to their lifestyle. I was bullied and laughed at a lot because of my refusal to join in the fun times.
It is interesting to see them now. They realize that lifestyle was meaningless.
Reflecting back on my walk with Christ in that time there are moments of pure ecstasy, there were many moments of suffering which brought me ever closer into Christ’s loving arm and engaged my trust in Him my adoration in Him, my love for Him and my dedication in service unto Him. This was good and pleasing unto my cherished Father in Heaven, King in Heaven and amazing tutor ( The Holy Spirit ) .
Mind you, this transformation will continue even in our Heavenly Home so do not think you are a finished product.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

We all come from dysfunctional families, that is why we all need Christ.
Yes, we all have inherited addictions like alcoholism and bad traits like stubbornness but that does not excuse our behaviour.
When we surrender to Christ, He burns those off and replaces them with Holy addictions, like desiring sharing what it is like to spend time with Jesus instead of being a tongue wagger- gossiper and depending upon the Holy Spirit to bless us with self control instead of stupidly going in debt buying things we do not need.
This is not a one off experience but one that lasts a life time.
I have walked with Christ for forty years and He is still burning of undesirable traits and replacing them with righteous ones.
“Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Isaiah 43:18-19 The Holy Bible, The New Living Version
Now do not be discouraged when those around you – especially family and old friends – laugh at you when you begin this transformation experience. Many will vilify and hate you. You will have to walk away from them and towards Christ. You are responsible unto Christ for your actions, not them.

It is extremely difficult but the big three are there to help you, encourage you, and guide you. They are of course: Jehovah our loving Father, Jesus Christ, our best friend and the Holy Spirit our teacher, guidance Councillor, healers, comforter, encourager and strengthener.

The best manner of doing this is to live as He desires us to be. To accomplish this we must emulate Christs demeanour.
We need the Holy Spirit to teach us morality (although we all know right from wrong in its basics, He takes us ever deeper into it). As well as the tools to live it out in our daily life. As this new creation in Christ takes form in our mental, physical and spiritual being we become more and more virtuous.
This is not a one off experience but rather a lifetime commitment.

The Holy Spirit is like a surgeon. He is the best surgeon because He is a brain surgeon, spirit surgeon and physical surgeon.
He operates on our minds to cut out the disease of sinful thoughts like a surgeon digs out cancer with amazing precision that would make all other surgeons drool.
He slices out the darkness in our spirit to replace it with Jehovahs loving light.
Through this He changes our bodies to live a more healthy lifestyle which helps us to to transform ever more to do the things that are good and pleasing to our Heavenly Poppa.
Wow, He truly is the best surgeon.

How would you like the greatest make over?
When we give ourselves to Jesus He will slowly remove the old ugly you and create a new beautiful you.
Now this is not referring to making you into a super model.
No.
You will be created into a new beautiful saint.
Saint: one of God’s chosen and usually Christian people Webster’s Dictionary.
Now this will not happen over night. For some it will happen quickly, while for others it will take longer. But, the wonderful thing is that your transformation will be a work in progress until we reach Heaven. The Holy Spirit will be crushing and smashing the filth in us to be replaced by the heart and mind that is transforming into a oneness with Christ. Sometimes that will be painful. When we come out of the transformation though, we will be more beautiful than ever imagined.
Of course we will get our final beauty treatment when we get to Heaven and become transformed into Heavenly bodies.
Sound good?
Then why not give your heart to Jesus and join our Christian family.
“I advise you to obey only the Holy Spirit’s instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you won’t always be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to. I see ads all the time to transform folks. Maybe it is their teeth or their skin to make them look more beautiful on the outside.
We all need a transformation.
But the one we need the most can only come from The Holy Spirit. And, that transformation of course is the transformation of our spirit (not our heart). This is not a one off transformation but a lifetime one. We will be constantly metamorphosing until we reach Heavens Gate. Even then, we will still be changing our hearts and minds under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit.
For me, Jehovah has moved in stages just like going to school. Once I have passed grade one then it will be time to move on to grade two. And so on and so on. In forty years I am just past grade four (talk about a slow learner huh?).
There is no failing just repeating the lesson in a different manner until it is ingrained in our mind and spirit. He is patient and teaches us at our own pace.
Attending Jehovah Divine school of Righteousness is a life time commitment. Our graduation ceremonies will take place in Heaven with Jesus Christ handing out the awards. Joseph a son of Jehovah
