When the wicked abuse the righteous they laugh when warned of Jesus’ vengeance that will come hurling down upon them with disastrous, destructive force. They laugh and dare Jesus’ to come and get them.
Then, Christ strikes fast, hard and with no warning. In a short time the wicked ones behaviour is changed from one of arrogant contemptuousness to one of pure terror.
This is in done in public not only to humiliate the arrogant proud ones but also as a warning to those who witness it.

The worm is a lowly creature that is easily destroyed. It is weak and helpless.
That is exactly the Christian that Jehovah accomplishes the most with.
Those are the ones that do not depend upon their own strength nor wit to accomplish the task our Heavenly King sets before them.
Those are the ones that will stun the world because of Jehovahs power beating within their souls.
Those are the ones that confuse those who are wise in their own feeble minds with the Holy Spirits wisdom coursing through the brain.
Those are the ones whose song of joy, praise, adulation and respect sings like a Heavenly chorus echoing through the Heavens when the guaranteed victory is gained to the Heavenly King. It was He who used His loyal submissive servant to gain triumph which the lowly servant gleefully admits.
The ones who depend upon their own wit or strength satan laughs at as they are as easily beaten as a two year old in a wrestling match against a twenty year old. Oh what a deep cloud of shame and humiliation encompasses them.
When Jehovah calls us to accomplish great tasks it is normal for us finite creatures to experience anything but terror at such a great task. We know our weaknesses and cry out “not I my love for I am weak, send someone else”. This is the one with whom the Holy Spirit accomplishes the greatest with as He fills the Christian with confidence and power and not of ones own disposition.
Then fear flees like a frightened bird replaced with the power and confidence of the Holy Spirit.
Satan and his minions tremble at the sight of one such as these.
Those strong and wise in the world turn and run like scared dogs at the sight of such ones as filled with the Holy Spirit. That and that alone is how a Christian lives a victorious life.

Do you notice Jesus was walking on the very water that was going to sink His Disciples?
He has dominion and power over everything, including your problems, worries and heartaches.
Did you notice when Jesus entered the boat the waves subsided.
So too will your worries, and heartache subside when Jesus enters into your situation. You must call upon Him in faith ( which means trust) that He will help you. Not only that, but, you must be obedientunto the adviceHe gives you in order to conquer the problem, worry or heartache.

We need to continuously work at maintaining a righteous character. If we neglect it the devil will creep in and choke to to death in our spirit. Woe be unto anyone who allows that to happen. This is a daily chore we can only succeed at with the help of the Holy Spirit. Only He knows the devils sneaky deviousness ways and helps protect us from it and to guide us away from those temptations.
It does not matter if you are a baby in Christ or if you are a long time member of Jehovahs family. None are too strong nor intelligent enough to protect ourselves from the deceiver.

This is the best revenge you do not want to see.
Speaking from personal experience, yes I have desired revenge upon more than a few folks in my time.
Many times I got it on my own until the Lord convicted me that is a strong no, no for a Christian. We are to trust that Jehovah is a God of Justice and He will give vengeance in His way, in His time. Every time.
He has allowed me to witness His vengeance it has brought about the same three reactions.
One: a feeling of terror. Terror that that could be me one day because we all offend Jehovah because we are all sinners.
Repent or face the consequences. There is no plea bargaining or parole with Christ. Joseph a son of Jehovah
Two: a feeling of overwhelming joy that the blood of my Saviour along with my repentance (unrepentant sin is forgiven sin Joseph a son of Jehovah) exonerates me from receiving what the Law says (Jehovahs court, not mans) will be my punishment.
Three: Deep heart cutting agony at seeing the wicked suffer because of receiving Divine punishment.
You cannot love and rejoice at seeing Jehovahs justice. Joseph a son of Jehovah
And, if you think it causes agony for us to witness it, imagine how it makes Jehovah feel.

This is not just a promise to an ancient nation but unto every child that belongs unto Jehovah.
One thing I have noticed over the decades not just in my own life but also in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ is that it always seems like the wicked are winning when in a battle against us. Then just as it looks like certain defeat, Jehovah comes into the fray and we are delivered.
Oh, that does not mean we will go without our battle scars, but they are used to teach us and to strengthen us.
Sometimes it looks like the enemy has won and we move on in life but there comes a time when we encounter our foe again, it may be a few days later, it may be a few decades later but it is shocking to see how much of their lives has been destroyed through their wicked actions. I stand in awe and terror when witnessing Jehovahs hand of justice upon the wicked.
Jehovah fights fair and He always wins. Joseph a son of Jehovah
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Gador Milchamah (The Lord is Mighty in Battle) for being the undefeatable protector of Your loving adoring child. Thank you for smack downing satan and his minions when they attack me. Thank you for turning my foes weapons against them to cause their self destruction. Be fair warned. Just as Jehovah gave ample warning to the Israelites before the hammer came down on them hard so too does He warn us. You ignore Him at your own peril.
Now I do not believe Jehovah will curse you with plagues however what He does is just tell you: “Okay, you refuse to listen to me and stubbornly insist on going your own ways, fine. I will just step back and allow you to reap the rewards of your destructive lifestyle.” Then you will suffer like you have never suffered before. In your suffering you will cry out unto Him to deliver you from these catastrophes but just as you turned your back on Him and refused to listen to Him, so too does He turn His back on you and refuse to listen to you.
Now if you repent with sincerity (repent means you admit what you did, admit it was wrong, ask for forgiveness and stop doing it), He is loving and will forgive you. You must however still pay the price for your wicked ways. So say you murdered someone and are on death row. He will not deliver you from the execution but when you die you will not face His eternal judgment for that crime when you sincerely repent.
I have seen it so much in my life.
Some folks when they were young they laughed and thought they were getting away with it but they paid a very heavy price for their sins in their elder years. It aches the heart to watch to happen to those you know but they are harvesting what they planted.
Turn your back on Jehovah and He will turn His back on you. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I have witnessed the terrible consequences of such foolishness and it fills me with terror. He loves you too much to allow it to grow.
That is why Jehovah refines us in the furnace of affliction. When there are (and there always is) ungodly behavior, belief or dispositions in a Christians life.
Jehovah first bring it to His child’s attention and inform them of the way to correct this disease.
When the child stubbornly refuse to obey our Heavenly Father, then He brings afflictions to them to encourage them to reform their ways.
The longer the child refuses the Fathers disciple, the stronger the discipline becomes until it crushes the disobedience in the child. It is not pleasant but it is what is best for us in the walk to Heaven.
I have been through it and every Christian will go through it as well. Sometimes we learn quick, sometimes (like me) we learn slow so we endure a lot of afflictions until the lesson of obedience is learned in every aspect of our life.
“Labour to grow better under all your afflictions, lest your afflictions grow worse, lest God mingle them with more darkness, bitterness and terror.” — John Owen
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator) for patiently creating this child of Yours into a obedient, loving child through many afflictions when I was a stubborn and obstinate child. I pray I never have to hurt Your precious heart by forcing You to discipline me in such a manner every again because I love You so much. What will our future look like when we have passed on to the other side ( when we depart our fleshly body in death and enter into the unknown eternity of the spiritual world)?

There is only One whose absolute truth will bless us or curse us with a fainting glimpse of our eternal destiny.
His revelation will either fill our spirit with joy, anticipation and assurance or it will envelope our spirits with terror, anguish and anger. His name of course is Jehovah. He will and does pull back the curtain of eternity to give us a glimpse of our eternal home, whether it be Heaven or whether it be Hell.

When you are tempted no matter how big or small take it to Jesus.
He himself has suffered temptation.
Think about how hungry He must have felt after fasting that long yet He had the power to resist temptation. Although He was, is and always will be God immortal, He was also human so He understands your temptation.
Have you been betrayed by someone close to you and it cuts you close to the bone?
He Himself has suffered betrayal.
Think of how Jesus felt when He was betrayed by both Judas and Peter? Think how much that must have pierced His loving heart?
Are you being mocked and deserted by family and friends since coming to Christ?
He Himself has suffered rejection.
Think how Jesus felt when His brothers mocked Him in front of crowds of other folks? Do you not believe that cut deep?
Has a loved one recently passed on to the other side?
He Himself has suffered loss.
Think of how Jesus felt when He saw all that sorrow and intense grief at Lazarus’ grave? Do you not think that weighed heavy on His heart? Are wicked characters viciously gossiping about you, slandering you and unfairly criticizing you?
He Himself has suffered the venom of sneaky snakes. Think about how Jesus was constantly attacked, criticized and demonized by the Pharisee’s (who should have known better)?
Are you being treated unfairly for doing what is right?
He Himself has suffered injustice.
Think of how Jesus was brought unfairly to a kangaroo court that had already determined His death sentence before He even walked into the court room.
Think of how Jesus felt when He hung on that cross for all of us through out time?
You are afraid, think of how Jesus felt when in the garden before His trial, beating and excruciating death.
No matter what you are going through, you can always take it to Jesus because He has been there, He has been through it.
