Put them into Practice.

“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24 The Holy Bible, New International Version)

Reading the Bible and then not applying its principals is like reading an instruction manual and then trying to build your project on your own without listening to the guidance provided in the manual.

Sounds pretty dumb huh?

But, on the other hand, incorporating the sacred knowledge in the hidden truths of the Bible will enable us to walk closer to God. It will be a life filled with good morals and a foundation of truth which to cement into our hearts.

“Making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” (Proverbs 2:2-5 The Holy Bible, English Standard Version)

This will hold us in good stead when the violent crushing storms of life come crashing down around us (and the storms of life always come until our dying day)

James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says” (The Holy Bible, New International Version).

After reading the Bible we need to request God to open our eyes in how to apply what we have learned into our daily lives.

” Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.” James 4:17 (The Holy Bible, New Living Translation).

“Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path” (Psalm 119:105 The Holy Bible, Good News Bible).

Guard my words as your most precious possession. Write them down and also keep them deep within your heart.” (Proverbs 7:2 The Holy Bible,The Living Bible)

We are to obey what the Holy Spirit teaches or we are wasting His time by being make believe Christians. Joseph a son of Jehovah

We are not to become Holy Rollers or Bible thumpers.

You know the type. They shove the Bible in your face and pound on it condemning you and demanding you follow THEIR version of the passages. All the while, they go about living as they please. Can you say the word hypocrite or bully?

Please don’t condemn yourselves with this destructive behavior. Not only will you drive others away from Jesus, but you will be found guilty of that heinous crime on judgment day. They are puffed up like a balloon.

Instead use the observations gained in a positive manner to lovingly enlighten those around you.

“Knowledge puffs up but love builds up”. 1 Corinthians 8:1(The Holy Bible, New International Version).

Prayer: Thank you El Deah (God of knowledge) for blessing me with enlightening me to Your light while refraining me from overindulging in knowledge while lacking in love. Thank you that Your guard me words so as to prevent me from suffering from foot in mouth disease. I extol You in the name of the supreme expert in these manners Jesus Christ. Amen

This is Why.

 

 Adam and Eve were created to not only have communion with Jehovah but to care for the garden. The other command Jehovah gave them was to pro create. Then God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply. Genesis 1:22 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

This is a major flaw in homosexuality, they cannot pro create. This is why homosexuality is wrong.

As well Jehovah created our bodies to operate in a certain manner. Homosexuality goes against that manner. When you go against Jehovahs design you suffer the consequences which in this case means sexual disease.This is why homosexuality is wrong.

Just this morning I read there is an epidemic of increase of sexual disease such as syphilis.

Is syphilis not a major disease among homosexuals, more so than aids?

Most times when we suffer the disease is not a curse from Jehovah but the result of our arrogant rebellion of His will. His will is intended for our own good but we refuse to obey. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Jehovah commands we live in a certain manner to stay mentally, physically and spiritually healthy.

The homosexual lifestyle rebels against Jehovah and arrogantly gives Him the finger. This is why homosexuality is wrong.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Rabbi (God our teacher) bless me with the wisdom, grace and self control to teach those who are stumbling to Hell in the darkness the righteous manner in which to respect both themselves and You by taking proper care of their bodies. May it guide them to Your light of truth that leads them to Heaven. I sincerely request this in the name of the best Teacher Jesus Christ. Amen

Ask Them If

 

He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him. Proverbs 13:24, New International Version

Now we need to understand this.

When children are young, they will push the limits to see what they can get away with.

First they must be warned such behavior is bad and explain why it is bad. Please do not just tell them it is bad or they must do it because you said so. Take the time to explain why they must do this or must not do that. It is even better when you share with them your personal experience so it makes it more real to them.

If they continue to push the envelope they must receive corporal punishment. One good swat will suffice most of the time or taking away a privilege like no mobile phone for a week.

Then sent to a quiet place to contemplate what they have done for about ten minutes. .

After that go sit down beside them. Hug them. Tell them you love them and it really hurt you to do what you had to do. Ask them if they understand. Usually they do. If they do, not try another way to explain it to them.

This is the method my mom used with us kids and I have used with children many times (being a teacher they were not my students but I loved them as if they were my own children). I speak from experience when I say they will love and respect you for it.

After that when they are naughty all I have to do is raise my voice in a firm controlled way to tell them to stop it and they instantly stop. Not out of fear, but rather out of love.

I Choose Not to Choose

 

P. T. Forsythe said, “The purpose of life is not to find your freedom. The purpose of life is to find your Master.”

Jesus is the best master

“He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3 New International Version

I choose not to choose my own path, but to follow the Holy Spirits guidance. Yes we should take it to God in prayer and honest Bible study before making a career choice.

This should be our Christian motto: “I choose not to choose.”

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure and full of quiet gentleness. Then it is peace-loving and courteous. It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; it is full of mercy and good deeds. It is wholehearted and straightforward and sincere” James 3:17 The Holy Bible King James Version

Take it to Jehovah for all of our life’s decisions. Whether it be a school to attend, a course to take a life mate or an investment.

“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass” (Psalms. 37:5).The Holy Bible King James Version

Whatever, I believe in doing as the Jews do. Before making any decisions always take it to Jehovah in prayer for three days. See what the results may be. You may not like them in the short run. But, over time it may be revealed to you just how horrible a mistake you could have made if you went with what you thought was right .

“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” (Psalm 25:9 The Holy Bible New International Version)

Independence is opening the door to allow satan into your life. We all know of course he is the master of destruction. Only a fool believes they are independent. They are easy prey for satan.

“All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own” (Isaiah 53:6a The Holy Bible New Living Translation).

We therefore, have two choices in life: 1) Choose to allow the loving Father to guide our choices or

2) Let the destroyer and torturer (satan) make the choice by tricking us into believing it is our own choice.

“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death” Proverbs 14:12 (The Holy Bible New International Version).

I choose to let Jehovah choose, it is the smartest choice I have ever made.Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah for blessing me with sending the Holy Spirit El Deah (God of knowledge) to guide me through out the challenging discourse of life.              May I always listen , understand and obey His wise guidance.                                      I exalt You and humbly request this in the name of He who is the wisest of all Jesus Christ. The Greatest Make Over

 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come 2 Corinthians 5:17 The Holy Bible, The New  Living Translation

How would you like the greatest make over?

When we give ourselves to Jesus He will slowly remove the old ugly you and create a new beautiful you.

Now this is not referring to making you into a super model.

No.

You will be created into a new beautiful saint.

Saint: one of God’s chosen and usually Christian people Webster’s Dictionary.

Now this will not happen over night. For some it will happen quickly, while for others it will take longer. But, the wonderful thing is that your transformation will be a work in progress until we reach Heaven. The Holy Spirit will be crushing and smashing the filth in us to be replaced by the heart and mind that is transforming into a oneness with Christ. Sometimes that will be painful. When we come out of the transformation though, we will be more beautiful than ever imagined.

Of course we will get our final beauty treatment when we get to Heaven and become transformed into Heavenly bodies.

Sound good?

Then why not give your heart to Jesus and join our Christian family.

“I advise you to obey only the Holy Spirit’s instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you won’t always be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to. For we naturally love to do evil things that are just the opposite from the things that the Holy Spirit tells us to do, and the good things we want to do when the Spirit has His way with us are just the opposite of our natural desires” (Galatians 5:16,17) The Holy Bible, New Living Testament.

Belonging to Jehovahs family is belonging enjoying the supreme love affair. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank You Jehovah-Bara (The Lord Creator) Isaiah 40:28 for sending the Holy Spirit to preform the difficult task of molding this sometimes challenging creation of Yours into the beautiful creation You intend for me to become. I praise You in the name of He whose blood is the catalyst for this amazing metamorphism Jesus Christ. Amen

You Want to See Some

“Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. ” Psalm 119:18 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation

You want to see some amazing things?

When you read the Bible God can reveal some pretty amazing things He has done.

And, you know what?

When you give your life to Him and trust Him He will do incredible things for you as well. It is team work though.

First you have to believe Him and trust Him.

Second you must read His instruction manual for your life. When He reveals something to you, write it down. Later after prayer, contemplate the special secrets He has shown you. I say secrets because He will only share them with men and women who trust Him.

Third again in trust you must trust Him and obey what He has advised you to do. I say advised because God NEVER tells you to do anything. He respects your free will in your life.

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. ” Philippians 2:13 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation

Try reading the Bible every morning for a month and writing down the thoughts that come to you and take action on them. See how it affects your day to day decisions.

We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 2 Corinthians 2:12 The New International Version

Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. Proverbs 9:9 New International Version

Finally, remember your manners. Say thank you to our loving gracious God for all the wonderful gifts He has given us

I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises” (Psalm 34:1) The Holy Bible, Amplified Version.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah GELAH RAZ ( the God of the Revealer of Mysteries) for blessing me with Your amazing wisdom in such a manner that a simple child like I can understand it because my heart, mind and body is devoted to You. I praise You in the name of He who spoke confusing truth to those who were willingly ignorant Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.

How Great of an Ambassador are You?

 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors … We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20 New International Version

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15 New International Version

Do you know you are Gods ambassador?

When people know you are a Christian they will judge Christianity by you actions and words. Just as you are an ambassador for your country when you travel abroad, so to are you Jesus’ ambassador your every waking moment.

You are Christs ambassador. Live like one. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The Simple Easy Way to Riches

 How would you like to be rich and contented?

How would you like to have a fulfilling life?

How do you attain this you ask?

Begin with assessing your heart.

Are you so caught up in the “Keeping up with the Jones” you do not have time to enjoy what you have?

Is your pursuit of money and all its trapping enslaving you to the point where you neglect your service to God and spending quality time with your family.

Remember the Cat Stevens song “Cats in the cradle and the silver spoon”? The father was so busy he neglected his son. Then when he was old and retired his son didn’t have time to spend with his child. That’s when he realized his mistake and understood he should have spent time with his family. Try spending quality time with your wife (or husband every day), time with your children every day.

Get involved with community work. I loved my time volunteering at a local hospital and still cherish it even now, thirty years later.

Don’t forget “It is better to receive than to get.”

When you give of your time and effort you become rich in the heart. That is when God will shower you with His wonderful blessings.

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:14 New Living Bible

Do you love to go shopping?

Do you have to have the latest clothing (even though after you buy it a lot of times it looks weird and you wouldn’t wear it for a Halloween costume)?

Do you have to have the latest toys to be happy?

You know, I remember before Christmas (which is “supposed” to be all about giving) being constantly bombarded by commercials on TV about how happy we would be if we had to have the latest toy. Of course on Christmas Day after gleefully playing with the toys for a while we became bored with them and they sat there gathering dust. Then what?

Remember in the seventies when everyone had to have a pet rock and you paid all that money to have one?

How much do you play with it today? (Yes kids, many of your parents were that stupid to buy a “pet rock”)

Do you have to go out and buy more to be happy?

What a never ending stupid circle of emptiness. You are a dead man walking. Sure your body is alive, but there is a huge emptiness in your heart, for all intense purposes your heart is dead. Welcome to the world of consumerism. Isn’t it fun?

1 Timothy 5:6: “She that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.” The American Standard Bible .

The most miserable people I have met are the ones that have all the toys. The most happy and contented ones are the ones that are rich in their hearts. Which one do you choose?

Be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. 1 Samuel 12:24 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.2 Corinthians 9:11 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Our gracious and loving God please fill my heart and mind with the most important treasure of all, knowing Your awesome love and having You in my life. As I am filled with Your glorious riches please help me become even more richer. Guide me on where and how to share Your Magnificent love with others. Are You Ready for Your

 

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.  For you will be treated as you treat others.The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. Matthew 7:1-2 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation 

Yes it is your duty to point out others weaknesses and faults but not the right to be judge and jury. You are to help them in their weakness and ignorance with love and compassion not hard heartedness . 

Do you believe you have the right to be judge and jury over others?

If you hold grudges or attempt to take revenge, your own failure is certain. I know, I used to take great pleasure in tormenting anyone who crossed me. But in the end it always boomeranged on me. 

Do you have a self appointed critic attitude?

Do you want to get back on me with a vengeance?

Soon you will be angry with everyone and be very lonely and bitter. Holding grudges is like swallowing acid to punish others. Ir will soon slowly, painfully destroy you.

Are you self righteous?

Do you believe you are better than anyone else?

If you are proud and find pleasure when others fail there will come a time when YOU fail and everyone will laugh at you. . You will be humbled.

Do you believe you are self sufficient taking credit for what God has given you?

If you think you are secure in your possessions and abilities, your situation is sure to change.

At one time in my life I had a good job, lots of money and lived the good life. Without warning the factory closed, my money depleted so bad I had to walk knee deep in snow to collect pop bottles and beer bottles to get enough money to buy a loaf of bread and jar of honey. That is what I lived off of for a week. Thankfully that situation only lasted for a few months I could not pay the hydro so being cut off there was no heat in the house. It was warmer outside than in that house. It was the lowest point of my life and still is branded in my mind.

So do not be egotistic and think you are so high and mighty, that you are secure in your riches. You WILL be brought down in the blink of an eye.

Prayer: Jehovah our gracious God. Thank you for the numerous blessing You have so freely blessed us with.                                      Please guard my heart that it does not become arrogant and take credit for the blessing You gracefully give us.                                   Please bless me not to be judge and jury but rather someone who comes along side the ignorant and help them eliminate their wrong manner of behavior.                                                                   In the name of the One who never judged the adulteress woman Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Who May Ascend

Who may ascend onto the mountain of the Lord?
And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to what is false, Nor has sworn [oaths] deceitfully. Psalm 24:3-4 The  Holy Bible Amplified Version                         

The mountain was the meeting place with Jehovah.

If we desire an intimate relationship with Him, when we come to Him in prayer it is necessary for us to not be worshiping anything or anyone else other that Him.

We need to have integrity in our lives. It is necessary that our hands are clean. That is, that we have dealt honestly with everyone and not been deceitful.

Our hearts are to be pure. That means that we are not thinking about fleshly lust or revenge or being arrogant towards others.

To lift up our soul falsely means that we are not to gossip (which is spreading lies about others and spreading rumors, which can hurt or destroy others) and are not to give false testimony about others which will hurt them in court or in relationships.

To swear an oath in deceit means that we make promises that we have no intention of keeping. That is a form of lying.

All of these things are detestable to Jehovah.

What right do you have to come to the temple of Jehovah when you are practicing the rituals of satan? Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for teaching me and helping me to be righteous enough to enter into You most Holy Tabernacle (we have our own which is a great story). I love spending time with You more than anything else in this world and look forward to spending eternity with You. Thank you for convicting me of any offenses and the proper manner in which to repent of them. I praise You in the name of He whose blood opened the door to our Tabernacle Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.
