Even Though We Cannot See It.

 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

The wonderful thing about being a Christian is that when we are tired and being at the point of throwing up our hands and giving up, the Holy Spirit comes along and blesses us with Divine strength to continue on.

When looking back on my previous troubles, most looked so huge they were going to overwhelm me but through the Holy Spirits help they were solved and they were no where near as they looked at the time.

In going through these troubles we produce glory for Jehovah for His deliverance. Folks see us and think that is it for us and Jehovah rises us from the ashes of defeat to the glory of victory only through His providence. That leaves those in the world completely confused.

We look where we cannot see. We look for Heaven and believe that is our eternal home even though we cannot see it. When we trust Jesus at His word and look forward to a wonderful Heavenly home He has prepared for us and our troubles look so small and insignificant. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful 1 John 1:9, 2 Thessalonians 3:3 ) for being so faithful so as to never leave me nor forsake me. That my life is in Your strong, gentle hands at all times. In reflection I see with You by my side those big problems with nit so big after all. I thank you in the name of He who reassured His disciples during some pretty tough times, Jesus Christ. Amen

You are Mine.

 

I have called you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

There are two important facts in this verse.

The first one states that Jehovah calls out to you. No one “finds Jesus” as if it were some effort on their own. Jesus comes to you. Do not be arrogant and take credit for something you did not do. Instead, be eternally grateful every day. Thank Jehovah and Jesus for coming to you, bringing you out of darkness and into their brilliant light of love.

Second: We all belong to something. Perhaps, it is a sports team or a type of music or whatever it may be, there is always something that owns our heart.

For me, Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit own my mind, body and spirit. And, I cannot think of anyone or anything that is more loving and caring than them. It is a great comfort and encouragement knowing that I belong to them.

We are adopted into the most royal family of all. That makes us sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father Jehovah. What an awesome reality. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer : Thank you Jehovah Abba (God our Father) for calling out to me from the darkness to come into Your Divine light. Thank you for adopting me into Your Holy family and for the blessing of always being able to commune with my Poppa (You), my big brother (Jesus) and my amazing Guidance Councillor (the Holy Spirit). I exalt You fro these awesome gifts in the name of my big brother Jesus Christ. Amen

Even He Takes a Day Off

 For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Hebrews 4:10 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

Jehovah did not need to rest after completing creating the universe. Like every good father, He leads by example. So, if it was important enough for Jehovah to rest, do you not believe, it was important enough for you to rest?

As well, He gave Himself certain tasks to be completed each day of creation. When the task was completed, He rested. Do you not believe that you should allow Him to dictate how much work you are going to complete in a day rather that your boss or yourself?

Jehovah is a busy God. He is holding the universe together, helping His children and preparing a Heavenly home for us. Yet, even He takes a day off to rest (to lead by example the need for rest, not that He needs one). Joseph a son of Jehovah                     

Are we too busy to take a rest?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Reliqua autem Deus (God of rest) for blessing me with a special day to rest. It refreshes my body, mind and spirit. I praise You in the name of He whom I love to share that day of rest with Jesus Christ. Amen

You Faithfully Answer.

 You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas. Psalm 65:5 New Living Translation Bible

Prayer is the sweetest conversation freely available to all who belong in Jehovahs family. He always answers.

Many times He answers in mysterious ways that we do not understand until the proper time of revelation (He has done that with me oh so many times).

Many times while conversing with Him, He will guide to verse after verse in the Bible to make sure there is no doubt about what He is saying and blessing us with a clear vision of what His advice is.

There has been so many times when in times of extreme stress in prayer He has blessed me with peace, comfort and assurance. Far better than anything the world has to offer.

When confused about the road to travel or the action to take, He always blesses with advice in His Holy Guidebook (the Bible) on the proper course of action to take or where to go to find a Godly mentor to assist us in the proper course of action to take.

There has been so many times when exhaustion has sapped every molecule of energy from the soul and it feels like sinking into the abyss that in prayer He strengthens the spirit to explode into action with Divine strength.

Why would anyone go to anyone or anything other than the ultimate caregiver, Jehovah? They cannot even begin to compare with Him.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pyyrand (Jesus my best friend) for the honour of always being able to talk with You. It is the one of greatest gifts You have freely abundantly given me. It is the best part of my day. I rejoice in this treasure in Your beautiful name. Amen

It Has Robbed Them Of

Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many. Hebrews 12:15 New Living Translation Bible

I have seen hatred and bitterness age many before their time. It has robbed them of the joy of life, it has robbed them of peace of mind. It has robbed them of contentment in life. It seems to me that bitterness is one of the biggest thief of all, yet so many worship it in their daily lives.

Bitterness always starts out small like a peppermint seed, yet if you allow it to take root it slowly chokes out all the vegetation around it.

I know some folks that have held grudge over small insignificant acts for over sixty years. It has spread to every aspect of their once vibrant life so bad that if they ever smiled it would crack their face. It is very pitiful to see. Many times the ones they are bitter towards are either dead or have moved away and know nothing of the hatred towards them. Many of the folks were big and strong but this vile disease has sucked the vitality out of their bodies as well as their minds and spirits. Now they are empty, pitiful, angry folks that have allowed this disease to destroy their lives. “

We cannot live with bitterness because it will first manifest itself in our spirit, then in our emotions, and finally in our bodies.” — Tom Drout

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rapha (God my healer) for generously applying Your Divine healing balm which purged the vileness of bitterness from my heart. I adore You in the name of He who was and is the greatest healer of them all, Jesus Christ. Amen

Close To the Brokenhearted.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin). Psalms 34:18 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When you have lost a loved one through death or divorce or because they have left the nest, your heart is crushed and your heart is broken, why not take it to Jesus?

When walking amongst us did not His family divorce itself from Him and did He not experience broken heartedness when one of His loved ones died? Did He not suffer separation from our beloved Father on the cross?

I have lost many loved ones and He was there to comfort me as no one else could or would.

When you lose your job or home why not take it to Jesus?

Did He not experience homelessness? Didn’t he and His disciple sleep in the wilderness where there was bandits, scorpions and many man eating predators?

I have been homeless and living in a tent surrounded by bears. It was taking security that

I went to sleep with no concern of being attacked while sleeping

Did He not lose His job as a carpenters son (He did not go right from being a carpenters son to His ministry.)?

There have been many times when, through no fault of my own, I was released from a company (usually because they went bankrupt) that I believed I would be at for all of my working years. It was He picked me up when I felt like giving up and going out and pounding the pavement and or upgrading my skills and getting another place to work. For those of us over fifty that are considered unhirable why not ask Jesus how you can be blessed with self employment?

When you are crushed and brokenhearted because of illness, didn’t Jesus experience the pain of whipping and beating in His body and the agony of hanging on the cross? I was a sickly boy with very bad asthma and water on the knee. It was only in reading the Bible and talking with my beloved Jesus that a lot of that pain was endured and I felt His presence the closest to me.

So will He not be close to you and heal you spiritually when you experience these things (He may not heal your relationships or get your job or home back or heal your illness but will He not as a loving Savior be close to you and heal your spirit)?

Indeed may these not be viewed as a burden but rather as a blessing?

That Which is Not

“Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, And your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight in abundance. Isaiah 55:1-7 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Jesus is the bread of life.

Why do you waste your time and money on things that bring no lasting satisfaction to your life? Indeed, how many have gone into debt (becoming slaves to their masters, the banks, in a feeble attempt to satisfy their fleshly desires)?

We need to devour the word of Jehovah like a starving man a smorgasbord every day. It is good for our bodies, minds and spirits. Jehovah joyfully supplies this feast in abundance to all who ask of Him.

Where can you find this smorgasbord?

Why your Bible of course. It has a feast of wisdom, dainties of joy, strength for those who are weak, healing medicine for those suffering heart ache and soothing comfort for those going though rough times. It is truly the best meal you can consume every day.

Consuming a daily meal of Jehovahs word is the most nutritious and best meal of the day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah RAB (Jehovah our Nourisher ) for blessing me with the most delicious, nutritious meal there could ever be (the Bible). True Faith Produces A.

For just as the [human] body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead. James 2:26 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

If you have faith in Christ prove it.

When we accept His gracious offer to be members of His family that does not mean we are to sit on our hands and await His return. We are free will servants.

As such, He has specific chores for us to do. Many times they do not make sense at the time. That is where having faith (which means trust) in our King must take place. He begins with little steps and gradually urges us on to bigger and bigger ones. This is not a one off event but rather a daily one. Have faith in Christ and be a part of an amazing journey like you could never conceive.

Boy What an Answer.

This morning has begun early, waking up at one a.m. After suffering through a night of night sweats and weird dreams. I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms from cigarettes. I thanked my Beloved for them because I knew that these must occur when the poison is being eliminated from the body, having confidence that this time He will help see me through this to a successful conclusion. The very first morning devotional had these verses in them Psalm 46:10 (New International Version)
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Isaiah 43:2 (VOICE)
When you face stormy seas I will be there with you with endurance and calm; you will not be engulfed in raging rivers. If it seems like you’re walking through fire with flames licking at your limbs, keep going; you won’t be burned.

Psalm 62:5-6 New Living Testament)
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.

The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

There is No Half Way

How long are you going to waver between two opinions? If Jehovah is God, follow Him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!” 1 Kings 18:21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Christ will not accept anything but total worship, there is no half way with Him. Either dedicate your life totally to Him or do not waste your time because He only accepts all of your devotion.

There are many Baals in life that are thieves and steal worship that only belongs to Jesus in many Christians lives.

Many worship sensuality,it pollutes in movies, music and on TV. They change bed partners more than they change their underwear. What is the end of this destructive god you worship? You will not get to pick your poison, syphilis, gonorrhea or aids but you do get to accept in full the reward of following this harlot all the way to Hell.

Many worship worldly pleasures like mobile phones, fancy clothes, expensive cars, and houses they cannot afford, which means they become slaves to the bank to attain these dead gods. Go ahead fool, look at these gods and say: “I love you.” and see what their reply is.

Many sacrifice their souls on the alter of material wealth. They slave away for that extra dollar because they want to depend upon this useless god to take care of them in luxury. Where are they when you have sacrificed your mind, body and spirit to them and they are taken from you like dainty snow under the blistering heat of the noon day sun.

Many treat the scriptures like dung and worship faulty worldly knowledge over Jehovahs supreme pure Divine wisdom. They mock it, call it absurd and foolishly laugh at it. Jehovah has the last laugh as His word confuses you and you realize that those who profess to be so wise are actually nit wits.

Many worship creation (putting animals on equal ground as humans. How many foolishly call infant animals babies and treat them as a child and have more devotion towards them than they do their fellow man or woman?). Oh how they wail when they have to put their gods down because of old age or disease. When you become sick or in need of help to pay your bills where are they to help you?

How many absurdly call it mother nature instead of Jehovahs creation? Can mother nature bring you rain in season, sun in season or snow in season? Yes, I have prayed for rain and the prayer was answered in the affirmative. The weather forecast indicated that mother nature was going to bring us a hot sunny day. Whose god was more reliable?

These are all idols

Jehovah refuses to play second fiddle to any of them.

“Their hearts were devoted to their idols!” Ezekiel 20:16 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

There is only one idol in my life and to which I dedicate my life to. His name is Jesus. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Unto You and You alone do I swear my utmost alligence to Jehovah Eli (Lord my God). There is none equal to You much less supreme to You in my life. You are indeed the most cherished of all the treasures in my life. Thank you for this esteemed privilege in the name of He with whom I adore as much as I do You, Jesus Christ. Amen.
