Close To the Brokenhearted.

SPIRITUAL STRENGTH

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin). Psalms 34:18 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When you have lost a loved one through death or divorce or because they have left the nest, your heart is crushed and your heart is broken, why not take it to Jesus?

When walking amongst us did not His family divorce itself from Him and did He not experience broken heartedness when one of His loved ones died? Did He not suffer separation from our beloved Father on the cross?

I have lost many loved ones and He was there to comfort me as no one else could or would.

When you lose your job or home why not take it to Jesus?

Did He not experience homelessness? Didn’t he and His disciple sleep in the wilderness where there was bandits, scorpions and many man eating predators?

I have been homeless and living in a tent surrounded by bears. It was taking security that

I went to sleep with no concern of being attacked while sleeping

Did He not lose His job as a carpenters son (He did not go right from being a carpenters son to His ministry.)?

There have been many times when, through no fault of my own, I was released from a company (usually because they went bankrupt) that I believed I would be at for all of my working years. It was He picked me up when I felt like giving up and going out and pounding the pavement and or upgrading my skills and getting another place to work. For those of us over fifty that are considered unhirable why not ask Jesus how you can be blessed with self employment?

When you are crushed and brokenhearted because of illness, didn’t Jesus experience the pain of whipping and beating in His body and the agony of hanging on the cross? I was a sickly boy with very bad asthma and water on the knee. It was only in reading the Bible and talking with my beloved Jesus that a lot of that pain was endured and I felt His presence the closest to me.

So will He not be close to you and heal you spiritually when you experience these things (He may not heal your relationships or get your job or home back or heal your illness but will He not as a loving Savior be close to you and heal your spirit)?

Indeed may these not be viewed as a burden but rather as a blessing?

It is in our hard times that we are the closest to Jesus. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shammah (God is present ) for Your life giving presence with me through my oh so many trials and tribulations. If You were not there I do not believe I would have lived through oh so many of them. I give thanks for this wonderful loving care through Your son who experienced everything I have and so much more Jesus Christ. Amen.

May Jehovahs sweet love envelope you today a and every day.

Did They Not Have Every Right To

trust in God

Jesus said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith and confidence [in Me]?” Mark 4:40 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

The boat was sinking during a terrible storm. The disciples, who were experienced fishermen believed they were going to die. Did they not have every right to be concerned?

No, they did not.

When Jesus asked the disciples do you still, this implies that they had plenty of experience with Jesus during disasters.

Have they not learned their lessons yet?

Before you are harsh on them, reflect back on your own life. When you were a baby Christian with little experience, you were expected to have little faith and trust, however, as you mature in your walk with Christ your faith is expected to become stronger.

For me, whenever disaster comes my way the initial reaction is panic. It is quickly followed by crying out unto Jehovah. Then their is reflection upon His past deliverance and a thankful prayer saying with confidence I know it is in Your hands Father and I know You will help me. Thank You.

Then their is calm reassurance during the wicked storms.

We are expected to call out unto Jehovah but we are also expected to have trust in His deliverance. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shammah ( The Lord is Present) for always being present in my life.

Please expand my trust in You in every trial and tribulation You are right there walking through them with me.

Please remind me of Your past deliverance to reassure me of Your present one.

I praise You and sincerely request this in the name of He who always walked and continuously walks with You now my glorious best friend Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The Power to Overcome.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The closer we walk with Christ the more the devil will attack us to destroy our loving relationship with Christ. He knows he is going to Hell and wants all the company he can get. Besides, the devil is proud so it irks him to no end to see the righteous worshiping Christ instead of him. Do not worry, Christ defeated satan on the cross and on resurrection day. He is strong enough to help you defeat the wimp satan.

Then there is society.

In todays world the motto is: if it feel s good do it. In the Christian world it says if we love others first we will be filled with love and joy. This convicts those in the world and they will viciously attack us. Do not worry Christ will fill our hearts with peace which will infuriate the world ever more.

The world says: If you just try hard enough you can do whatever you want to do. Christ says we are made to serve Him and allow Him to make the choices in our lives. This convicts the world and so they hate us and cruelly attack us. Do not worry, our Heavenly warrior King provided the tools to defeat them.

On our earthly journey we will always find stiff resistance but God blesses us with the power to overcome. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Hoshe’ah ( The Lord Saves ) for blessing me with Your awesome strength, wisdom, provision and protection against the weakling satan and from the superficial attacks by those stumbling about in the dark world.

I extol Thee in the name of He who is the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The Things We Try to Avoid.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33 Holy Bible Amplified Version

No body enjoys trials and tribulations. They seem so overwhelming yet it is at this exact time that we are brought all the closer to Christ.

As we mature more and more in Christ, although we do not seek out these unpleasant experiences we have confidence that Christ is right there in the storms riding it out with us.

An added benefit is that it is through these experiences that we draw closer to Him than any other method.

Another benefit is that it is these challenging experiences that He teaches us the most. The end result is a closeness unto Him that can be accomplished in no other manner. On the other side of these we will praise Him for these experiences (I know I do every day).

Huge waves that would frighten an ordinary swimmer produce a tremendous thrill for the surfer who has ridden them. The things we try to avoid and fight against— tribulation, suffering, and persecution— are the very things that produce abundant joy in us.  A saint doesn’t know the joy of the Lord in spite of tribulation, but because of it Oswald Chambers

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shammah ( The Lord is Present) for always being present during every storm in my life, I would never have been able to make it through them without You. Thank you for teaching me so much during the storm. I thank you in the name of He who calmed the storm for His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Do Not Doubt My.

I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. John 15:9 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

All of us who have walked the Christian walk have from time to time faced uncertainty whether Jesus loved us or even if He was real. As we mature we grow more and more assured of it.

Many times we go through intense trails and tribulations, sorrows and times of famine. We wonder whether Jesus has deserted us, whether we have angered Him and cry out to Him.

We are met with silence.

Or, so it seems.

When these events have passed and we reflect upon them we can see Jesus’ firm but gentle hand guiding us through them as well as providing provision during them.

It has occurred to me on numerous occasions and only caused my faith in Him to grow stronger and stronger.

“As sure as God puts His children in the furnace he will be in the furnace with them. Charles H Spurgeon

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for blessing me with a Divine love which none other can compare. Thank you that You will never leave me nor desert me even when many times it seems as if You are absent from me. I praise You in the name of my ever present best friend Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Cannot be Perfected Without Adversity.

We all suffer through trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares.

The difference is that those of us in Jehovahs family is there to comfort us, encourage us, heal us and guide us through them.

Those of the world depend upon their own faulty understanding, power and logic and or that of so called professionals to no avail. They suffer far greater.

The closer we get to Christ, the more we are going to suffer. The more we suffer, the closer we get to Christ. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Many times when we are enduring hard times and we call out to Jehovah it seems as if there is no answer. Do not be discouraged. He loves you and will not ever desert you.

When you reflect back on it you will see Jehovah burning off the dross (the bad dispositions in you) and teaching you.

This fills me with awe and amazing joy, love and respect that I have such an amazing God, it will you as well.

Of course there is going to be a battle between you and satan.

He sees you getting close to Christ and he is infuriated. He will show no mercy in his attacks to destroy this incredible loving relationship.

Sometimes Jehovah will allow you to fight your own battles and each time you do your warrior skills against this filth will be enlarged. You will sing for joy unto Jehovah in your victory. Think of Job at the end of his suffering. This will bring you closer to our Warrior King.

Other times the battle is too strong for you and the Holy Spirit will come  to rescue  you. Again your relationship with Christ will be closer than before.

“A gem cannot be polished without friction; the child of God cannot be perfected without adversity.” — Author Unknown

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator) for using adversity to polish off the dross in my life so that I am a beautiful jewel in Your eyes and in Your heart. I extol Thee in the name of the most precious jewel of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

We Must Be Prepared to Give It All Up.

SERVE THE LORD

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. Matthew 19:29 New King James Version

Just as Christ gave up everything for us so too must we be willing to give up all for Him.

Think of it like this: you are living in a mansion with servants and living a fantastic life.

Would you voluntarily surrender that to live with the poor in filthy slums?

On top of that you know that many people will make fun of you, torture you and ultimately force you to die a painful humiliating death?

That is what Jesus did for us in leaving His mansion in Heaven to live amongst us.

He was made fun of, was tortured and died a humiliating and painful death so that we would have the privilege of enjoying our mansion in Heaven.

So when Christ calls you to give up a comfortable life to serve Him are you going to whine about it or thank Him for the privilege of serving such a magnificent and loving King?

In my service to Him I have been called to live in very difficult circumstances and it only developed a deeper and closer relationship with Him. When I reflect on the past thirty years of suffering it is impossible to do without thinking of the wonderful closeness I was blessed with, with our King and am in great gratitude for Him for it.

And whenever you are experiencing your tribulation and sorrow (and you will experience tribulation) just remember what Jesus experienced for you.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Adonai (The Lord is sovereign) help me to surrender my life completely to Your sovereign will. I know You know what is best for me and how best to serve You. I humbly beseech You in the name of he who gave up His heavenly throne for us Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Who Are You to Question?

Image

‘Who do you think you are to question God? Does the clay have the right to ask the potter why he shaped it the way he did?’” Romans 9:20New King James Version

Some Christians are of the belief that we have no right to question Jehovah.

Nothing is further from the truth. Jehovah does not want robots that automatically obey Him. He gave us free will and thought. As such we have every right to question Him.

Look it up in your Bible.

Did not \Abraham question Jehovah about having a son? Did not Moses question Jehovah at the burning bush?

However, when we arrogantly put ourselves above Jehovah and question why say we have a disease that is life threatening or lose a contract unrepentantly or get divorced and He does not answer us then blame Him that is when it is wrong.

Anyone that has been a Christian long enough has gone through this experience.

With me it was the long torturous death from cancer of someone very close to me. It almost caused me to walk away from my most important love.

Some things we just have to accept because the world is a fallen world and those things happen. It is hard but with the help of the Holy \Spirit and sometimes we will need good Christian councilor we will recover from these wounds.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) bless me to be as faithful to You as You are to me. Even when, those times of trial, tribulation and sorrow  envelope me and seem to crush me yet You are silent. I humbly entreat You in the name of He who never questioned Your will Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

The Difference Between the Seal and the Trumpet.

“These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Revelation 7:14 New King James Version

Image

This specifically states that Christians will not be subject to the great tribulation.

It only makes sense.

Noah did not endure the flood, Lot did not endure the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the ones who listened did not endure the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians nor the Romans.

Then why should he Christians endure the great tribulation?

Now some people ask :”What about where Jesus says the Gospel will be spread to all the ends of the earth?”

That is answered in Revelation 14:6-7

Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—  saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” Revelation 14:6-7 New King James Version

Does it not state that there are those who are waiting for vengeance with the seal being opened in Revelations 6:9-11.

After the trumpets sound then the men and women will be given one last chance with the angles proclamation.

If they still refuse then comes the great tribulation.

Prayer: Please oh merciful Jehovah KaEl (voice of God) open the ears, minds and hearts of all to hear and obey the message so as to avoid the great tribulation and damnation. I earnestly request this in the name of He who warned His disciples about the destruction of Jerusalem to save them Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Here Are the Two Keys.

Here is the first keyconcerning the rapture and those who come after it: “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation Revelation 7:14 New International Version

A gentle loving caress

The two important words

In the Old Testament Noah and his family entered into the ark to be brought out of the flood that destroyed the world. Lot and his family where brought out of Sodom before it was destroyed. The Israelites who came out of Jerusalem did not suffer the fate of those who stayed when the Babylonians destroyed it .

So if the tribulation is to be punishment for those who reject Christ does it not make sense we are to be brought out of the tribulation?

Now some people point to the sheaves in Revelation fourteen. If the Christians have been raptured then how will the people hear the word of Christ and accept Him?

Here is the second key to unlock the mystery:  I believe that God will send angels to proclaim Jesus to give the people one last
chance.
Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. ”
Revelation 14:6-7 New International Version

Prayer: Jesus Immanuel (God amongst us) I, with deepest anticipation, look forward to enjoying Your loving companionship in eternity that our beloved Father has so generously prepared for us in advance. I thank you for this wonderful privilege in Your loving name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
