Giving to Me Through

For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors.1 Peter 1:18-19 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation.

We all have them, less than desirable traits that we inherit from our biological family. They are both physical and mental.

Once we become a member of Christs royal family, the Holy Spirit slowly burns off these impurities and refines us into precious jewels in Jehovahs family. It is not all accomplished at once but rather over a life time.

Some happen instantaneously by the power of the Holy Spirit. That is what happened to me when I was freed from alcoholism. Some take time and effort with the Holy Spirits help. That is what happened with me in being much more patient with difficult folks.

Some must be accomplished on a daily basis. That is what is done with my diet, exercise and sleep habits. Since following the Holy Spirits guidance I have lost thirty pounds and still have thirty to go.

We do not become our purest until we are in our Heavenly home. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bore (Isaiah 40:28 The LORD Creator ) for blessing me with purging me of the less than admirable attributes I was born with and creating in me desire Heavenly qualities that are pleasing to You, inspiring to others and life giving to me through the Holy Spirits quality workmanship. I exalt You in the name of He who has the most Divine characteristics of all, Jesus Christ. Amen

I love to share the events in my life where Jehovah, Jesus and they Holy Spirit have touched me. How can I not. They were life changing. Joseph a son of Jehovah

You Won’t Understand

Often people say to me “You just won’t understand.”
“You’re way too old,” or “Way too young,” or “YOU are NOT a man.”
I don’t know why some people feel they suffer unique pain.
As if they are the only ones who’ve lost or ceased to gain. I don’t know why they hide their pain and clutch it ever tighter.
It seems to me that all should know – a burden shared gets lighter.
Why some folks even deign to think the pain that’s in their heart,
Is all their own, to keep and hoard, they set themselves apart. They keep their eyes from meeting mine lest I should see their hurt.
And even if we stop and speak their words are often curt.
The Bible says: ‘Two’ can withstand what overcomes just ‘one’.
And also that – a ‘Cord of Three’ can scarcely be undone.

Besides, I know the ways of hurt – my heart’s been crushed before.
Friends have betrayed – I’ve lost at love, Despair’s knocked at my door.
And I Remember – thoughts gone wild – and crying late at night.
Not having strength to care at all – much less the strength to fight. But, someone special came to me – and when my trials were told. I realized that with their tears – they’d eased my heavy load. And so, I learned – that Pain – like Love – is bearable if shared. I don’t know what I would have done without that friend who cared.

My trials did not vanish fast – in fact the time was long. But sharing gave me breathing space until I could grow strong Enough to laugh again and even start to smile – And though it seemed it could not help – It eased my pain awhile. So, if you think that you can’t share cause I won’t understand. At least just give me half a chance to lend a helping hand. For I know that you’re hurting and I know a place to start. Perhaps if you could realize – your pain burns in my heart.

I know I cannot make your trials and troubles go away. But maybe I can help a bit to get you through today. And maybe by tomorrow you won’t need help anymore. But if you should – Don’t be ashamed – for that’s what friends are for.

And after all is said and done – the trials ceased – you’re whole. Perhaps you’ll know just what to do to help another soul – Who’s being crushed by hurt and pain – be it woman or a man. And you won’t have to hear them say, “You just won’t understand.”

Please bless me with the opportunity to walk along side someone this day as they are walking through their dark valley just as You walked with me through my many dark and terrible valleys. Calls Out to Us

Jesus went up on a mountain and called out the ones he wanted to go with him. And they came to him. Mark 3:13 The Holy Bible, New Living Testament

The other day I heard a couple calling out for their beloved little dog. They walked the whole neighborhood looking for it- I do not know if the found it.

Jehovah spoke to me about how He calls out to us when we are lost.

The difference is that the owners of the dog did not know where it was and exhaustively looked for it. Jehovah knows where we are and calls out to us to bring us into His or back into His family if we have strayed.

Some stubbornly refuse to heed the call to their own peril both in this life and in their eternal one.

Jesus is calling, are you prepared to answer the call? Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pyyrand (Jesus my best friend) for blessing me with calling out to me. It has blessed me with the most awesome friendship there could ever be. I exalt You in Your most fantastic name. Amen

I was Convicted

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14 The Holy Bible, New Living Testament

Recently I was convicted while reading a morning devotional. The Holy Spirit convicted me that the words of my mouth did not match the meditation of my heart. Someone was terribly abusive to me and I said some very unchristian words in anger and frustration (the abuser did not care that her actions caused me great physical pain).

I promptly repented and even though she is still abusive my meditations with my Beloved are in love again.

It does not matter how much anyone is physically and or mentally abusive to me. All that matters is my loving obedient relationship with my Heavenly Beloved. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Heseh (God is love) bless me to always keep my focus on our loving relationship no matter how abusive those around me are. It is the anchor that hows me close to You in those horrible storms. I humbly request this in the name of He who calmed the violent storm on the seas for His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen

Who Would You go To

This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. Hebrews 4:15 The Holy Bible New Living Translation 

There is not one experience you are going through that Jesus has not been there, experienced that.

That is why Jesus is the BEST Guidance Councilor there is.

After all, who better to talk with about a problem than someone who has already walked that mile. As well, Jesus loves you, Jesus cares about You. Jesus only wants what is best for you. Who would you go to with a problem but someone like that.

I trust and obey Jesus’ guidance more than I do any man or womans. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) I Cor 1:30 for blessing me with Divine guidance in every aspect of my life. I praise You in the name of the best Guidance Councillor there is Jesus Christ. Amen

Here is the meaning of life

. Jehovah places a desire within you to serve Him in a specific manner. He sends the best Guidance Councillor there is to help us, The Holy Spirit. This is not just for teenagers but for everyone at every stage of life.

From a lot of personal experience I can tell you that it is going to be difficult, sometimes impossible to obey.

That is good because it teaches you to depend upon Him for the resources necessary to accomplish the task.

It is going to be painful but that is good because it helps you depend upon Him for the strength necessary to succeed at the task. Then end result of course is it draws you ever closer to Him in a loving obedient relationship.

Jesus is the only one that blesses me with meaning in life, both here and now and in eternity in our Heavenly home. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Rohi ( Jesus is our Divine Shepherd ) Psalm 23 for providing me with meaning in my life through Your Divine leading. I exalt You in Your glorious name. Amen

This is Why.

 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.[ They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Romans 1:18-20 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

This is why the world is so bent on teaching the lie of evolution. Because, otherwise they would have to admit there is a Supreme God who created everything. To admit that, they would have to worship Him.

Can any man or woman show me one species that has evolved into another in the last four hundred years? If it has not happened in that amount of time why would it happen before then?

It was funny when I was a tree planter and the young men and women who laughed at me for being a Christian would one day stop planting and have a dazed look on their faces. I knew Jehovah was revealing Himself to them through nature. I would yell over at them: “Hey, tell me again how there is no God.” They looked at me shocked. Later we talked about their experience and they confessed that only a Creator God could have created this world after what they saw. Most, however rejected what was revealed to them later on . That was sad but I knew to confess Jesus would mean they would have to confess their lifestyle of booze, sex and drug was wrong. That would mean they would have to change their lifestyle. Rather than reject a sinful lifestyle, they rejected Jesus.

Oh so very sad.

You can deny reality all you want but Jehovah is still there no matter how much you ignore or deny Him. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shammah ( The Lord is Present) – Hebrews 13:5 with blessing me with Your gracious presence in my life. It is such and honour and privilege. I praise You in the name of He who is also always with me Jesus Christ. Amen

There is No Longer Any

Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment Hebrews 10: 26-27 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

There are those that are either gullible or down right liars when they preach that when we accept Christ as our Savior we can live how ever we desire without any consequences. That is a big lie that only leads to Hell.

The thing to notice is these are deliberate sins which indicates that we know they are wrong yet continue to enjoy participating in them. It covers a whole range of issues such as gossiping, homosexuality, stealing, getting drunk (or stoned) and many other issues.

Now we all have weaknesses that are too strong for us to handle. That is why they must be laid at the feet of Christ.

BUT, once freed from them if you willingly go back to them you are no different than from those outside of Christs family. Once Christ frees us, only a fool returns to the Hell that He freed them from. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer : Thank you Jehovah Go’el (The Lord is my Redeemer) – Is. 49:26, 60:16 for paying a very high sacrifice to free me from my filthy sins.                                                                     Please send the Holy Spirit to convict me when I begin to stray because our loving relationship is the greatest treasure You have blessed me with and I do not want to destroy it by works of the flesh. In Your beautiful name I exalt You and beseech You. Amen

Never Existed Before.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version

Just think there is only one like you. You are an original. There was never anyone like you and never will be again.

So why do you try to fit in with the crowd?

I remember this really bad TV show that everyone was watching. When I asked my friends if they liked it, they confided in me that they thought the show was boring and crappy. When I asked them why they watched it their reply was always the same: because everybody else is.

Now God created you for a special purpose that only you can accomplish.

When you give your life over to Jesus that makes Him your king. As such the King has a special assignment just for you His servant.

To know what that is takes honest and sincere prayer.

He has always answered me in unusual ways. Sometimes it was with a small advertisement in a newspaper, sometimes it was a sermon, sometimes it was a talk with a friend.

When your calling is revealed it will sometimes be one that takes a leap of faith.

But know this, all calling are important or else Christ would not waste your time and His.

If your calling is to be a stay at home mother it is just as important as a missionary (stay at home mothers have a very important calling, molding the next generation of Jehovahs children).

If your calling is  to be a waitress or waiter the work you do is very important. Your attitude can change someones day and indeed their life.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) for blessing me with a special assignment to bring glory and honour to Your cherished name and for the wonderful opportunity to bring someone into Your sanctified family. I praise you in the name of He whose precious blood made it all possible Jesus Christ. Amen.

Rebelled Against the Command of the LORD.

“And the Lord said to me, ‘Tell them, “Do not go up nor fight, for I am not among you; lest you be defeated before your enemies.”  So I spoke to you; yet you would not listen, but rebelled against the command of the Lord, and presumptuously went up into the mountain. And the Amorites who dwelt in that mountain came out against you and chased you as bees do, and drove you back from Seir to Hormah.  Then you returned and wept before the Lord, but the Lord would not listen to your voice nor give ear to you. Deuteronomy 1:42-45 New King James Version

I remember one time when I was looking for a contract at the beginning of the tree planting season. I felt the Lord telling me to go south but I wanted to go north.

I stubbornly refused to obey His command and went north because I had an exhalent reputation there and thought getting a contract would be no problem. I could not beg, borrow or steal a contract.  I was homeless with no money and Jehovah was far from me.

Reluctantly I obeyed the Lord and went south where he wanted me to go in the first place.

The result was the best contract received in thirteen years of planting.

So many times we either think we know more than Jehovah or just stubbornly refuse to have faith in His guidance.

The ultimate result is disaster.

Sometimes when we cry out the Lord refuses to listen to us to teach us the hard way to listen and obey or pay a very high price.

Prayer: Please forgive this sometimes stubborn and obstinate child of Yours my believe Jehovah Yehew (God of His people) for refusing to obey Your wise commands in my life. Even now my love after all these years of experience I can still be stiff necked. Thank you my endearing One for forgiving me and pressing down on me until I relent and become Your cherished obedient child again. I pray this in the name of He who never gave up His sometimes dense disciples Jesus Christ. Amen.
