CHRISTS STRENGTH

Speaking not only from my own experience but from listening to those  who are caring for their elder parents they receive nothing but continuous slaps in the face for their loving care. Then when many of the adult children are mentally and physically exhausted and put the parents into a seniors home the parents cry baby and try to blame the children all the while refusing to take responsibility for their own actions. Add to that that the care givers seldom receive any help from their siblings who are usually leeches. The only time they call the parent is when they want money from them.

It seems to me that the most ungrateful folks are the ones that need the help the most yet abuse those who are helping them. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Although this may seem like a curse it is in reality a blessing.

Because, it is in our hard times that we grow the closest to Jehovah and develop the deepest of love, respect and appreciation for Him. Here are some words of encouragement and strength from our loving, caring Father when we feel beaten down by the ungrateful abusive behaviour of those we are helping.

Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men. Colossians 3:23 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. Galatians 6:9 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

“God never made a promise that was too good to be true.” — Dwight L. Moody

Therefore, those who are ill-treated and suffer in accordance with the will of God must [continue to] do right and commit their souls [for safe-keeping] to the faithful Creator. 1 Peter 4:19 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

“Where God’s finger points, there God’s hand will make a way.”

Prayer: Oh Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) I cannot praise You enough for Your wonderful love, strength, provision, comfort, healing, wisdom and encouragement to continue on being obedient unto Your command; If a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God. 1 Timothy 5:4 Holy Bible, New International Version. Please comfort those who, because of the selfishness, brutish behaviour and contempt of their aged parents or grand parents towards the care givers they cannot endure the contemptuous behaviour any more and have to put them in a seniors home. Do not allow the wicked parents or grand parents to put a guilt trip on the adult children. It is their own fault they are where they are. I exalt You and humbly beseech You in the name of He who is loving and the Supreme Judge Jesus Christ. Amen

May Christ bless you with love, joy and peace today and every day.

As Christ is our King, so too are we His free will servants Joseph a son of Jehovah I have been a faithful servant of our Lord for the past forty years. He has led me to move from the farm to the city. It was there I learned natural medicine as well as to serve by doin volunteer work in a hospital. This was preparing me for the next stage of growth and service unto Him. The next phase was to live in a tent in the western provinces of Canada planting trees. It has here in His marvelous creation of nature that He taught me so much of Himself while serving others in camp as a first aid attendant. If anybody got sick or injured they always came to me. As well, I learned to be a big brother and care about their mental health and for most, it was the first time they were ever loved. This caring for others prepared me for the next step which was to be a teacher all over China. Here not only did my example guide many to our Heavenly King but also taught me how to deal with narcissist. This prepared me to come home to take care of a narcissistic mother while dealing with narcissist family members. It was in China that the Lord also guided me to become a Christian writer which has been faithfully done for the past ten years. I know not what will happen tomorrow but I know who holds tomorrow in His hands and it is Him I place my total confidence and trust in. Joseph a son of Jehovah

  1. I pray for you Joseph…I know just how hard it is to do what you do! GOD BLESS YOU!

    • Thank you.
I need all the prayers I can get.
Is there anything you would like me to pray for you?

      • I would ask that you pray for those who believe they are wise and are foolish…those who believe they have oil are but whose lamps are empty…God Bless you Joseph and thank you!

      • In other words you would like me to pray for my family because that is exactly the way they are. lol
        You are welcome.
Jehovah bless you with Divine wisdom and the opportunity to put that wisdom into practice. (many have wisdom but few do anything with it Joseph a son of Jehovah)

  2. I would never be able to do what you do.
I admire you for your strength, for your kindness and for your love.
Unlike many of us, you don’t refuse to do it or complain about it all the time, but instead, you do what THE LORD told us to do and take up your cross.
    Daily.
And most likely even at night.
We see you and all the good you do!
And I am certain that OUR FATHER sees what you are doing and that HE sees your servant heart and that HE knows how great and hard your constant sacrifice truly IS – none of us can really know, but HE knows.
I know that HE will reward you abundantly and give you the crown you deserve in due time.
GOD bless you my brother, you are an inspiration for us who don’t have the power, the faith and the guts to do what you do every day.
May all you give return to you 1000fold in JESUS’ name!

    • Thank you precious sister.
I am not alone though, almost all adult children that care for their elderly parents experience the same as I.
I am sure Jehovah shall reward me ten times more than I give.
Besides it is in our hard times we draw closest to Christ so us Christian adult children care givers are extremely close with Jesus which is a blessing.

  3. I love that your heart sees past the negative and you rely on Jesus to carry you through. I hope you have time for some self care of your own.

    • Thank you.
I have a big tent and that is my sanctuary. Here I listen to Jehovahs orchestra (the birds singing in harmony with the crickets and frogs). As well He is here with His gentle calming and encouragement wrapped up in love.
Sometimes I go for a bike ride on one of the nature trails (here we have many trails that go along abandoned railway tracks into nature and through farmers fields and along quiet rivers. I like to stop and talk with the farmers. When it is harvest time after they have harvested their crops of potatoes, sweet potatoes and pumpkins they let me go into the fields and harvest what I like. I share with low income working class families and seniors on limited fixed incomes. The same as for blueberry, and cherry orchards). There are places along the river or on the edge of farmers fields that I sit and rest. My Beloved and I speak with each other. Me verbally, Him, most times through Bible verses. He blesses me with strength to go on.

  4. I know how hard this is. I don’t say this lightly or in passing, but know exactly what this is.

His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

It is a bittersweet season. One of breaking but also Him building you up and you drawing close to Him.

  5. 6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 1 … I would post whole chapter but it’s too long.
