Oh Father, it is so frustrating to watch our elderly loved ones condemn themselves to constant injury because they are are stubborn and stupid (which is, may I add, selfish).
Now that they are old and their bodies frail their injuries are so much more serious when they commit these offences against their bodies. It causes untold pain and discomfort to them and makes my caring for them even more demanding.
Please send the Holy Spirit to sternly warn them to prevent these incidents from constantly recurring.
I know a certain woman that is forbidden from eating certain foods. Some of these she used to love to eat. When ever she attempts to eat one of them she is warned it will make her sick. She stubbornly refuses to listen. In no more than one minute after taking her first bite, she is puking her eye balls out.
Sadly I see incident like this with almost all seniors I have come in contact with- unless, they are living in seniors homes.

We all have them.
Wars, yes they are cruel wars that inflict a lot of pain, torment and destruction in our lives. They are called addictions. Yes, there are the obvious ones like alcoholism, but there are also the ones like having constant negative thoughts.
There are the constant Worry Wort Willies that worry about everything and Negative Nellies that can always find something to complain about.
We know these addictions are wrong.
However, no matter how hard we try to stop doing them, we fall flat on our faces.
The only way to complete and total victory is to completely surrender them to Jesus. Then and only them will there be complete and total victory.

Our response for this amazing gift is total joy, gratitude and dedication to our Saviour.
I believe that is why Jehovah allows imperfections in us, to teach us what a wonderful, loving, caring and generous Father He is. That creates a loving heart in us towards Him. This is the object of Jehovah, to bless us with the most Heavenly of love affairs.

There are two important facts in this verse.
The first one states that Jehovah calls out to you. No one “finds Jesus” as if it were some effort on their own. Jesus comes to you. Do not be arrogant and take credit for something you did not do. Instead, be eternally grateful every day. Thank Jehovah and Jesus for coming to you, bringing you out of darkness and into their brilliant light of love.
Second: We all belong to something. Perhaps, it is a sports team or a type of music or whatever it may be, there is always something that owns our heart.
For me, Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit own my mind, body and spirit. And, I cannot think of anyone or anything that is more loving and caring than them. It is a great comfort and encouragement knowing that I belong to them.
We are adopted into the most royal family of all. That makes us sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father Jehovah. What an awesome reality. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Have you ever seen anyone that has been touched by Jehovah?
I have.
I have seen drunkards become sober and never touch a drop again. Everything else they attempted to smash the chains of their addiction failed miserably, especially the politically correct that says if you just try hard enough you will succeed. Only Christs power freed them from this horrible slavery. The same can be said of other addictions as well.
I have seen those who were selfish and self centered become very loving, sharing and caring children of Jehovah. Nothing but Christs love could accomplish such a feat.
I have seen shy timid folks become roaring lions for Christ with Divine power and and confidence that astounds those that knew them previously. Nothing but Jehovahs power could accomplish such an impossible feat.
I have seen those that cursed and mocked Jehovahs word now preach it with wisdom and authority that amazes those that knew them previously. Nothing but Jehovahs wisdom could succeed in this inconceivable marvel.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shammah ( The Lord is Present) for the numerous ways in which You have touched me in so many aspects of my life. From what I have seen being a live in care giver for my mom and a volunteer at a seniors home I would say they are going to have a feast.
So many of all ages gleefully throw their elderly or handicapped parents into a hell hole called a seniors home. I know most are very good at the level of care they provide but the living environment leaves much to be desired. I have seen many only come to visit when they want money and then treat their mother scornfully (to scorn means open dislike and disrespect or derisionoften mixed with indignation. To treat them with derision meansthe use of ridiculeto show contempt and contempt means a strong dislike. I have seen many children and grandchildren treat their mothers like they had the plague. And, indignation means to be angry. The children and grandchildren are angry because their mother is still alive because they want her money in their inheritance. To mock means to to treat with contempt or ridicule. I have seen many make fun of their fathers infirmity in their elder years.
I have seen children blackmail their parents “If you want me to come and help you, you have to pay me.” If you want me to bring the grandchildren over you have to give me money.” This is all disgusting in the eyes of the Lord and they shall pay severely.
Now granted many parents were abusive to their children but we are to forgive them, that does not mean we are not to hold them accountable. If they refuse to repent, which means admit what they did, admit it was wrong, apologize and stop doing it, then we are to have nothing to do with them. If reconciliation is not important to them then it should not be important to us.
However to abuse them when they are in need is just as wrong in Jehovahs eyes.
That does not mean ravens will actually pluck out their eyes but that they will pay for their abhorrent behavior.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Abba (God our Father) just as you lovingly care for me instill in my heart a desire and will to be respectful, loving and caring to my parent so as to bring glory to You. I humbly request this in the name of Your most loving, respectful son Jesus Christ. Amen

Too many times today I hear elderly parents cry that their children and grandchildren have deserted them. The only time they call is when they want money. They are selfish, arrogant and ungrateful.
Who taught them that?
In Asia they are called Little Emperors and Little Empress’. Their mothers and grandmothers spoiled them rotten when they were children. Now they are lazy, arrogant, ungrateful and selfish. They have nothing to do with their parents and grandparents.
Instead of teaching their children love, respect, caring, sharing, and to be appreciative they taught them to whine until they got what they wanted. That they are so special, that happiness comes only from material things. Then they complain because their children grow up to be disrespectful, greedy, shallow, self centered materialistic brats who shun the parents and grandparents.
Most parents and grandparents spent lavishly on these brats while doing without for themselves.
Now they are poor and in need of help. Their children are cold and cold care less.
The parents and grandparents wail about their fate yet it was they themselves who created these monsters.
I was shocked when I returned to Canada from a ten year hiatus of teaching in China to see with disgust the same scenario repeatedly occurring here.
Being a care giver for my elderly mother I hear the same stories from her friends.
Doing volunteer work in a seniors home it is shocking to see and hear it from the residents the neglect of their children and grandchildren. So many of them have been thrown in there to die and never see their children or grandchildren except on Christmas. Yet, they themselves worshipped their children and grandchildren when they were young and now are abandoned by them. The only time they call is when they want money but if the parents or grandparents want any help the children and grandchildren are “too busy” to help.
Perhaps that is why Jehovah tells us to love Him above all others. It is because He loves us more than anyone could or would. He will never abuse us, leave us nor desert us.
And Jesus replied to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ Matthew 22:37 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

These devils lurk about waiting to see a weak moment and pounce on you as they are very judgmental and condemning. They do this to stand on a pedestal to make themselves look righteous at the others expense. They are the most dangerous and destructive of them all. They drive more people from Christ than any of Satan’s minions could ever dream of
Then there are the groupies.
One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.” 1 Corinthians 1:12 New International Version
Now even though this refers to denominations it also includes those groupie clubs.
They are the ones that form little groups and it is an exclusive membership. If you are not say a new mother you are not welcome in their tribe. If you are a new member of a church they ignore you if you try to go over and talk with them. In short, they are the snobs. They are responsible for one time visitors refusing to return for a second visit and indeed turning their back on Christ.
Next comes the tongue wagers.
Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down. Proverbs 26:19 New International Version
These are the deadly parrots that lurk about listening in to other conversations to devour any tidbit they can. Once they grab hold of it they burn the telephone lines up telling anybody and everybody stupid enough to listen to them. They usually mix in a little bit of the truth with a whole bunch of lies. If this can cause trouble for the unfortunate victim all the better. When confronted about their filth they behave like innocent little lambs. They are relationship destroyers. Guard well what you say about them. They destroy more relationship and cause more hard feelings between members than any wrecking ball could to any building.
Then, comes the ones that are the minority but should be the majority in every church.
They are the Christians.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22 New International Version
They are the ones that welcome any newcomers and make them feel at ease and, are always polite and respectable. Before the service they like to share what Jesus has done in their live the past week. After the service they like to talk about what was being said in relation to their walk with Christ. They are the ones that build up the church, both local and international. I am very honoured to be a member of this group and enjoy greatly being with them every opportunity I can.
The wolves are usually always attacking these minorities and are responsible for driving them many of them from the church.
Which group do you belong to?
Prayer: Please Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) bless me to always conduct myself in thought, word and deed as a respectful child of Yours and guide me to fellowship with other brothers and sister so we can and will worship You in a harmony of love and joy. God knows not only you but the other person as well. There are many things in the other person that you do not see but He does. So therefore it is best to always trust Him in any and all relationships. It will prevent a lot of heartache, frustration and suffering later on in your life.
That guy may be a smooth talker but in reality is an abusive jerk. Man have I ever met a lot of them. Personally I have found those who like to dress in luxuriant styles are snakes in the grass.
That woman may appear to be sweet and innocent but in reality she is manipulative, domineering and a self centered emotional thief. They will suck the life out of you quicker that a vacuum cleaner.
That person may seem goofy because they are shy but when you talk with them you discover they are very wise. Many of the wisest men and women I have had the privilege to become friends with I at first thought they were are brite as a burnt out light bulb but were very intelligent,caring, respectful, loving and wise.
That person may seem like a snob but in reality is just a loner (just because we are loners does not mean we have mental problems either). I am a loner yet most people consider me very deep, caring and supportive once they get to know me.
Prayer: Please Jesus Rohi (God our Sheppard) guide me towards those who are loving, caring and respectful and away from the life suckers (those who suck the life out of you). I sincerely ask this in the name of He who was open to the loving ones and closed to the lurking wolves Jesus Christ. Amen.

These articles are dedicated to the wonderful and amazing way Jehovah Jireh (the Lord our provider) answers prayers. It is a simple journal that I would like to use as an example for others to list their sincere prayer requests and then how our Beloved answers them.
It will amaze you and create a heart of gratitude and respect for our gracious Jehovah Heseh (Our God of love).

It has been three weeks since I did volunteer work at a seniors home because of a flu outbreak.
I prayed to Jehovah to bless me with an answer if they wanted me to return.
That day as mom and I were doing errands she picked up a bundle of community newspapers and took them to the seniors home. I did not know she intended to do this.
As we were delivering the papers I encountered many of the residents and the staff I volunteer with. They were all very happy to see me and the staff informed me that the flu epidemic was over and they want me to return this week.
When I got home there was a feeling like Jehovah saying:” Does that answer your question?”
I laughed and thanked Him for His wonderful way of answering my prayer.
Now I have returned to volunteering at the seniors home and we are all very glad things have gotten back to “normal”.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ropheka (God our Healer) for healing those sick in the seniors home and thank you that I can at long last return to serving you there to bring glory to Your marvelous name. I exalt you in the name of He who healed Peters sick mother Jesus Christ. Amen.

To be a servant of Jesus means we give up a lot of the worlds luxuries and most times just survive, all be it comfortably but frugally.
This is good because we learn to depend upon Jehovah for our daily needs. Because He generously supplies them we grow deeper and deeper in love with Him and develop a deeper respect for Him.
As we age and are no longer able to serve Him as we did when young we have no government pension to fall back on and most times no savings in the bank.
Through His love and grace Jehovah always supplies for us in our old age just as He did in our younger days.
Three times I worked hard, lived frugally and saved.
Three times I was wiped out. Since living for Christ, He has always supplied my every need (not necessarily my every want but definitely my every need).
Now I am getting old and my chance of getting a good work contract is nil.
In fear of my future I prayed to Him about my future with no money and no job.
Each time I did, there was a dream where I was led into an apartment. It was comfortable and spacious but the one thing there always hit me was the cupboards were always full and the lady that led there would look at me and smile and say:” This is yours.” She said it like I was not renting or purchasing the place but rather that is was given for me to live in all the rest of my days. Then I would wake up.
That day while doing Bible reading a verse like the one in this article would jump out at me.
I like Jehovahs retirement plan.
“Live to please God, and He will breathe on thee His peace. Seek His glory, and He will make thy heart His home. Do His will, and thereby good shall come to thee.” F. B. Meyer
Prayer: Thank You Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for always providing for Your child in his service to his loving King. Thank you for promising and keeping Your promise to always take care of Your children whom You cherish so deeply. I give thanks for this blessing in the name of He who taught about the birds in the sky Jesus Christ. Amen.
