I know that when satan is attacking his hardest it is to prevent me from accomplishing important tasks You have prepared for me to do to bring honour to You and to bring the little lost sheep to You.

When all seems lost, please remind me that You are right there beside me, walking me to glorious victory in Your beautiful name. You have promised that the battle is not mine but Yours to win. I know many battles will not be won instantly but take time.

The Lord my God is with me, a Powerful One Who wins the battle. He has much joy over me. With His love He gives me new life. He has joy over me with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Please enlarge my faith (trust) in You to bring it to a magnificent completion. Remembering the past victories cause me to sing songs of gratitude and joy for the victory You are bringing me in this battle.

Yes He is, No it is Not

 

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].” Acts 4:12 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved.”  Romans 10:13 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Although many claim to have the way to Heaven whether it be through Buddhism, Islam or new age (which really is not new) and reject the claim that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus and consider Christianity to be a private club yes He is, no it is not.

Jesus is the only way to Heaven, all others are the way to Hell.

Although this may seem like it is a private club, no it is not. Any and all who accept Christ and call upon His name is saved no matter what their back ground is.

It is the duty of every Christian to live in a manner that those around them will desire to join into the exclusive Heavenly club they are members of. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Therefore We Must Be.

Faith means to trust.

Have you ever layed out under the stars and be amazed at it all and wonder how Jehovah created them all? It is above our capabilities to understand it and we are left with nothing but faith in His Word that it is true.

Have you ever wondered why there is such importance in sharing love to make our lives complete? We cannot truly explain it, we must have faith in Jehovah’s word.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus would suffer and die for one such as you? I we look at it and think if we could or would make such a horrendous sacrifice and realize we could not it is above our comprehension that Christ did. That is why we must have faith in His word.

Have you ever wondered what Heaven is like, what it is like to be in constant communion with Christ? That takes faith to believe Jehovah is true to His word and it shall indeed be an eternal grandest event in our lives.

“Nothing true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history; therefore we must be saved by faith.” — Reinhold Niebuhr

Prayer: Oh my most grandiose Jehovah-Bara (The Lord Creator) I am in constant awe at all of Your stupendous creation. It leaves me humbled and enormously appreciative of the love You so lavishly bless me with every day. In deep worship in the name of Your most awesome gift to me Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Who has Borne the Scars

                                         

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. When I was in Asia, met Asian Christians and informed them I was a Christian the first question they asked was how much have I suffered for Christ. They call most Christians in the west marshmallows because they have the feel good Christ not the real one. When it comes time to suffer for Christ they either walk, or run away saying: “That is not what I signed up for!” Upon coming home to Canada it was shocking to see just how true this was.

Ask any so called Christian how much they have suffered for Christ and see how many answer in the affirmative and how many of them look at you like you are insane.

Oh we all suffer from time to time, welcome to life, but how many are willing to suffer intentionally for Christ?

We may not receive physical lashes but we will receive brutal verbal ones which slash much deeper ( especially when it comes from family and former friends).

Oh we may not be in a physical prison but we may be in a one in social groups where no one will talk with you at work or school ( believe me it makes for a long day and many times you feel as if you are the only person in the world).

We may not receive physical blows but we will receive verbal ones as we are viciously laughed at, mocked, tormented and made the butt of jokes at work, at school, in church or any other social setting. These hurt much more than physical ones.

Can you think of any other manner in which we will suffer for Christ or that you have suffered for Christ?

To see a true Christian is to see one who has borne the scars for Christ. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for the privilege of suffering for You like You suffered for me. I know that this suffering brings us closer together and blesses me with appreciating You more and more because You walk through the suffering with me. I praise You in Your strong name. Amen.

Worry Leads to Impatience

Do not fret; it leads only to evil. Psalm 37:8 Holy Bible Amplified Version

To fret means to worry.

Have we not all fretted on more than one occasion?

I used to be a first class worry wort. If things did not happen in my time , I would take matters into my own hands. When the crash and burn happened my cry unto Jehovah was always the same : “ Jehovah , where were You , why did You not help me. “ He of course was not to fault but it was my own fault. It took me many years to wait upon His time , in His way.

I used to believe I was a patient man until I became a Christian and had to wait upon Jehovahs timing , not my own. Joseph- Anthony: Green

I believe not only was He teaching me patience but also to have and enlarge my faith.

Worry leads to impatience waiting for Jehovah to answer. Impatience leads to arrogance which says I will not wait for the Lords answer. This leads us to take matters into our own hands. This , of course , leads to disaster. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for blessing me with teaching me to always have faith and to be patient to wait upon Your time in Your way in every aspect of my life. God is Near.

 

 Do you believe that God is near? He wants you to. He wants you to know that He is in the midst of your world. Wherever you are as you read these words, He is present.–Max Lucado

It is not that Jehovah is far from you but that you are far from Jehovah. Think about that okay?

Why do you cry unto Jehovah and wonder why He is far from you when you do not spend any time with Him?

How much time do you spend talking with Him intimately (prayer), not just whining like a spoiled brat to give you things but thanking Him every day for all the abundant blessings he gives you every day?

When you do pray unto Him for guidance how much do you obey what he is saying to you if you do not like what He is saying unto you?

How much time do you spend reading His word?

How much of your time and your life do you give unto Him?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 Holy Bible, New King James Version

So if you want to get close with Jehovah why not ask Him to share His thoughts towards you and follow His paths that He has predestined for you to be blessed with peace, hope and a good future?  

Prayer: I praise You my loving Father Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with always walking with me through trails and triumphs, sorrow and joy, for guiding my with Your wise gentle, firm had and most of all for blessing me with sharing the most awesome loving relationship with You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Doing So with Wisdom.

 

 

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 1 John 5:2 Holy Bible King James Version

That we faithfully are obedient to keep His commandments. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 Holy Bible King James Version

We are to be charitable while doing so with wisdom.

There are too many bleeding hearts out there that want you to give money to help those who refuse to help themselves.

How many in say Africa breed like flies on dung piles and then cry to those in the western world to give them money. If they cannot support their children do not have them. Why should we support a destructive lifestyle? When I was doing missionary work in Central America they kept on telling me I should be married and have lots of children so that when I get old the children will support me. When I asked them how much they helped their parents they looked at me in shock and informed me they had no money to help their parents. Then they told me because I was rich (which I was not) that I owed them and had to give them money.

It is the same with these TV evangelists who are always crying for money. I used to listen to a few on the internet. Before the show they cry that they need money. Then, at the end they are talking about how you will have a great time with them on some cruise. Excuse me but if they can afford to go on cruises why do they need my money. I say they should publicly reveal their wages if they publicly ask for money.

For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10 Holy Bible New International Version

Do not give to the lazy. There are too many welfare bums that are capable of working but are too lazy to do so and expect the hard working of society to support their laziness. How many are also involved in drugs and alcohol? Serving as a volunteer in soup kitchens I saw a lot of this.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Abba (God our father) bless me to imitate Your divine love to everyone today so as to be an obedient child but to give wisely not foolishly. I request this in the name of Your most loving son Jesus Christ. Amen.

He Did It.

“It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” Philippians 2:13

As you grow in Christ you will slowly change to become more like Him. Most of the change is very subtle and you will not even be aware of it.

So when people mention how much you have changed do not be arrogant and brag about it as if it was of your own accomplishment.

Instead give praise where it belongs to Jehovah.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) for the wonderful blessing of slowly creating me to be the child you desire me to be. It is a delightful privilege to be so honoured. I humbly ask this in the name of he who accomplished Your amazing purpose on the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

Until An Opportune Time.

Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time. Luke 4:13 New King James Version

 

This is something for every addict to remember.

Do not believe for a second that if you have recovered from an addiction like alcoholism that temptation will never rear its ugly head again.

The devil will wait until an opportune time to strike you so as to defeat you.

 

That is why it is important to have Christian mentors and support at all times.

“Compassion will cure more sins than condemnation.” Henry Ward Beecher

 

That is why it is important to memorize Scripture Verses to throw at him when He tempts you.

 

That is why it is important for you to maintain a constant relationship with Christ so the Holy Spirit will be there to help you overcome the temptation when it comes (and it will).

I have used this method very successfully for many years with overcoming alcoholism.

I Shall Not Be Moved.

I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. Psalms 16:8-9 New King James Version

To set the Lord before me indicated that we are following the Lords path in our life. The right hand is the one of honesty and strength.

Therefore these verses indicates that we trust and obey the Lords leading and we are not moved by others opinions or motives.

I do not conform to what others think I ought to do but rather to what I know Jehovah has made me to do. Joseph- Anthony: Green

As a consequence of this our hearts are filled with gladness and we know that our glory comes from Christ so we rejoice in His divine leading and strength in our lives.

Our hope is not like hoping to win a lottery (good luck) but rather in the assurance of a rock solid guarantee.

The guarantee of course is confidence that we have a calling, we are walking in that calling, and the Lord provides for us in that calling.

As a result of this we have a guarantee of a permanent Heavenly reward which brings joy to our spirit.
