So They Could.

                          

So the Jews surrounded Him and began saying to Him, “How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are [really] the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), tell us so plainly and openly.” John 10:24 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The Jewish leaders knew who Jesus was by the words He spoke and what He had done. They were looking to entrap Him so they could crucify Him. The were so wrapped up in religion that they knowingly rejected God. They refused to listen to Him because they are not His sheep.

Too often there are those in power in churches that believe they can do whatever they want with complete impunity. When you try to discuss it with them they become very offensive and try to use Bible verses to entrap you, to shame you and enslave you to their doctrine not Christ’s. These wicked creatures are doing satans work, not Christ’s. They will pay a heavy penalty for it on judgement day. They do more to drive folks away from Christ than towards Him.

I suffered because of these wicked souls when one of my parents was a member of a certain cult in my teenage years. Those that are still alive today are not powerful but weak pitiful souls. Those that have passed on died alone, weak and in a pitiful state.

I have unfortunately met many that can quote from the Bible but refuse to live by it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Magen (The Lord my Shield) for blessing me with Your  impenetrable shield to protect me from the vile attacks of the upsurgers of Your Divine word and for encouraging me when they do occasionally penetrate to my heart in a moment of weakness.

I glorify Thee in the name of He whose shield was too powerful for any of His foes to penetrate Jesus Christ. Amen

Which Meal Are You Eating?

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12 New International Version 

There once were two men living in house beside each other.

One night there was a storm and it knocked out all the hydro.

The one man woke up feeling very hungry so he went to the kitchen in the dark to make himself a sandwich. Instead of putting peanut butter on the bread he put mustard. Instead of putting jam on the bread he put on horse radish. He took a big bite and his mouth was burning, his stomach felt as if there were red hot fingers gripping it. In pain he reached for something to drink. Instead of drinking apple juice he drank hot sauce. He was in agony.

The second man felt hungry as well. He grabbed a flash light and went into the kitchen and made a peanut butter and jam sandwich and sat down to enjoy it with a warm cup of delicious tea.

The difference between the two men was the light.

So too it is in life.

Those who walk in darkness are constantly groping about for something to satisfy them only to be rewarded with pain.

 

Those who follow Christs light enjoy a delightful, life giving meal of the Holy Spirit.

Which meal are you eating?

A Fools Crown

They give you nothing.

“Tell the truth the first time, then you won’t have to remember what you said.” Sam Rayburn

I live in a culture where they promise you anything to get you to do what they want you to do but have no intention of fulfilling their end of the bargain. They will make great promises to do great things for you if you do this or that for them. After you have done as they requested they suddenly get amnesia and don’t remember making those promises, even when they are written down.

I like to let them be blow hards in front of other people while a recorder is taping it. It puffs up their ego. Then I inform them I will gladly do as they want me to for them once they have delivered on their promises. I say things like you are a man or woman of respect and honour. I want to give you the privilege of showing everybody just how great of a respectable and honorable man or woman you are and refuse to budge. They lose a lot of face and anytime they try that con again I just remind them of their previous promises and eagerly await the day they are going to do all those wonderful things for me.

A little lie only lead to a bigger lie which leads to a bigger lie which ends up crowning you with a fools crown before all. Joseph- Antony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shammah (the Lord is present) for being there and opening my eyes when the filthy snakes come with their smooth talk to reveal to me it is smooth with dung. Prevents It Flying to God.

Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Matthew 19:21-22 New King James Version

“The love of worldly possessions is a sort of birdlime (trap), which entangles the soul and prevents it flying to God.” Augustine

In most of the world today most people are slaves.

They foolishly fall for the trap of materialistic pleasures such as a new house (which in my opinion is nothing more than a money pit). Then they are slaves to a mortage and constant upkeep costs. Indeed how many houses are overpriced because of rich immigrants coming in and buying everything up and we cannot afford a house anyway.

They are shallow enough to purchase products that promise they will be physically beautiful while neglecting their spiritual beauty. If have met many that their physical appearances are ugly yet they are the most beautiful souls I have had the privilege to meet. They go out and buy products that run up their credit cards and clothing that is overpriced and they go in debt. Meanwhile those outfits they “Had to have” are sitting in their closets collecting dust. They are slaves to fashion.

I think it is shameful when someone owns a house and they have to rent to storage place because they have too much stuff.

They think buying a certain car will make them happy and cool. I always laugh and ask them if that means they are dorks when they are not in their cars.

It is an empty happiness those whose happiness is found in worldly pleasures.  Joseph- Anthony: Green

Nourishes the Body.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning. John 1:1-2 New International Version

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name. John 14:26 New King James Version

I was recently asked to explain the trinity to a new believer and this was my explanation.

The trinity is like the body.

The mind needs the lungs and heart to survive.

The lungs needs the heart and mind to survive.

The Heart needs the lungs and mind to survive.

So too is Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit intertwined and in so doing they nourish the body (which is the church).

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God is out teacher) for blessing me with teaching me the simple yet wise way to explain about the Holy Trinity. I pray that it is understood by the babes in Your divine family and helps draw them closer to You. I humbly ask this in the name of He who so wisely taught His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen.

It Will Be Given to Him.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 New King James Version

Our Heavenly Beloved does not belittle you when you ask for guidance (you know like: What’s the matter are you stupid or something, oh come on, figure it out yourself, how many times must I explain this to you).

He encourages you to question both Him and His guidance in your life.

The more you respectfully question Jehovah the more he reveals Himself to you. The more he reveals Himself to you the more you love Him and respect Him which will make you worship Him all the more.

 

The more you respectfully question His guidance in your life the less problems you will have which will make you more grateful to Him which will make you worship Him all the more.

It is not a one off experience, it takes a lifetime.

I know this certainly is true in my life.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God is my teacher) for being so patient with this occasional dunce when I am slow to learn. Thank you my Beloved for enlightening me in the divine way in my life. I extol you in the name of the greatest rabbi ever Jesus Christ. Amen.

I Shall Not Be Moved.

I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. Psalms 16:8-9 New King James Version

 

Therefore: in consequence of that; as a result;   www.dictionary.com

To set the Lord before me indicated that we are following the Lords path in our life. The right hand is the one of honesty and strength.

Therefore these verses indicates that we trust and obey the Lords leading and we are not moved by others opinions or motives.

I do not conform to what others think I ought to do but rather to what I know Jehovah has made me to do. Joseph- Anthony: Green

As a consequence of this our hearts are filled with gladness and we know that our glory comes from Christ so we rejoice in His divine leading and strength in our lives.

Our hope is not like hoping to win a lottery (good luck) but rather in the assurance of a rock solid guarantee.

The guarantee of course is confidence that we have a calling, we are walking in that calling, and the Lord provides for us in that calling.

As a result of this we have a guarantee of a permanent Heavenly reward which brings joy to our spirit.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Rohi (Jesus our great Sheppard) for blessing me with a divine calling and the Heavenly joy that comes with walking this path with You. I exalt You in Your magnificent name. More Than Asked For.

These articles are dedicated to the wonderful and amazing way Jehovah Jireh (the Lord our provider) answers prayers. It is a simple journal that I would like to use as an example for others to list their sincere prayer requests and then how our Beloved answers them.                                                                                                                                       

It will amaze you and create a heart of gratitude and respect for our gracious Jehovah Heseh (Our God of love).

Yesterday I prayed the Lord would bless me with a good teacher and that my mind be open to what was being taught concerning a problem on my computer.

The teacher was very good. She explained things in a simple easy relaxed manner which made it easy to understand.

As well as solving the annoying problem she taught me some programs which help me a lot and got rid of some annoying ones.

She showed me a program to use to help an elderly lady living in a seniors home that does not speak our language. This site gives simple sentences the nurses can use to communicate with her.

 

She showed me how to get on the libraries WiFI, which I did not even know they had for free.

She showed me a site with a lot of freebies, which is deeply appreciated by a cheepo like me, to help with my writing.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for blessing me with a wise teacher who abundantly provided me with so much more useful information than I was expecting. I praise You in the name of He who abundantly provide the wine at the grooms wedding Jesus Christ. Amen.

Never Existed Before.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version

Just think there is only one like you. You are an original. There was never anyone like you and never will be again.

So why do you try to fit in with the crowd?

I remember this really bad TV show that everyone was watching. When I asked my friends if they liked it, they confided in me that they thought the show was boring and crappy. When I asked them why they watched it their reply was always the same: because everybody else is.

Now God created you for a special purpose that only you can accomplish.

When you give your life over to Jesus that makes Him your king. As such the King has a special assignment just for you His servant.

To know what that is takes honest and sincere prayer.

He has always answered me in unusual ways. Sometimes it was with a small advertisement in a newspaper, sometimes it was a sermon, sometimes it was a talk with a friend.

When your calling is revealed it will sometimes be one that takes a leap of faith.

But know this, all calling are important or else Christ would not waste your time and His.

If your calling is to be a stay at home mother it is just as important as a missionary (stay at home mothers have a very important calling, molding the next generation of Jehovahs children).

If your calling is  to be a waitress or waiter the work you do is very important. Your attitude can change someones day and indeed their life.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) for blessing me with a special assignment to bring glory and honour to Your cherished name and for the wonderful opportunity to bring someone into Your sanctified family. I praise you in the name of He whose precious blood made it all possible Jesus Christ. Amen.

It Helped Me to Understand.

You need someone to teach you  Hebrews 5:12 New King James Version     

                                                                                 

Last night I prayed that the course I was to take would be very educational for me and enjoyable. 

                                                                                                                                

The course and the instructors were very educating to us and especially to me with volunteering in a seniors home and caring for my aged disabled mother for myself and for preparing the other students for their chosen fields in their careers. The material was easy to understand and the presentation very educational and easy to understand.                                                                          

It helped me to understand mentally challenged seniors behaviour and therefore help with interaction with them. 

                                                                                                                     

It also helped show me how to prevent problems and how to deal with them if they occur.

The other classmates were great as was the instructors. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.   

                                                                                                                     

I would strongly urge anyone caring for the elderly or mentally challenged and for teachers to learn Gentle Persuasive Approach if possible. It will help you out a great deal. 

Although some it is not possible to implement because of staff shortage at the seniors home I volunteer at it is still well worth the time.                                                                          

As you will see in a later post this training held me in good steed.                                                    

I think it is only available in Ontario Canada now but if it is available in your area I would defiantly recommend it.
