Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Why not give this a try: Say thank you to the stock boys and girls as well as the cashiers at stores. They work hard for little money and receive little gratitude for their hard work.

Give your doctor and thank you card and a home made gift in appreciation for all their hard work. Think about it, they put in long hours and listen to nothing but complaining all day long. That is depressing.

Why not shake a cops hand and thank them for their difficult job. They get crapped on for doing their job and crapped on for not intervening when they cannot.

How about adding pastors, choirs masters, teachers to the list. And you know what?

In doing so, you will find you have a much happier life and mentality.

A grateful life is a joyous life. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Oh, and do not forget to say thank you to our Heavenly Poppa when He blesses you. As well, begin and end your day with saying thank you to Him for all the blessing great and small and see how good of a nights sleep you get.

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father to be shared with others.

Why do You Give?

Lazy people are soon poor Proverbs 10:4 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

We are bombarded with feel good stories on the TV news of giving to help the poor, giving to help those with sicknesses and disease.   

BUT, what is at the heart of the giver?                      

Do they genuinely give because of their concern or do they give to feel good and to be prideful on social media look at me, look at me. Or to brag to friends, family and co-workers? Do they participate to be a part of the crowd or because they are peer pressured to give?        

Yes the Lord loves a cheerful giver BUT, we must first take it to Him in prayer where to give, how much to give and when to give. Then, we will be giving to please the Lord which is the only reason any Christian should give.               

Give joyfully and thankfully to the Lord in abundance as a sacrifice of love and appreciation as He has given in abundance sometimes with great cost (like the cross) to you.  

Give, but give to bring glory to Christ not to self Joseph a son of Jehovah

  Why do you give?

 Prayer:Thank you Jehovah Jireth (Genesis 22:14 The LORD Shall Provide) for blessing me with the tools and the opportunities to help those that are worthy of help. May these opportunities be a conduit to guide the needy into Your gracious loving arms. I praise You in the name of He who gave His blood for my redemption, Jesus Christ. Amen

Why do You Give?

Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have. 2 Corinthians 8:12 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Our Hearts Dance with Delight and Praise.

Weeping may last through the night but joy comes with the morning. Psalm 30:5 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

When we are sad, discouraged and or heavy burdened it seems as if clouds of darkness envelope us in the darkest of darkness.

Yet, when the Lord come to help us, encourage us and lifts that burden from our shoulders when we surrender to them, the dark clouds dissipate and flutter away. They are replaced with the sunshine of Jehovahs love and joy which make our hearts dance with delight and praise.

“The greater my knowledge of the goodness and grace of God on my life, the more likely I am to praise Him in the storm.” Matt Chandler

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) Judges 6:12 for blessing me with Your encouragement, strength, comfort and guidance not just in the dark days but in all my days. Thank is one of the greatest blessings there can ever be. I exalt You in the name of my most cherished blessing Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

To Behave Like Angels.

Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. “Praising God is one of the highest and purest acts of religion. In prayer we act like men; in praise we act like angels.” — Thomas Watson

I love to behave like angels. We read in the Bible how they are continually praising Jehovah and Jesus. Me too. No matter how big or small the blessing I praise my Beloved for them all.

As a consequence of this I am more in tune with all of His blessings which makes me praise all the more. Every day is filled with praise for them.

Why not try it and experience a fantastic side effect of this habit, a day filled with Divine love and joy. I am grateful for this gift as I know you will be too. Salutation

Brings Me into His

Satan is darkness, Jesus is light.

When the darkness of fear, anger, sadness and worry envelope me, I call out to my loving Heavenly best friend. He lifts me out of satans darkness and brings me into His loving, healing, comforting assuring brilliant light.

Prayer: Please Holy Spirit remind me of how You walked with me through oh so many trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares and dangers in the past so that I will have complete confidence in you whenever they come upon me in the future. Because this will cause my heart to sing for joy knowing you are there, you care and you have total control over the situation. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El SIMCHAH GIYL (God my Exceeding Joy) for blessing my heart with exceeding joy as I remember Your brilliant light that guided me through the darkest hours of my life I exalt You in the name of the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen

Be sure of this

The Lord works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster. The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. Proverbs 16: 4-5 Holy Bible New Living Translation

This is the best revenge you do not want to see.

Speaking from personal experience, yes I have desired revenge upon more than a few folks in my time.

Many times I got it on my own until the Lord convicted me that is a strong no, no for a Christian. We are to trust that Jehovah is a God of Justice and He will give vengeance in His way, in His time. Every time.

He has allowed me to witness His vengeance it has brought about the same three reactions.

One: a feeling of terror. Terror that that could be me one day because we all offend Jehovah because we are all sinners.

Repent or face the consequences. There is no plea bargaining or parole with Christ. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Two: a feeling of overwhelming joy that the blood of my Saviour along with my repentance (unrepentant sin is forgiven sin Joseph a son of Jehovah) exonerates me from receiving what the Law says (Jehovahs court, not mans) will be my punishment.

Three: Deep heart cutting agony at seeing the wicked suffer because of receiving Divine punishment.

You cannot love and rejoice at seeing Jehovahs justice. Joseph a son of Jehovah

And, if you think it causes agony for us to witness it, imagine how it makes Jehovah feel. 

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Hashopet (Judges 11:27) The LORD the Judge for the amazing blessing of forgiveness when I sincerely repent. Thank you that there is inescapable justice for the wicked when they refuse to repent. I extol You in Your fair name. Amen

May love be in your life, may hope be in your heart and may peace be in your every day walk with Christ.

Then, My Spirit Soars

 I pray to you, O Lord, my rock.  Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you are silent, I might as well give up and die. Psalm 28:1 New Living Translation

There has been so many times in my life I felt like giving up and dying. It seemed as if everything I touched was destroyed. It seemed as if I gave everything and there was nothing left. It seemed as if I was the only soul in this world. In those times I went to the Lord and begged for death.

He patiently and lovingly guided me to verse after verse in the Bible affirming His love and care for me. Other times He came personally to me and filled my spirit with His love and reassurance.

One thing I noticed in reflection though, was that it was when I was at the end of my rope that He began an amazing transformation in me. He had to wait until I was ready and willing to surrender my will to His.

The other is that it was life changing in a manner in which shall never be forgotten but joyfully remembered.

Many times when I have felt like giving up I spend time with my Beloved . Then, my spirit soars like an eagle in the sky and my hope is renewed. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesesus Yasha (The Lord my Savior ) for saving me from disaster after disaster. Thank you for the mysterious and numerous ways in which You brought salvation to me. I exalt You in the name of He whose blood saved me from damnation Jesus Christ. Amen.

Christ blesses us with love, peace and joy. May you be blessed with many opportunities to share these with others today.

There is No Other

 Most certainly God is with you, and there is no other, No other God [besides Him]. Isaiah 45:14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There has been many hard times in my life where in reflection it is revealed that is was by the hand of Jehovah that He navigated me through them. No one or nothing else could have helped me through them. There is no other god to compare with my loving Heavenly Father. I am eternally grateful to Him for this blessing.

There have been many times when there was bountiful blessings showered upon me that made life easy and good. It was obvious with whom these blessing came forth from. Jehovah is truly a God of bountiful blessings. I am eternally grateful to Him for this blessing. There is no god like Him.

There has been uncountable times when the pain endured was unbearable and crushing. It was my loving Fathers comforting and soothing soft voice that brought encouragement and strength to not only endure them but to prosper through them (yes, sometimes Jehovah allow us to go through the dross to remove the impurities in us to mould us into even more beautiful children of His). I am eternally grateful to Him for this blessing. There truly is no other god like Him

There has been numberless times when I was blessed with His immeasurable love that filled every molecule in the body with total and complete joy to the extent that it felt like I was going to explode in ecstasy. There is nothing to compare with that experience. I am eternally grateful to Him for this blessing. There truly is no other god like Him.

God is a God of the present. God is always in the moment, be that moment hard or easy, joyful or painful. Henri Nouwen

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for being with me through all of my trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares. I never would have made it without You. Thank you my Beloved Father for blessing me with communion with You. It makes my heart dance with joy every time I am in Your loving presence. I exalt You in the name of He with whom I long to spend eternity with Jesus Christ. Amen

I Ask For.

The thing I have noticed and numerous studies have confirmed is that the more material wealth you have the more paranoid you become about losing, the less detached you are from reality. The more luxury you have the more you become a slave to the scam of big business.

Take for example the latest mobile phone that comes out from a certain company every year or so. Folks are demented enough to wait in long line to pay idiotic prices for a gadget that they are only going to through away next year anyway. Their lunatic reasoning is that if they do not have the latest they are a no body. That is vanity. The gadget or latest designer clothes are like a god to them and the idolize things rather than nurture love towards others.

For where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also. Matthew 6:21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I on the other hand seek the truest most valuable treasure of all.

That is: a loving relationship with Jehovah. When we commune together my heart is filled with Divine love, which nothing can compare with.

There is an old saying: what goes around, comes around.

Because I am honest I look forward to what is coming my way.

I nurture a pure heart for what matters to Jehovah and am not swayed by the foolish gibberish spewed by those who are worshiped as Gods like TV certain celebrities. As such there is a lot of peace withing my heart that is only attained by being in the right relationship with Jehovah.

“I do not ask for a life of luxury, nor for material wealth. I ask for a joyful heart, an honest heart, a pure heart. A heart after Jehovah riches” Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand- God is my friend for blessing me with the most amazing loving friend ever possible. Thank you for blessing me with spiritual blessings that are the most prized of all gifts You have showered upon me. I exalt Thee in the name of the most beautiful jewel of them all Jesus Christ. Amen
