How Much of a Push do You Need?

When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them. Genesis 19:16 New International Version

Have you ever felt the Lord moving you to leave someplace like work or a relationship and you did not want to leave?  Then He has to take drastic measures to get you out of that place or situation? Was it a relationship or someplace you were living? Reflecting on it you understand that even though you did not want to go, the Lord saw the impending danger and took those drastic measures because they were necessary.

I can think of a situation where all the signs were there but I did not want to leave. Finally the Lord took drastic a measure to get me out of there. Looking back I am glad He did.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rohi (God our Sheppard) for taking the nessesary actions to get me where you wanted me to be and to do what you wanted me to do. Please always move my heart, mind and feet where You desire for me. I humbly request this in the name of our wise Sheppard Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

After faithfully serving the Lord in China for ten years as a teacher I have been called home to care for my aged mother who has numerous disabilities. As well I regularly do volunteer work visiting seniors in a seniors home. I love being in nature. I say the closer we get to nature the more we see Jehovah. We are blessed in this area with many amazing, easy to ride bicycle trails on old railroad lines that takes us all over Southern Ontario.
