I said, “ I will guard my ways That I may not sin with my tongue; I will muzzle my mouth While the wicked are in my presence.” Psalm 39:1 Holy Bible Amplified Version
This is great advice because the wicked love to trap you in your words and misquote you to start fights and then sit back and laugh.
I have encountered many who have a conversation with me about someone else only to take what I said and twist it around when they relay it to the person talked about. The purpose of this is to cause a fight which satisfies their perverted pleasure.
I have learned the hard way that when someone gossips about someone to me I just ask them a simple question which ends the filth right there and there : “ And what do you say about me when I am not around ? “ They have a look of shock and the conversation is abruptly ended.
Another thing I like to do is get a pen and paper and start to write down what they are saying. When they ask me what I am doing my reply is that I am documenting what they are saying so as not to misquote them if the other person comes to me about what was said. They squirm like a worm on a hot frying pan.
And finally try this one : “ It has nothing to do with me . “
I like to live by the saying : “ Be quick to listen and slow to speak. “ it keeps me out of a lot of trouble.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Mephalti (The Lord my Deliverer) for blessing me with Your Divine wisdom to keep my mouth shut around the wicked ones. In this way You have delivered me from their wicked schemes. I praise You in the name of He who refused to be trapped by Satan in the wilderness Jesus Christ . Amen
May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness ? 2 Corinthians 6:14Holy Bible, Amplified Version
Can a wolf live together with a deer ?
Of course not.
Why not ?
Because the first chance given the wolf will attack and devour the deer.
Can the antelope live together with the lion ? Of course not.
Why not ?
Because the first chance given the lion will attack and devour the antelope.
Can those who walk in the light of Christ be friends of those who walk in the darkness of Satan ?
Of course not.
Why not ?
Because everything they love we Christians hate and everything we Christians hate everything they love. It is even more important not to be unevenly yoked with unbelievers in marriage. That is a recipe for certain disaster and heart ache.
That does not mean we cannot work with them and be respectful towards them but we are to avoid friendships with them as their destructive manner and disposition will slowly destroy our divine manner and disposition. It will start out slowly without you even noticing it like a small patch of rust on a vehicle. But, just as the rust will slowly destroy the vehicle if not eradicated immediately so too will the uncircumcised of heart destroy our heart towards Christ slowly but surely un-noticed until it is too late for the foolish ones that play with the devils fire.
Do not be deceived:Bad company corrupts good morals.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 Holy Bible , Amplified Version
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand ( God is my friend ) for blessing me with Your Divine Heavenly and Your guidance towards those who are walking in the light. Thank you for Your Divine providence in warning me of the destructive wolfs out there that only seek to use and abuse others for their own wicked ends and to drive us away from You. I exalt You in the name of my bestest friend Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hurwent to the top of the hill.As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekitearmy with the sword.Exodus 17:10-13 Holy Bible, New International Version
We need to help each other as did Aaron and Hur. How many new born Christians walk away from Christ because when they encounter trials or tribulations, sorrows or snares the so called mature Christians not only refuse to help them but stand there and shake their heads and tisk, tisk the babes. How many pastors have walked away because no one was there for them to talk about their problems with?
How can we claim we have the warmth of the love of Christ in our hearts when they are cold to others suffering? Joseph- Anthony: Green
If you turn your back on a brother or sister encountering trials or tribulations, sorrows or snares why do you believe Jehovah will not turn His back on you when the same thing occurs to you. We need to be like Moses and accept help.
To refuse to accept help is because of pride and pride has no place in a Christians heart or life. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Leaders are human too. You do not have all the answers; you cannot handle all the problems in your congregation or personal life alone. No one has that big of shoulders. That goes not just for leaders but for all of us.
The wise listens to wise Christian advice. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Prayer: Please bless me Jehovah Ezer (The LORD our Helper) to always emulate You to be a helper to those in need just as You have always helped me in my time of need. I humble request this in the name of He who always helped others during His earthly walk Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:10 Holy Bible, New International Version
They are three of the hardest words for us to say :”I am sorry.”
How many marriages and friendships have been destroyed because the offender refused to apologize?
You know why they refuse to apologize?
PRIDE!
When on the other hand you apologize, many times, you end up feeling better than the person who was offended.
They are hard but necessary steps you must take.
If on the other hand you are proud and arrogant and refuse to apologize what right do you have to expect God to forgive you or to give you any blessings?
If you refuse to forgive others why do you expect Jehovah to forgive you? Joseph- Anthony: Green
Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) create in me a humble heart that is sincerely willing to repent to any and all who I offend, including You. I implore You in the name of He who taught true repentance best Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s templeand that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 New King James Version
Do you see the important part of these verses?
Anyone who destroys Jehovahs temple, He will destroy you.
As we Christians are the temple then it stands to reason that the offense is anyone that does anything to destroy another’s Christian walk. That includes false teachers and the wolves.
Some examples of false teachers are those who teach that we do not need to accept the fact that Christ died and slow agonizing death while shedding His Divine love for us.
Another example of anti-Christ teaching is that because Jesus loves us we can do what ever we desire with no consequences. Because He loves us we are all going to Heaven, hold hands in a circle and sing come by ya my Lord in Heavenly bliss. This satanic teaching is very popular in todays culture.
An additional satanic teaching is that there is no difference between Christ and the satanic cults of the world like islam There is a false teaching going around that there is no difference between Christianity and muslims. Christians believe Jesus is the son of God, muslims do not. Christians believe Jesus has been with Jehovah for all eternity, muslims do not. Christians believe that it is only through Christs sacrifice on the cross and our acceptance of Him as our Savior that gains us entry into Heaven, muslims do not.
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall inourbrother’s way.Romans 14:13 New King James Version
The most wicked ones in any church are the wolves. They worship their god satan by driving more people from the church and Christ than anything or anyone else. These filth are the ones that are so high and mighty. They are quick to pounce upon others weaknesses in a superior judgmental way. I have seen too much of these wicked cursed ones in church and been the recipient of too many of their attacks. The perverse thing is that these are the ones that are the biggest sinners.
There are three types of folks that attend church. The biggest should be the smallest and the smallest should be the biggest.
The biggest group is the wolves, those seeking to attack others in a judgmental attitude and behavior. They drive more people from Christ and His church than any other contributing factor.
The next group is the groupies. They are not in church to worship or serve Christ, they are there to socialize in their little groups. If you are a new comer they will seldom welcome you to their group.
The last and smallest group are those who congregate to worship the Holy Trinity and to serve them.
When you attack a Christian, you attack Christ. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Prayer:Thank you Jehovah-Ganan (The Lord is Our Defense) for protecting and defending me against attacks by the wicked ones who knowingly or unknowingly attack Your precious child. Even though it was hard You taught me to depend upon You to defend me instead of foolishly being a hot head and attempting this feat with my own limited power and knowledge. Please bless them my love with seeing how wicked their behavior and attitude is and repenting of it. I praise You in the name of He who will be the ultimate victor in this battle Jesus Christ. Amen.
May Jehovah bless you today and every day with His precious love, joy and peace.
He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made. His trouble shall return upon his own head, And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown. Psalm 7:15-16 New King James Version
We have all met, I am sure, those who delight in causing trouble. They love to cause fights between families, they love to cause fights between friends, they love to cause fights at work or school and they love to cause fights at public events (just look at soccer matches in Europe). They get their perverted pleasure from watching others fight and the grief it causes.
Give it time. It always comes back on them. And when it happens it always happens when they least expect it and at a very inopportune time (like say door crashers at a wedding reception or at a social event where it will cause them a lot of embarrassment.
The other thing I have noticed about them is that when they are young they believe they are getting away with it but as they age (it usually begins in their forties) they find themselves friendless. When they need companionship or help there is no one there for them.
Another thing I find happens is that they end up with tormentors (say a neighbour that is constantly playing loud music and doing things to anger them and laughing in their faces. Their lives are one of constant torment.
I have seen it too many times to count (that is one advantage of being older; we get to see them receive them fruits of their labours as it were). When confronted with these wicked creatures do not take things into your own hands but leave them in the hands of Jehovah. It may seem as if they are getting away with it and you may not see Jehovahs justice but be sure they will get what they have coming to them.
The seeds you plant today you will harvest in abundance tomorrow. Be careful the type of seeds you are planting. Joseph- Anthony: Green
When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers. Proverbs 21:15 New International Version
And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. Luke 18:7-8 New International Version
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Hashopet (The Lord is the Supreme Judge) for promising and delivering on Your Divine word that You will ensure true justice is done to the wicked who persecute, harm and cheat Your beloved children. I thank You in the name of the King who will deliver eternal justice on the Day of Judgment Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ beautiful love bless you today and every day.
In Exodus twenty one because the people angered Jehovah with their constant whining He brought serpents into their camp and many died.
Does the snake of whining or bitterness or greed or mean spiritness bite your heart and poison your relationship with Jehovah and with others?
Just as the people were healed when they looked to the bronze snake on a stake are we not healed when we look to Jesus on the cross with a repentant heart?
You cannot eat strawberries if you plant lemons. If you are bitter like a lemon you will end up alone and drink plentifully of the bitterness you have sown. If you plant the sweetness of love, you will be blessed with an abundant harvest of sweet love. Joseph- Anthony: Green.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chanan (God is our provider) for all the abundant blessings You have so generously given me. Please cultivate within me a heart filled with the deep sweet nectar of appreciativeness every day for Your numerous blessings both big and small. I humbly ask this in the name of He who was always appreciative of the daily bread You blessed Him with as He walked amongst us Jus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Matthew 5:24 New King James Version
A stiff apology is a second insult. G. K. Chesterton
Have you ever had someone sarcastically apologize to you? You know they are not remorseful; they are doing it because they have to. If you grew up with brothers and or sisters I am sure that has happened to you.
Isn’t it better to not apologize at all?
When this happens to me I just look them in the eye and ask one simple question that drives them nuts: “Are you?” It drives them nuts because their hypocrisy is exposed.
Then just talk with them, explain why what they did was wrong and why a sincere apology is in order. Tell them you refuse to talk with them until they are truly sorry. Then take it to the Lord in prayer that the Holy Spirit convicts them of their wrong attitude. In my experience it takes no more than a day or two before they come round.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be them! Joseph- Anthony- Green
Prayer: Please Jehovah Shalom (God our peace) please fill me with wisdom and peace when encountering phony people who mock me with their sarcastic pretentious attitudes and apologies. In the name of the one who received many such insults Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.1 Peter 3:8 New King James Version
Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.—Sherry Anderson
How would you like the idea of enjoying astonishing riches.
The best way is to volunteer. The unlimited supply of delightful joy this brings is immeasurable.
I spent ten years of volunteering in Hospitals in Ontario. Those truly were the best years of my life. Yes there was the gratitude of the nurses and doctors. There was a wonderful feeling of the fact that I made the world a better place for those less fortunate than me. But there was also a wonderful sense of the joy that can only be gained by helping someone.
For those of you who are just graduating from school or the unemployed it is also a great place to make contacts to get a job.
For seniors it is a great place to use the skills you have honed over the years to pass on to the younger generation .
In both cases it also prevent depression from slowly eating away the joy in your life.
Come on, there is an unlimited supply of opportunities to serve. Why not volunteer at a food bank or soup kitchen to help you realize how blessed you are. Why not be a reading buddy with a child in a local school. Why not visit seniors or volunteer with meals on wheels. Why not volunteer at your local Salvation Army Thrift store.
When you begin volunteering it may be difficult at first, but hang in there. If it doesn’t work out try someplace else.
I believe it should be mandatory for all middle and high school students to participate in some form of volunteer work as part of their curriculum.
I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward. Mark 9:41
Prayer: Oh Jehovah our God of love, please guide me to where my skills can best meet the needs to serve others, there by serve You. After all didn’t Jesus say;” Do not think the Son of man came to BE served, but rather the son of man came TO serve. In His kindhearted name I pray. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:9-10 New King James Version
We are all inherently wicked.
You do not believe me?
Check off how many of these you do in a day:
How many times do you look at a man or woman sexually?
How many times have you gotten angry because somebody cut you off in traffic or took “your” seat on the bus or subway?
How many times have you cheated, no matter how big or small, someone?
It could have been shortchanging a teller, queue jumped while waiting in a line at the grocery store or bus station or any other numerous ways?
How many times have you lied today?
How many times have you been rude and impatient with someone today?
The list can go on and on.
Oh woe is us.
Is there no remedy?
Thankfully for us, yes there is.
When we commit to living a Christian life and determine to live by the Holy Spirits guidance He will convict us when the seeds of this wickedness are planted in our minds and give us the power to rid ourselves of them.
Whenever a wicked thought enters m y mind the Holy Spirit quickly convicts me and I extradite the thought immediately.
Sometimes the wicked thought takes fruitation (like losing my temper) and then the Holy Spirit convicts me. When that happens I not only repent to my Beloved Father but also to the one I offended, with in reason. If I apologized to every woman I had a wicked thought about I would never leave the house and sometimes when you lose your temper with someone you may never see them again.
On the flip side how many women put that thought into a mans head with the way they dress and how many people are there that like to get under our skin to satisfy their perverted pleasure?
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (The Eternal Creator) for blessing me with creating in my life a life that is molded by the best potterer there ever was, the Holy Spirit. Because of the amazing blessing He directs my footsteps to walk in the light and delivered my from darkness. I praise you in the name of the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day
