Can You Count Them?

I remember what the Lord Jesus said, ‘I am more happy when I give than when I receive.’ ” Acts 20:35 The Holy Bible The New Living Translation

I have been blessed that it has always been easy to help others.

Sometimes, when reflecting back on the days activities with my Beloved, He reminds me of little things as well as big ones that have been done for others. Many times these good deeds are done out of second nature. We both share a good laugh and He is greatly thanked for the opportunity to share and help others He presented me with through out the day.

Helping others every day bring joy and meaning to my day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

But, here is the thing though.

You can be a revolutionary.

By observing your actions you can encourage others to be helpful and giving as well.

It is scary to begin this habit and we always need the Holy Spirits direction in where to go and who to help. When we surrender out will to His, He takes us to amazing places and helps us accomplish amazing feats. Oh, they will not make the six o’clock news but you can bet Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are clapping their hands in Heavens and smiling as they say: “What a wonderful child of mine they are. I love them so much and am so proud of them.”

Now, you do not need to do good deeds to attain Jehovah, Jesus or the Holy Spirits love and approval but just as they are good to you, so too are you to be good to others.

Have you ever though of all the good deeds you have done through out the day?

Can you count them?

Prayer: Thank you El Simchath Gili (Psalms 43:4 GOD My Exceeding Joy) for blessing me with oh so many opportunities to gain spiritual wealth by giving and sharing with those who are worthy of assistance. It makes my heart dance with ecstasy to know this brings joy to Your loving heart. I praise You in the name of He who gave His blood for me to experience the joy of being a child of Yours, Jesus Christ. Amen

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father. May you be blessed with plentiful opportunities to share these with those around you today. Joseph a son of Jehovah

When I was living in this city in Asia I used to buy food and give it to the beggars on the street. After a few months I noticed others were emulating my acts of kindness. At it did not click where the others got the idea of being so kind and generous until my eyes were opened by the Holy Spirit.

Your simple acts of kindness can be the beginning of a compounding act of love in your neighbourhood, in your city, in your province and in your country. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Glory, glory excelsior my adoring Jehovah Jireth (Genesis 22:14 The LORD Shall Provide) for blessing me with one of the most special gift of all, the gift of sharing with others. This blesses both of us as well as the receivers. I praise You in the name of He who shared so much of Himself with others and who I always attempt to emulate Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.   Joseph a son of Jehovah

I Like to Do It Incognito

“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. Matthew 6:1-4 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

CHRIST FIRST, OTHERS SECOND

The other day while walking down the hallway after visiting a friend in the hospital I noticed little plaques on the wall with names of folks who donated to the hospital. The bigger the donation, the bigger the plaque.

It was the same in a church I recently dropped off clothing to give to others for free. I could not help but think that although these were generous gifts they were given out of excess and were given to puff up the ego of the giver.

How many of the parishioners gave out of their meager wages denying themselves for the good of the church or hospital?

To me, these are the real generous givers.

It is the same when I watch folks running for a cause like cancer.

How many of them are running with selfie sticks?

Are they running for the cause of a cure for cancer or for the cause of puffing up themselves?

When I give, I like to do it incognito, because of the disdain for being applauded for it in public. Instead I always give thanks to Jehovah for the idea to give to that specif cause and for the opportunity to do so with great joy.

Give but give with the object of giving glory to Jehovah not to self. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Simchath Gili (Psalms 43:4 GOD My Exceeding Joy) for guiding where to give and how much to give to those who You deem worthy. Doing so creates a heart that beats with ecstatic joy in helping while giving glory to You magnificent name.                                       I praise You in the name of He who gave the ultimate sacrifice for me Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be blessed with abundant joy in your heart filled with love and your life overflowing with laughter every day this year. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.   Joseph a son of Jehovah

We are Saved By

For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God.Ephesians 2:8 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There are numerous cults (even within so called Christian churches) that preach that the only way to gain entry to Heaven is by pleasing Jehovah with good works (which is a form of bribery). If this is true then why did Christ have to suffer and die on a cross?

We do not do good deeds to gain Jehovahs love, we do good works because we are loved by Jehovah so they are a offering of love back in return unto Him.

“Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone; therefore we are saved by love.” Reinhold Niebuhr

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Christ Go’el (The Lord is my Redeemer) for redeeming me with Thy precious holy blood so as to be blessed with being a member of the Holiest of families. Thank you for the numerous opportunities to express my gratitude unto You and my loving Father in Heaven in a gift of love unto Youse. I exalt Thee in Thy most loving name. Amen

Wishing you a house full of sunshine, hearts full of cheer and love that grows deeper each day of the year. Welsh blessing

Your Kindness is Your Crown.

FROM THE HEART

Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:20 New International Version

Every time you as a Christian do an act of kindness to someone that places a beautiful jewel in the crown that Christ will present you with on entering Heaven.

Do not do acts of kindness just to get the crown, for then the act is meaningless.

It is only valuable to Jesus when you do your kindness out of love.

Then you get the valuable jewel in your crown to be given to you upon your entrance into heaven by our generous King.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) for all the numerous opportunities to do good deeds. I do them to give glory and praise to You for all You have abundantly blessed me with. I thank you that these acts of grace are jewels added to the crown You are preparing for me when we meet in heaven. I thank you in the name of he who wears the most beautiful and royal crown of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Whenever We Have the Opportunity

Image

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone–especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10 New King James Version

Have you experienced the latest craze going around?

Paying for someones coffee behind you?

Big deal.

I would rather spend that money and give it  to needy organizations than at some yuppie restaurant.

Yes we are to do good but it should be good where it is needed.

You want to do good?

Go visit a senior in a retirement home, they would love it.

You want to do good?

Be a reading buddy for a child with learning difficulties.

You want to do good?

Volunteer to clean the cages at the local animal shelter or are you too much of a princess or prince to get your hands dirty?

These are not a one off feel good deed but a long term commitment.

Yes it is important to do good like give your seat to an elderly, pregnant or disabled soul but lets talk long term commitment as well.

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2: New King James Version

Prayer: Please Jehovah Heseh (God of love) bless me today with opportunities to bless You by doing small good deeds but also guide me to where I may be blessed with a long term commitment to do good to give glory to Your awesome name. I humbly request this in the name of He who did the most good when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
