You can Make

 You can make many plans,   but the Lord’s purpose will prevail. Proverbs 19:21 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation  

Boy do I know this to be true.

In my early twenties I planned on living in a log cabin by a spring fed spring with great trout fishing in central Ontario on two acres of forested land. Events occurred where Jehovah had other plans for me and all those dreams faded like the morning fog on a hot day.

When doing medical missionary work in the Baja Mexico I met a Mexican woman and we fell in love. We intended upon getting married and buying a small house in the little town we were living in. Events occurred where Jehovah had other plans for me and all those dreams faded like the morning fog on a hot day.

While attending a Chinese church while doing missionary work (even though I was teaching English I was also teaching about Jesus to my students) I met a wonderful Christian Chinese woman. We fell in love. I intended upon becoming a landed immigrant and we were going to get married and buy an apartment (they do not have houses but apartments for the most part in China). Events occurred where Jehovah had other plans for me and all those dreams faded like the morning fog on a hot day. The same thing happened in two different cites I taught at.

Each of these events ripped my heart apart as my dreams vanished like waking from a dream. I felt crushed and as if my life was over. I was angry at Jehovah for allowing this.

Now, in my elder years, I can see His plans for me were very different than mine were.

Yes I still love those women and have fond memories of those times but am grateful for Jehovah for the plans He had for me. I firmly believe I shall meet those women I loved so dearly in Heavens home. If those events had of come to fruition I would never have served Him in the capacity He had intended and accomplished the tasks He had prepared for me to accomplish for Him. Because of this many would not have come to Jesus. I am grateful for this blessing He gave me through my obedience to Him.

We make our plans but Jehovah guides the way (even if it is in the opposite direction then we intend to go). Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireth (Genesis 22:14) – The LORD Shall Provide for always providing providence in my life to humble, loyally serve You. This is the greatest of honours of all. I thank you in the name of my Heavenly King which is my greatest delight to serve, Jesus Christ. Amen

They Talk Big but Act Little.

 Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.1 John 3:19 New Living Translation Bible

Do not allow the second  guessors to get you down, they talk big but act little.

Every time I have accomplished something there seems to be the second guessors coming out of the wood work. They tear everything apart as inadequate and or the wrong way. All the while they refuse to lift a finger to help. I just inform them point blank (because that is the only way they will listen) “If it is not good enough for you do not tell me show me the better way. If you cannot then shut up. I have work to do.” or: ”This is the way Jehovah has directed me to do the work. Are you saying your way is better than Gods? Talk about arrogant. Tisk, tisk.” then continue on with the work Jehovah has directed me to do in the manner in which He has directed me to do it.

The nay sayers shut up and leave me alone. Most consider me to be very rude when I do this but it is they that are rude and this is the only way to get the work done without being bothered by the Negative Nellies.

Now do not get me wrong, I am more than willing to listen to constructive criticism but not to those that just take delight in tearing down others work.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL (God, the Most Able) for blessing me with the visions to serve You and the skills and resources to enable me to accomplish Your great tasks to bring glory to Your name and to bring the lost to You. I revere You in the name of He who enabled His disciples to feed the five thousand Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

In Such a Way That .

 Focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]. Hebrews 12:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Jesus demonstrated His love for us at a high cost. Knowing and understanding this should create an awe and deep love for Him. Yes we are to exhibit towards Him by understanding, however He requires that we pass along His style of love towards others as an act of worship towards Him.

Love is an action not an emotion. Joseph a son of Jehovah

We accomplish this in our attitude towards others by not being arrogant nor abusive towards them but rather by being caring and respectful.

We serve Jehovah by serving with in our community. We need not be a missionary in some foreign land when there are ample opportunities all around us every day.

Of course we require knowledge of how to serve, when to serve and where to serve. Doing this on our own will only lead to disaster. We need the supreme teacher to instruct us in the way to accomplish the deeds Jehovah has prepared for us to do.

Now there is no sense in teaching someone to fish if they will never us those skills or go fishing in the first place. When the Holy Spirit enlightens us we are to be obedient and put into practice that which He has indoctrinated into us.

“The knowledge of Christ’s love for us should cause us to love Him in such a way that it is demonstrated in our attitude, conduct, and commitment to serve God. Spiritual maturity is marked by spiritual knowledge being put into action.” Edward Bedore

Prayer:I humbly ask of You Holy Spirit my master teacher to constantly instill in this child of the most Divine Love appropriate words, actions and thoughts of love which will exhibit my appreciation for such and wonderful gift He has blessed me with. I sincerely request this in the name of He who showed us Your Divine love when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen

One of the Most Important Parts Of

The secret [of the wise counsel] of the Lord is for those who fear Him,
And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning. Psalm 25:14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

One of the most important parts of this verse is those who fear Him. What this means in this context is those who respect Jehovah.

Think about it?

Would you waste your time trying to talk with someone who is rude and disrespectful towards you? And, quite probably very arrogant to boot.

Now, why would Jehovah waste His precious time speaking with a Mr. Know It All anyway. After all, according to them they know better than Jehovah to begin with so it is an exercise in futility to attempt to bless them with wise council.

As absurd as it sounds, I have met many that behave in just such a manner.

Of course there are times when we fall into this same category. Jehovah requests we do this but we believe we have a better way to accomplish the deed (which, of course, always leads to a pitiful disastrous failure.).

A covenant is a an agreement, usually formal, between two or more persons to do or not do something specified.

Now why would Jehovah waste His valuable time attempting to make an agreement with a disagreeable soul?

Yes Jehovah has a deep desire for us to join His esteemed family and to bless us however, as in every family there are always rules.

When you look at the Bible two important words are if and but. If you obey My commands you will be blessed but, if you disobey them you will be cursed.

Much of the Bible has deep meaning that its wisdom is bypassed by the disobedient.

When we agree to obey and respect our Heavenly Fathers covenant with us He will reveal incredible deep hidden meanings in His word.

So for example when Jesus says , “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, before Abraham was born, I Am.” John 8:58 The Holy Bible Amplified Version He is talking about the voice Abraham heard in the bush when he was commissioned to free the Israelite’s from Egyptian slavery which means He has no beginning and no end. This put Him on equal footing as Jehovah. This blows apart any heresy that says that Jesus is not Divine.

As in any family there are secrets that are shared with no one else. In this case what is the use, no one will believe Him anyway?

When you show respect and obedience unto Jehovah, you will be amazed at just what secrets He will reveal unto you. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Invite Your Audience Carefully

I recently read this and from plenty of experience agree with it one hundred percent.

Life is a Theater…Invite Your Audience Carefully                  

Not everyone is healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a DISTANCE. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not going anywhere relationships or friendships. 

 Observe the relationships around you. Pay close attention. Which ones lift and which ones lower? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don’t really understand, know or appreciate you?                                                                     

The more you seek quality, respect, growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you…the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the front row and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.           

Remember that the people we hang with will have an impact on both our lives and our outlook.                  

And so, we must be careful to choose the people we hang out with, as well as the information with which we feed our minds.                                                                                               

We should not share our dreams with negative people, nor feed our dreams with negative thoughts.

He Starts With an Impossibility.

But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.” Luke 18:27 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

In every major event of my growth in my walk with Christ it was always preceded by a extreme difficult time in my life. Each time the Lord was speaking to me to take a huge leap of faith in what He wanted me to do and where He wanted me to go. In obedience unto Him He orchestrated life changing alteration to my persona. Each procession involved taking what seemed like an impossible task. It was extremely challenging and painful, however in reflection I praise Him every day for His infinite wisdom, assistance, comfort and strength.

So, when, or if Jehovah is now, asking you to take that leap of faith it is strongly recommended that you step out into the unknown because it is there that He shall bless you with making Himself known to you.

“When God is about to do something great, he starts with a difficulty. When he is about to do something truly magnificent, he starts with an impossibility.” — Armin Gesswein

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Uzam (The Lord is our Strength in Trouble) for Your grace in using my troubles and woes to accomplish amazing feats in my life to bring glory, honour and the little lost sheep unto You. I praise You in the name of He who astounded those around Him with His fantastic grace Jesus Christ. Amen

This does not make sense.

 Now Jericho [a fortified city with high walls] was tightly closed because [of the people’s fear] of the sons of Israel; no one went out or came in.  The Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the mighty warriors. Now you shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do this [once each day] for six days. Also, seven priests shall carry seven trumpets [made] of rams’ horns ahead of the ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. When they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall cry out with a great shout (battle cry); and the wall of the city will fall down in its place, and the people shall go up, each man [going] straight ahead [climbing over the rubble].” Joshua 6:1-5  Holy Bible, Amplified Version                                       

This does not make sense.                                                                           

How many times have we said that when Jehovah tells us to do unconventional things and how He will work in unconventional ways.                                                 

Think of how Joshua felt? Imagine going and tell this great battle plan to the people? He must have felt like they would laugh at him because he was insane.                                 

Think of how the people felt as the Jerichoians laughed at them while they were obeying Jehovahs ingenious battle plans. Of course we know how it turned out for Joshua but we do not see how it is going to work out for us when we obey Jehovahs unusual advice.    

But there are three things to notice: One: Jehovah will teach us during this event to have complete trust  in Him even when it does not make sense.

Two: because of the exceptional manner in which Jehovah completes His plans all glory goes to Him.

Three when we obey we will be a part of a fantastic victory that can only be accomplish through Jehovah.

Many times Jehovahs plans seem crazy to the world, which is one reason I like obeying them so much. Besides, I love being a part of those incredible adventures with Him, I like being His side kick. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you El Deah, God of knowledge, for blessing me with the awesome honour of being Your side kick in Your mind boggling plans both great and small. I praise You in the name of He whose Divine plan it was to sacrifice Himself for me before recorded time began Jesus Christ which still confuses those in the world today. Amen.

He Has Told You.

 He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]? There is no excuse.

Jehovah has told you and you are to obey.

We are to be just. That means there is no discrimination towards those of a different colour, nationality, sex or income than what we have. There is the original equality law for you. We are to be loving.

That means not just helping other but correcting them when they are wrong ( which the satanic liberally wrong).

That does not mean a feel good event like donating to the food bank at Christmas but making a commitment to help those in poverty get out of it.

It means we are to have compassion on the disadvantaged like seniors and the disabled. We are to help them with our fellowship and encouragement.

That means we are not to be annoying, self centered twits that believes the whole world revolves around us but are to be respectful and courteous to both Jehovah and to those around us.

Now we all need His guidance and strength to accomplish this every day. That is why we need to ask for and obey the Holy Spirits wisdom which He freely and generously gives to all who asks with humbleness and sincerity.

Prayer: Please Jesus Christ Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) bless this humble servant of Your with an obedient heart in my service unto You my cherished King. I sincerely request this in You magnanimous name. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Never Existed Before.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version

Just think there is only one like you. You are an original. There was never anyone like you and never will be again.

So why do you try to fit in with the crowd?

I remember this really bad TV show that everyone was watching. When I asked my friends if they liked it, they confided in me that they thought the show was boring and crappy. When I asked them why they watched it their reply was always the same: because everybody else is.

Now God created you for a special purpose that only you can accomplish.

When you give your life over to Jesus that makes Him your king. As such the King has a special assignment just for you His servant.

To know what that is takes honest and sincere prayer.

He has always answered me in unusual ways. Sometimes it was with a small advertisement in a newspaper, sometimes it was a sermon, sometimes it was a talk with a friend.

When your calling is revealed it will sometimes be one that takes a leap of faith.

But know this, all calling are important or else Christ would not waste your time and His.

If your calling is to be a stay at home mother it is just as important as a missionary (stay at home mothers have a very important calling, molding the next generation of Jehovahs children).

If your calling is  to be a waitress or waiter the work you do is very important. Your attitude can change someones day and indeed their life.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) for blessing me with a special assignment to bring glory and honour to Your cherished name and for the wonderful opportunity to bring someone into Your sanctified family. You Can do Everything.

I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. Job 42:2 New King James Version

Sometimes what you would like to do you cannot accomplish.

Sometimes what politicians would like to do they cannot do.

Sometimes things churches would like to do, they cannot do.

But, if Jehovah wants it to be done, it will be done. Nothing or no one can stop Him.

There were all kinds of obstacles that were in the way of Him accomplishing what He desired in my life. He swatted them away like flies.

Put your faith in Him and be amazed at what he can and will do in your life.

Go out and look at the stars at night and just think, if Jehovah can create all of those stars do you really think He cannot accomplish His desire for you in His service or help with problems in your life?

 

He has done so many things in my life that I believed were impossible that I could write a book about them.

 

It may not be accomplished in a day or week, it may take years.

For me some things He did not accomplish my requests for years.

That was good because He taught me so much in that time. One thing He taught me was to have faith in Him and to have patience.

I always thought I was a patient man until becoming a Christian. Then I learned what real patience really is.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (God the creator) for being so patient and determined to mold this, at times, stubborn child into the obedient child You have desired for me to be. You have accomplished numerous amazing things in my life and through my life. I is a treasured honour to be one of Your works in progress. I exalt You in the name of the most patient of molders of lumpy clay Jesus Christ. Amen.
