Can You Count Them?

I remember what the Lord Jesus said, ‘I am more happy when I give than when I receive.’ ” Acts 20:35 The Holy Bible The New Living Translation

I have been blessed that it has always been easy to help others. Sometimes when reflecting back on the days activities with my Beloved, He reminds me of little things as well as big ones that have been done for others. Many times these good deeds are done out of second nature. We both share a good laugh and He is greatly thanked for the opportunity to share and help others He presented me with through out the day.

Helping others every day bring joy and meaning to my day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

But, here is the thing though. You can be a revolutionary.

By observing your actions you can encourage others to be helpful and giving as well. It is scary to begin this habit and we always need the Holy Spirits direction in where to go and who to help. When we surrender out will to His, He takes us to amazing places and helps us accomplish amazing feats.

Oh, they will not make the six o’clock news but you can bet Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are clapping their hands in Heavens and smiling as they say: “What a wonderful child of mine they are. I love them so much and am so proud of them.”

Now, you do not need to do good deeds to attain Jehovah, Jesus or the Holy Spirits love and approval but just as they are good to you, so too are you to be good to others.

Have you ever thought of all the good deeds you have done through out the day?

Can you count them?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El SIMCHAH GIYL (God my Exceeding Joy John 15:11 ) for blessing me with the greatest treasure of all, loving joy, which can only be attained by sharing with others. I thank you in the name of the greatest treasure of all, Jesus Christ. Amen

The greatest treasure is that of the heart. The only way to enlarge it is to share it with others. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Love Always Involves

complete deditacation

Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord 2 Corinthians 5:11 New Living Translation Bible

Yes, as Christians we have a responsibility unto Jesus. He is our King and we are to serve Him.

Fearful in this context means being respectful. That means we are not to go before the King (in other words we are not to choose the type of service we offer to Christ but must be obedient unto His calling in life). We are not to sit on our hands and do nothing either. When the King calls we are to take responsibility and move where, when and how He asks us to. We are to take responsibility and do the work He has assigned for us to do.

I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to you; I will praise your name, O Lord, for it is good. Psalm 54:6 New Living Translation Bible

Yes, as Christians we are to give sacrifices unto Jehovah. That pleases Him.

No these sacrifices are not animals nor humans.

These are sacrifices of love, joy and gratitude.

Because Jehovah has blessed us we are to share the blessing with others and not hoard it. Our offering of the one tenth of everything is a sacrifice to Jehovah. That means not just money but if growing a garden the first one tenth is to be given to Jehovah. May I suggest you talk with a local church to share with the working poor, or the elderly that are on limited pensions or those that are sick or hurt and cannot work.

After seeing the lazy ungrateful welfare bums that go to food banks and soup kitchens I refuse to donate to them. That is a waste.

Sacrifice on tenth of your time. Again, go to a church and ask where they need help. It may be cutting the lawn or visiting someone in the hospital or seniors home.

“Love always involves responsibility, and love always involves sacrifice. And we do not really love Christ unless we are prepared to face His task and to take up His Cross.” — William Barclay

Prayer: It is an honour Jesus Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) to suffer my Beloved King for You as You have suffered for me. It brings greater appreciation for the sacrifice You made for me. I extol You in Your magnificent loving name. Amen

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.

Did You Know That?

GOD IS WITH US

“Now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God — all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in making us friends of God” (Romans 5:11 New Living Testament).

Do you know that?

Do you know that when you accept Jesus Christ as your savior He instantly becomes your best friend?

Wow!

What an awesome thought huh?

Now just as with humans in order for there to be a friendship, we need to have the same interest and desire to share time together.

Do you enjoy spending time with your best friend?

Do you read His love letters to you, the Bible on a daily basis? For a deeper understanding of His love letters may I suggest  Our Daily Journal from RBC and Our Daily Bread by RBC.

Do you listen to His love songs for you, how much time do you spend listening to Christian music? May I suggest Praise 1065 and Joy Fm (St Louis or Florida).

I would like to suggest going to church, however, from a personal experience I find too many wolves amongst the sheep there (please read 2 Timothy 3:15 to see what I experience in church).

Do you listen to His message to you? I like going to seromonaudio.com and listening to Alistair Begg, Charles Spurgon Vance Havener and A.W. Tozer.

Now what makes people friends?

Could it be because they enjoy dong the same thing?

Well what did Jesus do when He was here?

Here is His guide to enjoy camaraderie with Him

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25: 34-40 New International Version

Speaking from personal experience,  in Canada, I have found doing volunteer work extremely rewarding. Both, in personal satisfaction and the knowledge that is was making my best friend very happy.

So how is your relationship going with your best buddy?

To fall in love with God is the greatest of all romances; To seek him, the greatest adventure; To find him, the greatest human achievement. Raphael Simon

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pryyand (Jesus my friend) for being my best friend and honoring my with such special moments as when we walk together and talk together. I gratefully give thanks in You loving name. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day

Did My Soul Become.

The one who is taught the word [of God] is to share all good things. Galatians 6:6 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

This is something I believe is needed in our society today. Instead of the me generation we need to be teaching the younger generation the We Generation.

So many folks are chasing after pleasure in the material world only to discover that there is an emptiness inside them. That emptiness is love for others.

I do not know of any who volunteer in the community that suffers depression.

The greatest treasure is the richness of the heart. The only way to enrich yourself in this treasure is to give it away. The more you give away the greater your treasure will be. Joseph a son of Jehovah

As well, when the community is involved in doing volunteer work within the community there will be less vandalism because folks have invested time in the community. So if people volunteer to do clean up in a park they are less likely to vandalize it. When they go and cut the grass or shovel the snow out of a needy neighbours property they will be less likely to vandalize it or do a break and enter there.

The less I spent on myself, the more I gave to others, the fuller of happiness and blessing did my soul become. –Hudson Taylor Prayer:

Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for blessing me with teaching me how to be loving towards others and then providing me with ample opportunities to exhibit Your divine love within my local community. I exalt Thee in the name of He who was and is the perfect example of love Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. It is in our greatest time of need that we grow the closest to Christ.

But Be Wise.

If anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 Holy  Bible Amplified Version

I live in a farming community. When a boy it was understood that if you wanted to eat you had to work.

Today farmers bring in off shore workers because the welfare bums refuse to go out an do an honest days work. They believe they should be pampered and given everything with no effort on their own behalf. This goes down through generations. Yes they are bums.

Bums are described as a person who avoids work and sponges on others; loafer; idler. They avoid work like the plague, they are idle and always getting into trouble, usually with alcohol and drugs and yes they are parasites of society living off of others because we have to pay for their laziness with our taxes.

Instead of the liberals cry babying about how bad these dregs of society are why not force them to go out and earn their keep?

They do not appreciate help when given to them because they believe it is owed to them.

I know of many food banks and soup kitchens that have closed down because these bums demand money from the volunteers and threaten them if they do not give them money, in many instances the police were called. Finally they could not get any volunteers so it had to be closed down. Instead of using their free loading money (welfare) to buy food they go out and get tattoos and drugs and then cry because they have no food and expect us to feed them. I unfortunately see it all to frequently here.

Instead why not have churches support working families in their own church or of neighbors they know who are the working poor?

The flip side of the coin is these big corporations that are constantly cry babying  (scamming) for money to help folks in the third world countries. The CEO’S make millions a year in salary and the feeble trickle of money that does go to the countries goes to corrupt government leaders. The other problem is that these NGO’s put the local businesses out of business.

Why not put money into investments to help the local folks in those countries start their own business?

The other one is for these big corporations asking for money to help cure disease or to help the local hospitals. Again the CEO’s make millions and why do we pay money for taxes if not to be used for health care?

Be generous but be wise in where you give. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) for blessing me with speaking to me and guiding me to use the resources You provide me with to invest them wisely. I thank you in the name of He who is the wisest of all Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

In Their Blind Conceit

Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have no fear of God at all. In their blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really are.” Psalm 36:1-2 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Conceit is described in the dictionary as: an often unjustified feeling of being pleased with oneself or with one’s situation or achievements

I have met so many that are so full of themselves that it is painful to be around them for more that two minutes. They think the whole world revolves around them. They cannot say a sentence without glorifying themselves. They are the epitome of arrogance.

Of course they only live for themselves.

They lie, steal, cheat and do anything to glorify themselves and bring luxury to themselves.

This is their downfall because they are very lonely (who wants to be around a braggart?).

They are susceptible to alcohol and drug abuse. Because they drool at being with the in crowd they fall for the lies that drug and alcohol abuse is fun. Using drugs and alcohol brings short term pleasure that leads to a life time of hell. Yeah it is fun to start with but becomes addictive and you become its slave. It is a cruel master.

I have done volunteer work with addicts and the same story is repeated with every one of them. It started out as fun with their buddies but soon became addictive. In the end, it destroyed their lives. I have met many that were successful by the worlds standards (doctors, lawyers and such) that had their lives destroyed by alcohol and drugs and were homeless.

We are all one step from the gutter, that is why we need Christ to guide our steps away from it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

“Sin has a diminishing factor to it. It always gives it’s best in the beginning. It never gets better after that … it only gets worse.” — Mark Aulson

Prayer: Please Jehovah Hoshe’ah – ( The Lord Saves ) save me from the deceptive snares of addictions that destroy the body, mind and spirit. I humbly request this in the name of He who is the strongest defense against these whiles Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

The Master of Our Passions

“Oh Lord, become the master of our passions, and the creator of our desires.” R. Marklund

Too many times today I hear elderly parents cry that their children and grandchildren have deserted them. The only time they call is when they want money. They are selfish, arrogant and ungrateful.

Who taught them that?

In Asia they are called Little Emperors and Little Empress’. Their mothers and grandmothers spoiled them rotten when they were children. Now they are lazy, arrogant, ungrateful and selfish. They have nothing to do with their parents and grandparents.

Instead of teaching their children love, respect, caring, sharing, and to be appreciative they taught them to whine until they got what they wanted. That they are so special, that happiness comes only from material things. Then they complain because their children grow up to be disrespectful, greedy, shallow, self centered materialistic brats who shun the parents and grandparents.

Most parents and grandparents spent lavishly on these brats while doing without for themselves.

Now they are poor and in need of help. Their children are cold and cold care less.

The parents and grandparents wail about their fate yet it was they themselves who created these monsters.

I was shocked when I returned to Canada from a ten year hiatus of teaching in China to see with disgust the same scenario repeatedly occurring here.

Being a care giver for my elderly mother I hear the same stories from her friends.

Doing volunteer work in a seniors home it is shocking to see and hear it from the residents the neglect of their children and grandchildren. So many of them have been thrown in there to die and never see their children or grandchildren except on Christmas. Yet, they themselves worshipped their children and grandchildren when they were young and now are abandoned by them. The only time they call is when they want money but if the parents or grandparents want any help the children and grandchildren are “too busy” to help.

Perhaps that is why Jehovah tells us to love Him above all others. It is because He loves us more than anyone could or would. He will never abuse us, leave us nor desert us.

And Jesus replied to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ Matthew 22:37  The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Idols always break the hearts of their worshippers.” C.S.Lewis

Prayer: Please my wonderful Jehovah Heseh (God is love) bless me to always have a heart that is faithful unto You and to worship only You as You are the only one worthy of praise, worship and stewardship. I humbly request this in the name of He who emulates what it is like to be Your Holy child Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
