Lessons Satan Taught Me

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

I have found satan constantly torments me when I am swimming laps.

I do three different types of strokes for fifteen minutes each.

He constantly torments me that I am too tiered, the time is too long, my body is too old to do these anymore. You almost did fifteen minutes why not quit now.

I persist in continuing and at the end feel pretty good about the accomplishment.

If satan constantly torments me in the pool, think of how much he torments each of us in our daily walk with Jesus and to just slack off a little bit here and there or not bother with this or that as Christ is directing us. We can put it off or quit early.

I do not believe The Holy Spirit will help us but that we must make the commitment ourselves to be obedient unto Christ rather than the world.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immeka (Judges 6:12 The LORD Is with You ) for blessing me with The Holy Spirit to encourage me to succeed while satan it tormenting me to surrender in defeat. I praise You in the name of He who defeated satan on the cross, Jesus Christ.

AmenSeleh- stop and think about it.

The Bible and our Sanctification

Almost everything we do daily ultimately involves spiritual warfare. Are we depending on the human weapons, or the spiritual weapons God has provided?

Our battle is not with flesh and blood (Eph. 6:10ffMatt. 16:18). No battle with the unseen is easy. We cannot fight such a spiritual battle with carnal weapons.

One of the marvelous things the Holy Spirit does in the Christian’s life is to apply the Scriptures to the deep recesses of the mind over a period of time. As we meditate and memorize the Scriptures the Holy Spirit brings them to our conscious mind and we are able to put our confidence and trust in the Lord during trials, temptations, difficulties, and turbulent times. I am convinced the Spirit also uses His Word in that part of our mental life that is not within the immediate presence of our conscious mind and from which we cannot always recall the feelings and thoughts to our conscious mind. The Holy Spirit uses those Scriptures we have studied and memorized to conform even our subconscious mind to the likeness of Christ.

The Psalmist David wrote, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any hurtful way to me, and lead me in the everlasting way” (Psalm 139:23-24).

The apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 10:1-7 tells us that we are in a spiritual warfare and the Christian’s weapons are not “according to the flesh” (v. 2). “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh” (v. 3). We do not act on purely human, abilities and worldly standards. Flesh is the willing human instrument of sin. We live in this frail, human body of weakness, but our spiritual “weapons of warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses” (v. 4).

Goodspeed described these “fortresses” or “strongholds entrenchments and fortifications of opinion, in which men strengthen themselves against the gospel.” They belong to the realm of the will and intellect. This metaphor recognizes the defiant and mutinous nature of sin.

The apostle Paul tells us how God destroys or tears down and overpowers these forces that are against the kingdom of God. “We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” (v. 5). In the next verse Paul tells us to act on what we know to be the truth of God. “And we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete” (v. 6).

What are these “fortifications” against the kingdom of God? They are “speculations,” reasoning, a thought which are the things we reckon or count on. The word suggests the contemplation of actions as a result of the verdict of conscience. Every evil act begins with a desire which was at first only a feeling in the heart, but which, being nourished long enough, became an evil act (James 4:1-3).

The “lofty things” are the metaphor of a summit or mountain, a high thing lifted up as a barrier or in antagonistic exaltation. It is anything that “is raised up against the knowledge of God.”

They are also “every thought” that is opposed to Christ. What are you saying to yourself about Jesus Christ, the LORD God, the Holy Spirit and His will for your life? It is in the realm of the thoughts, cognitions, and intentions of man’s mind, our thinking processes, design, that produces our emotions and behaviors. The apostle admonishes us to take “every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”

Are we “ready to punish all disobedience”? That is where the battle is won or lost. We tend to focus on the outward visible works of the flesh, but the battle is spiritual, that which is unseen to the human eyes.

These prisoners the apostle Paul has in mind are the thoughts—the cognitions of man’s mind, and they are everyone led captive into the obedience of Christ.

It is imperative in this spiritual warfare that we submit our minds daily to the Word of God. Our understanding should be brought into captivity, led submissive, as though bound with handcuffs. We take captive every design to make it obedient to Christ. We make them a prisoner of Jesus Christ. As a person thinks in his heart so is he. Our thinking controls our emotions and behavior. “Every thought of whatever kind” refers to the perceptive or intellective center of our being and they must be brought into submission to Christ.

“Once the walls of the mind have been torn down, the door to the heart can be opened,” says Warren Wiersbe. “Paul is the most daring of the thinkers,” says A. T. Robertson, “but he lays all of his thoughts at the feet of Jesus.” The great apostle is academically free in Christ.

It is our responsibility as we abide in the Spirit to take captive in the hidden realms of our personality, which are the imaginations, that can take over and we find ourselves involved in a thousand things that we would be embarrassed for our friends and family to know (Matt. 15:19-20). It is this principle of evil in the heart that must be brought into subjection to Christ. Bring into submission to Christ all that is not holy and all that is not true in your mind and heart. God works in our souls to increasingly take control of our total being. When we acquaint ourselves with God He gives us a deep peace of mind and heart that passes all understanding. Thus He gives us a purity of heart, and that is where the spiritual battle must take place daily. Our whole being can thus be filled with God, even in the hidden areas of our personalities. “Our battle is to bring down every deceptive fantasy and every imposing defense that men erect against the true knowledge of God” (2 Cor. 10:5, Phillips).

SELAH! Pause – reflect- just think of that!

Jesus is My

For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.  So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. Romans 5:8-11 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

Jesus is my best friend as well as Jehovah They are the best friend anyone could ever have.

He is always there to talk with when problems arise (and because no one is wiser than Him, He always blesses us with the best advice).

He is there to comfort us when we are in sorrow, He understands because He experienced it here on earth when He walked among us.

He is there to warn us when danger lies ahead, He is better than any horoscope.

When someone tries to wage war against us, He is there to fight the battle for us or gives us the weapons to defeat our foes. He is there to share in our victories.

He is there to make us laugh, you have not really gotten to know Jesus until you have experienced His wonderful sense of humor.

He is there to share quiet times with us, those are the most special times for me.

The more we trust Jehovah the more we surrender to Him. The more we surrender to Him the deeper we fall in love with Him. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pyrrand (God my best friend Romans 5:11) for blessing me with the best friend there could ever be. In the deepest gratitude I thank you in the name of my special friend Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Will Guard Your

do not be afraid

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have known a lot of war in my life.

The war of worry.

This plagues me with restless nights, bad health and nervous disposition. The only way to be victorious in this war is to lay it at the feet of my Beloved Heavenly Father. He sends the Holy Spirit to reassure me, comfort me and encourage me. He reminds me that everything is in His hands and that everything will work out for my good

The war of fear.

This battle leaves me timid and restless. The only way to be victorious in this war is to lay it at the feet of my Beloved Heavenly Father. He sends the Holy Spirit to reassure me, comfort me and encourage me. He reminds me that everything is in His hands and that He will always supply for my needs.

The war of anger and hatred (this includes jealousy).

This war boils the brain so it cannot function properly. It steals all joy and love from my soul. The only way to be victorious in this war is to lay it at the feet of my Beloved Heavenly Father. He sends the Holy Spirit to reassure me, comfort me and encourage me. He reminds me that the important thing to stay focused on is that those who unjustly inflict pain or sorrow on me shall be punished by His vengeful hand.

The war of loneliness.

The feeling of being unloved and all alone. A feeling so heavy it causes physical pain in my heart and great sobbing. The only way to be victorious in this war is to lay it at the feet of my Beloved Heavenly Father. He sends the Holy Spirit to reassure me, comfort me and encourage me. He reminds me that the important thing to stay focused on is that He loves me with a love that no other can compare with. That He is always with me and has a house built with love awaiting me in His Heavenly home.

The best security system there ever can be is the one wrapped up in Jehovahs loving arms. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Gador Milchamah (The Lord is Mighty in Battle) for providing me with the weapons to defeat satan in his battle against my mind and spirit. This unbeatable weapon of course is You Holy Love. I praise You in the name of my most precious lover Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

This is Why There is So Much

LAUGH AT FOOLS

For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4  The Holy Bible Amplified Version

This is why there is so much violence today. Folks try to fight spiritual battle on their own and fail miserably. The demons are far wiser and stronger than we. They know our weaknesses and how to manipulate them to perpetrate evil on those around us. They laugh because they not destroy us but those around us. The idiots of the world (liberals) mock the spiritual world and arrogantly try reason and logic. The demons can easily manipulate these for their own nefarious ends. They easily make fools out of liberals (not that they need any help in that category).

We as Christians have the supreme weapon to defeat the spiritual battle before it manifests itself into the physical one. He is the Holy Spirit. He will not only enlighten us to the demons heinous plans but the power to defeat them in our own lives and sometimes in others.

Concerning others there may be nothing in our arsenal but prayer. Do not take that tool lightly for the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. Do not think for a moment we are not in constant battle against the wicked ones. This is especially true for those that are close to Christ. They will stop at nothing (but the force of the Holy Spirit) to destroy our loving relationship with Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Do not worry about this because The Holy Spirit is always with us. That does not mean we can play with the devil and expect the Holy Spirit to rescue us either.

There is a price to pay for foolishness. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ganan (The Lord is Our Defence) for blessing me with the best defensive weapon to defeat the wicked satan and his evil parasites when they attempt to destroy our loving relationship. Thank you for enlightening me to their wicked plans and how to thwart them. I praise You in the name of He who defeated Satan and his henchmen on the cross and the empty tomb Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.

Taking Matters Into Your Own Hands.

WAIT UPON GOD

Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. And when he went out the second day, behold, two Hebrew men were fighting, and he said to the one who did the wrong, “Why are you striking your companion?” Then he said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” So Moses feared and said, “Surely this thing is known!” When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well. Exodus 2:11-15 Holy Bible  New King James Version

Taking matters into your own hands leads to disaster. Depending upon Jehovah leads to success. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Revenge is where you want to hurt somebody worse for doing you wrong. Then they get some family and friends and get you back worse. After that you get some of your family and friends and extract even worse revenge on the perpetrators.

That is how wars start.

Even today in many parts of the world there are groups that hate each other because of something that was done centuries or even eons ago.

When I was tree planting and we had some Africans working with us we could not have certain groups in the same camp. If they were they would try to kill each other on site with axes, shovels and what ever they could get their hands on. It is insanity at its worst.

In the United States the Hatfields and Macoys was a real event that lasted about a hundred years. In Canada we had the Black Donlleys which ended in a bloody massacre.

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for God’s wrath [and His judicial righteousness]; for it is written [in Scripture], “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

The Christian is to pray for the perpetrators to be moved unto repentance and have faith that if they persist in their evil, wicked ways Jehovah will punish them appropriately.

I have witnessed Jehovahs vengeance against those who wronged my and I can assure you it is a terrifying site to see.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Hashopet (The Lord is the supreme Judge) for being the wisest and fairest Judge of them all and for vindicating me in You time and in Your way. Please bring all those who have unfairly persecuted me to a repentant heart so as to avoid Your terrible judgment. I humbly request this in the name of the Supreme Judge on the day of judgment Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

The Attacks Will be on You

“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 ) King James Version
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). King James Version
I don’t know about you, but my worst tribulations came from those who were close to me before coming to Christ. They were the ones that constantly inflicted the most anguish and pain on me. So much so I had to move thousands of miles away from them. The pain I bore was almost unbearable and intense.
About a year later again someone close to me that was an unbeliever caused a lot of grief and tribulation in my life. That time it was not as severe though as I had the knowledge from the previous one and knew Jesus was with me every step of the way.
The closer you get to God, the more the attacks are going to be on you and the more severe they will be. Satan knows your weak points and that is where he will unmercifully attack you to destroy you.
Do not be afraid though. For we have the greatest champion in our corner who makes the devil scurry away like a freighted rat when a light is shone on them. His mighty name is JESUS CHRIST. He defeated satan on the cross and will defeat Him every time he attempts to destroy you.

CHRIST DEFEATS DEMONS

Oh for sure you will suffer. But, in the end that will make you stronger so you can withstand the vile wicked one when the next attack comes.

Do not get cocky though and believe you can take the devil on yourself. That is the sure fire way to humiliating defeat.

Instead know that when you are tortured or tempted to the breaking point that is when Jesus comes charging in like a raging fierce warrior to your rescue.

These attacks will occur throughout your entire life until you are called to your magnificent home in Heaven. Then you will realize all those battles were worth it.

Prayer: Jehovah Shammah (The Lord is present) thank you for coming to my rescue during the intense battles between satan and me. I know he is smarter than me and stronger. But, you are the smartest and strongest. You have promised to save me in my hour of need and I believe you always keep your word. In the name of our
great protector Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day.
