Are You Going to Drown?

FOLLOW JESUS

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt? When we take our eyes off of Jesus we are heading for spiritual fall. Joseph a son of Jehovah

What can take our eyes off of Jesus?

Which on of these categories do you fall into: there is problems in my family ( instead of fretting about these problems and being a dingbat and trying to fix them yourself, why not do the wise thing and give it over to Jesus. He will send the best guidance councilor, the Holy Spirit to help you.),

I need money. I don’t think there has been a time since money was made when people didn’t have this concern. Again rely on Jesus to supply your needs. Didn’t He promise He would take care of us when He said:” Seek you first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.”

I’m sick. Now this is the time to get into deep relationship with God because that is when you are weak and through His divine strength He will help you. He may not cure you but give you the strength to endure it.

When we keep our eyes focused on Jesus He will give us everything we need to handle any crisis.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrew 4: 16 New Living Translation)

You know, one time I was going through the most painful experience in my life. It was recovering from a terribly abusive relationship. In my deep anguish I, a broken man, sobbed to Jesus to come and rescue me from this pit of hell. Through an internet Pen Pals site and a Christian radio program I noticed while searching the internet (Focus on the Family I was introduced to loving caring Christian councilors that helped lift me out of that hell and heal me. I am forever indebted to both them and my wonderful Jesus for bringing them into my life at that moment.

Now my whole commitment is unto Jehovah God our beloved Abba.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ori (the Lord is my Light) Psalm 27:1 for blessing me with being the bright light that guides my life. May I follow it all the way to Heavens Gate. I praise You in the name of the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen

Cannot be Perfected Without Adversity.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We all suffer through trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares.

The difference is that those of us in Jehovahs family is there to comfort us, encourage us, heal us and guide us through them.

Those of the world depend upon their own faulty understanding, power and logic and or that of so called professionals to no avail. They suffer far greater.

The closer we get to Christ, the more we are going to suffer. The more we suffer, the closer we get to Christ. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Many times when we are enduring hard times and we call out to Jehovah it seems as if there is no answer. Do not be discouraged. He loves you and will not ever desert you.

When you reflect back on it you will see Jehovah burning off the dross (the bad dispositions in you) and teaching you.

This fills me with awe and amazing joy, love and respect that I have such an amazing God, it will you as well.

Of course there is going to be a battle between you and satan.

He sees you getting close to Christ and he is infuriated. He will show no mercy in his attacks to destroy this incredible loving relationship.

Sometimes Jehovah will allow you to fight your own battles and each time you do your warrior skills against this filth will be enlarged. You will sing for joy unto Jehovah in your victory. Think of Job at the end of his suffering. This will bring you closer to our Warrior King.

Other times the battle is too strong for you and the Holy Spirit will come  to rescue  you. Again your relationship with Christ will be closer than before.

“A gem cannot be polished without friction; the child of God cannot be perfected without adversity.” — Author Unknown

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator) for using adversity to polish off the dross in my life so that I am a beautiful jewel in Your eyes and in Your heart. I extol Thee in the name of the most precious jewel of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Like the Blistering Heat.

When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, But the righteous has an everlasting foundation Proverbs 10:25  Holy Bible Amplified Version

Like the blistering heat of the noon sun pounding down upon a man so too does the all encompassing oppression of sorrow, oppression and temptation consume the righteous and wicked alike.

The difference is that there is no relief for the wicked.

But: Like a soft gentle morning dew that quenches the bodies thirst so too comes the loving healing comfort relief of Jehovahs balm to the righteous. The righteous in exhalation cannot but life their hands and voices in sweet joyous song unto Jehovah Ropheka : “The Lord Who Heals God our healer, Jehovah Mephalti God our deliverer, and Jehovah Nacham God our comforter. Truly all praise, glory and honour belong unto Jehovah Heseh the God of love.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for blessing me with always walking with me through my many trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares. If it were not for Your Divine grace I would never have made it through these fiery experiences. I praise You in the name of He who walked through the storms on the sea with His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

The Right Confession.

REPENT

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. James 5:16 New International Version

What I believe James is referring to here is when we do or say something wrong to another we are to confess what we did or said and apologize (that by the way is what repent means).

This does not mean we are to apologize for thoughts we have but never said.

Let’s face it, if we did that we would spend most of time apologizing wouldn’t we and it would be very embarrassing as well?

Think of the things people would be apologizing to you for.

Would you really want to hear that?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) bless me with the Confession, strength, wisdom  and grace to sincerely and humbly apologize to _________  (write in the name of someone, whether Christian or not, to whom you need to apologize to) for _________ (write in the offense you committed).

Please use this as an opportunity to heal any wounds that were inflicted and use this as an opportunity for us to grow stronger in our relationship.

I request this from the deepest part of my heart in the name of He who taught His disciples how to repent after His resurrection Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

How Can Darkness Walk in Light?

That God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5 King James Version

CONFESS

Do you wonder why it feels as if Jehovah is far from you and you do not feel intimate with Him?
Could it be unrepentant sin in your life?
Repent means not only to apologize but to stop doing it.

Is there something in your personal relationships that needs attention and you are neglecting it?   Is there someone you need to sit down and have a talk with but keep putting it off? Is there something at school or work t or are not doing and know you should be like maybe you should stop pilfering at work on the photocopier?

Whatever it is it is the darkness of sin.

It is impossible for God to dwell in sin.

So how is it possible for you to have a relationship with Him if you are walking where He is not?
Why not repent and renew your loving, joyful relationship with our beloved Father again?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Ropheka (God our Sheppard) always guide me to heal any and all broken relationships in my life so that they do not impede the most important relationship of all and that is the one with You.I humbly request this in the name of He who paid the supreme price for our reconciliation Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
