There once was a popular song about doing it my way style of life. Those that live that life are selfish, egocentric, proud and stubborn. They gladly use and abuse others just to get what they want. When cannot get what they want or do not need them anymore, they through them away like rubbish.

They hate and hold in utter contempt those that walk with integrity and obedience to Christ. They do so because when they see us, our lifestyle and manner convicts them ( we do not verbally convict them, it is our lifestyle they hate ). Deep down inside they know they are evil and wicked and the ultimate reward for this lifestyle is the bowels of Hell and eternal damnation.

Hell is full of the proud, Heaven is full of the humble. Chose now because you will not have that choice on judgment day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah for sending me The Holy Spirit ‘Ori ( the Lord is my Light) Psalm 27:1 ) to guide the light of the path to Heaven You have chosen for me to travel. I pray You bless me to be a light to guide those walking in darkness to Your Divine Light. I humbly request this in the name of the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. Amen

I Know This is Not True.

 

Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. Psalm 37:18 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

Having walked with my Beloved for over forty years I know this is not true. There have been times when my Love did not supply my needs.

But, that was not His fault, it was mine.

He asked me to go here and I stubbornly refused to and went there. So, of course I did not receive the blessing.

“Men do not reject the Jehovah because He contradicts Himself but because He contradicts them.” Paul Harvey

Think of it like this: a rich man informs a homeless man that he will buy him all the groceries he wants if he meets him at a certain grocery store at a certain time. The homeless man goes to a fast food restaurant instead. A few days later they meet again and the homeless man demands to know where the rich man was. The rich man informs the homeless man he was waiting for him at the grocery store.

If you desire Jehovah to meet your daily needs, you must agree to His commands. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Now of course we know that the inheritance is our eternal home in Heaven.

Prayer: Thank you oh gracious Jehovah Jireth (Genesis 22:14) – The LORD Shall Provide for blessing me with Your providential sustenance every day. Thank you for blessing me with providing me with a wonderful beautiful home in Heaven when I come into Your loving arms. I exalt You in the name of He whose cherished blood made it all possible Jesus Christ. Amen

The deep breath.

How do you Keep self control?

Most times when I feel a situation getting out of control I just step back and take a few deep breaths.

It is important to keep self control, ESPECIALLY, when teaching.

Sometimes as frustrating as it is people just do not see the obvious, through no fault of their own. Then it is time to just drop it and pray they will come to understand what you are saying. Usually the students get it with in a few weeks of contemplating it.

Sometimes however, when the frustration is overwhelming and they are being a pain in the butt and being antagonist I slam my fist into a wall.(EDITORS NOTE: I do not do this any more. Now I merely inform them if they want to learn they are welcome in my class. If they do not want to learn, there is the door, do not slam it on the way out. Some leave, which makes the class better, the ones that stay straighten right up)

It is not in anger, it is releasing the frustration. It gets their attention and they back away. It is not that they do not understand, it is that they do not WANT to understand. Then just walk away.

If they are stubborn and refuse to see it any way but their way I just call it like it is:” You are stupid and stubborn. I will not speak to you until you apologize and are willing to maturely discuss this.” Don’t talk with them for a couple of days. They usually come around. Stupidness and stubbornness goes together like smoking and cancer. Trying to reason with a stubborn soul is like talking to a wall. I do not waste my time talking to walls.

Sometimes they are just too self centered and then it is best to avoid them altogether because they will do nothing but bring you anger, pain and frustration.

My motto is “Avoid aggressive, self centered people. They will only pollute your heart with anger and sadness.” Joseph a son of Jehovah                                              It has held me in good steed.

Now if it is an addiction get counseling.

Find out why you have that addiction and remove it from you. If you are a drug addict or alcoholic that will mean giving up your friends. They will only continue to pull you back down into that cesspool again. Sometimes the addiction is too strong for you to conquer and that is the time to completely surrender it to Jesus. I did and He instantly defeated my addiction and I have not returned in over ten years. Now, He may or may not instantly relieve you like He did me.

Editors note: since writing this article I have been taught by the Holy Spirit to pray when feeling like losing control. He either calms me down or encourages me to immediately remove myself from the situation which is causing me to lose my self control.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) – Psalm 27:1 for blessing me with the strength, sensitivity to know when I am being baited and the wisdom to either leave the situation or the wisdom to use the right words to defend myself and defeat the wicked foe. I exalt You in the name of He whose words both healed and cut like a knife Jesus Christ. Amen May

Prayers for Caregivers-A Prayer to Speak With

A Prayer to Speak with Love and Respect

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” Mark 10:27 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

My Love please bless me with the ability to communicate with those You have placed in my care in a manner in which they will understand what I am saying.

Please bless me with the ability to understand what they are trying to communicate with me.

Please my Beloved bless me that You will guide my words this day to bring encouragement and love.

Please strengthen me to bide my tongue to not lash out with hurtful words when disputes erupt. When the fires start to flare when they are being stubborn and obstinate, please bless me to close my eyes and to call out unto You to bring peace into the conversation.

And with the wisdom to know when to walk away because of the futility in the conversation.

Bless me with the ability to come back later and speak with respectful authority to which they must succumb to.

Please bless us to be loving and respectful towards each other as You and I are loving and respectful towards each other.

I humbly request this in the name of He whose speech was always respectful and loving Jesus Christ. Amen

How Much Less Will We

 See to it that you do not refuse [to listen to] Him who is speaking [to you now]. For if those [sons of Israel] did not escape when they refused [to listen to] him who warned them on earth [revealing God’s will], how much less will we escape if we turn our backs on Him who warns from heaven? Hebrews 12:25 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Be fair warned. Just as Jehovah gave ample warning to the Israelites before the hammer came down on them hard so too does He warn us. You ignore Him at your own peril.

Now I do not believe Jehovah will curse you with plagues however what He does is just tell you: “Okay, you refuse to listen to me and stubbornly insist on going your own ways, fine. I will just step back and allow you to reap the rewards of your destructive lifestyle.” Then you will suffer like you have never suffered before. In your suffering you will cry out unto Him to deliver you from these catastrophes but just as you turned your back on Him and refused to listen to Him, so too does He turn His back on you and refuse to listen to you.

Now if you repent with sincerity (repent means you admit what you did, admit it was wrong, ask for forgiveness and stop doing it), He is loving and will forgive you. You must however still pay the price for your wicked ways. So say you murdered someone and are on death row. He will not deliver you from the execution but when you die you will not face His eternal judgment for that crime when you sincerely repent.

I have seen it so much in my life.

Some folks when they were young they laughed and thought they were getting away with it but they paid a very heavy price for their sins in their elder years. It aches the heart to watch to happen to those you know but they are harvesting what they planted. 

Turn your back on Jehovah and He will turn His back on you. Joseph a son of Jehovah

 Prayer: I pray my Beloved Jehovah Ghmolah (The God of Recompense) that I may never be idiotic enough to turn my back on You. I have witnessed the terrible consequences of such foolishness and it fills me with terror. As well my love, our loving relationship is the most priceless treasure You have blessed me with and I would be left in a spiritual lonely desert if I was ever that stupid to turn my back on You. I sincerely request this in the name of the light that guides me into an ever deeper sphere of Divine love with You Jesus Christ. Amen  

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.  

In Faithfulness You Have

“Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word. It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes. I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.” (Psalm 119:67, 71, 75) The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Some times intentionally some times unintentionally, we all stray from Christ. He will send the Holy Spirit to guide you back to Him.

If you are stubborn and obstinate, He loves you too much to allow you to walk down the path of ruin so He will send you affliction to bring you back.

I believe that happens to all of us Christians no matter how long we have walked with our Heavenly best friend (Jesus).

When you go astray Jehovah will afflict you to bring you back to the fold like a good parent disciplines their child when they are naughty. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Naheh (the Lord who Smites) for smiting me when I have gone astray of the path You have chosen for this humble servant to take. I understand that sometimes You have to be the oak even though You prefer to be a willow. I exalt You in the name of the King who administers appropriate means to correct His servants Jesus Christ. Amen

There Should be a Melting

My son, do not reject or take lightly the discipline of the Lord [learn from your mistakes and the testing that comes from His correction through discipline]. Proverbs 3:11 The Holy Bible Amplified Version 

It is in the fire of the burning off of the dross that my Heavenly Father completely destroyed destructive traits in my disposition. It was extremely painful but I am eternally grateful for Him for blessing me this necessary action.

We all have bad dispositions, both good and bad, we have inherited from our parents. That is natural.

Removing the destructive ones can only be accomplished super naturally. There is no one superior to Jehovahs super powers.

Now notice that I mentioned dispositions. We all have more than one. The more we more have the more we will be put into the fire. The more we resist the fire the longer we will be in it until we surrender to our Lords will and power in our lives.

Speaking personally, I have been put in that fire so many times and been in there so long I am surprised I do not have a permanent sun burn (I used to be a little stubborn).

”For a Christian to defy adversities is to “despise” chastisement. Instead of hardening himself to endure stoically, there should be a melting of the heart.” — Arthur W. Pink

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Naheh (the Lord who Smites) with smiting me Your rod of adversity whenever I am a disobedient child of Yours or when it is necessary to purge me of harmful dispositions with in my character. It is necessary so that I may become more pure in Your eyes and for my interaction with those around me. I praise You in the name of He whose anger at wickedness caused Him to strike the unrepentant money changers in Your temple Jesus Christ. Amen

Commit Your Works

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].Proverbs 16:3 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Most times I have attempted to accomplish anything on my own it always failed miserably.

When I submitted my plans to Jehovah, He may have suggested not to attempt them.

Being stubborn and independent I refused to listen to Him and the end result was always a disaster. Many times I have submitted my plans to Jehovah and He graciously suggested tweaks to them. I felt insulted and refused to listen to Him. The end result was complete failure.

It took many decades to learn to take every plan to Him and be obedient unto His guidance, no matter how weird or unconventional they were, which has led to successes like I never could have dreamed possible.

If you wish for success in life, first take your plans to He who is the best Guidance Councillor, Jehovah. Then listen and obey Him. This is the sure fire recipe for success in life. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you El-Deah God of knowledge for blessing me with Your infinite knowledge of the best course of action to take in every aspect of my life. It prevents a lot of disaster and guarantees success. I praise You for this cherished treasure in the name of the wisest Teacher of all Jesus Christ. Amen

I would Not Look at You.

 Elisha said, “As the Lord of hosts (armies) lives, before whom I stand, were it not that I have regard for Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you nor see you [king of Israel]. 2 Kings 3:14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Sometimes it is because of the righteous that the wicked are not punished (at that moment) but they will be punished in Jehovah’s way and in Him time.

Notice that it is because the king of Judah was an obedient servant of Jehovah that the Holy man spoke.

Many times the wicked will receive guidance from the righteous because of their association with a righteous man or woman. They come for advice because of what they want to hear not what they need to hear. When what they need to hear is told to them they hate the messenger and will stubbornly refuse the Godly advice given unto them. The whole meeting is a waste of their time and the man or woman of Gods time. Because they refuse to listen to the Godly advice they meet their doom.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) for blessing me with softly speaking to my heart not to waste my times with the wicked ones who blatantly reject you and walk in the path of wickedness. It saves me so much frustration and sorrow. I extol Thee in the name of He who walks away from those who refuse to open the door of their hearts when He comes a knocking Jesus Christ. Amen.
