I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Psalm 37:25 New King James Version
This verse is very significant to me.
There have been three times in my life where I worked hard and had a nice little nest egg set aside for my retirement. Through circumstances beyond my control I was wiped out each and every time.
Then I dedicated my life to serving the Lord.
In my many decades of serving the Lord none of the places I have served Him have left me financially independent.
One day I was very afraid because after my last assignment was completed I felt I was too old to get any work and would be left destitute.
I prayed to my Love and posted it on line for others to pray for me as well.
The next day I felt compelled to read the above verse.
An old missionary who has walked this walk before wrote me and said the same thing as the above verse .
The two combined left me with a feeling of security knowing that the Lord will never leave me nor desert me.
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. Isaiah 46:4New International Version
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for promising to never leave me nor forsake me even in my old age. I praise You in the name of this servants king Christ Jesus Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day

This is very encouraging to those of us who struggle to make ends meet in our old age. God always provides!

Yes it is comforting and reassuring. We may not live extravagantly but will always live comfortably
