It Changes Me.

CONTINUAL CONVERSATION

Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Being persistent means to make it a habit.

Make it a habit to commune with our Beloved first thing in the morning.

Make it a habit to commune with Him through out the day.

Make it a habit to commune with Him before bed.

Make Him your choicest companion in which you share all of your hurts and dreams. Share with Him in your victory and defeats.

In each of these thank Jehovah. Thank Him that He listens to you.

Thank Him that He cares about you.

Thank Him that He always wants what is best for you (this is especially important in our defeats and when His answer for our dreams are not answered in the way in which we desire).

Have faith in His providence that He only wants what is best for you even when it does not seem like it to you.

Prayer does not change things but rather it changes me. Sincere prayer opens us up to Holy communion with our Beloved Father in Heaven. As we commune with Him our prayers are less self centred (gimme, gimme, gimme) and more Christ centred (Lord I desire to be like You.) and more personal, like a conversation between two loving friends. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pyyrand (Jesus my best friend) for blessing me with the Holy Spirit to teach me the proper manner in which to converse with You and to make it the most joyful habit I have. I Your wonderful name I pray. Amen.

Christ blesses us with love, peace and joy. May you be blessed with many opportunities to share these with others today.

For That I am Eternally Grateful

NEVER ENDING LOVE AFFAIR

My whole being follows hard after You and clings closely to You; Your right hand upholds me. Psalm 63:8 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

In my younger days I dreamt of living in a log cabin on land purchased. Through circumstances out of my control, it was taken away from me. At the time there was a lot of anger and bitterness because of it. However, today there is deep gratitude because if life was spent in that log cabin Jehovah would not have been able to accomplish numerous amazing thing in me and through me. These experiences drew me ever closer to Him. For that I am eternally grateful.

At one time there was a nice size nest egg being built up for retirement. Through circumstances out of my control the nest egg was crushed and destroyed. At the time I was bitter and angry. Now there is deep gratitude because that needed to occur in order for my Beloved Heavenly Father to teach me to depend upon Him alone. For that I am eternally grateful.

I have learned to cling close to Him in a loving relationship like no other can begin to match. For that I am eternally grateful.

God takes away the world, that the heart may cleave more to Him in sincerity.” — Thomas Watson

Prayer:Thank you Jehovah THEOPHILUS (friend of God) for blessing me with purging me of all desire for worldly things all of which cannot compare to the most awesome friendship there could ever possibly be, that with You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is my most treasured gift that I am eternally grateful for. I thank you in the name of my best friend Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Every Generation of Christians Has to Learn

ABUNDANT BLESSINGS

“Take heed and be careful, do not turn to wickedness, For you have chosen this [the vice of complaining against God] rather than [learning from] affliction. Job 36:21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Have you ever been around a Whining Wendy? You know the type, they only cry baby about how hard their life is. They can suck the joy out of you faster than a vacuum cleaner.

If you think that is a terrible experience for you, think of how it feels to Jehovah when those who are supposed to be His children are always complaining to Him and never thanking Him.

Here is the thing though, when you are a whine puppy you have nothing but dark clouds around you and infect those around you. No one wants to be around you, do you think Jehovah does?

When you are grateful for even the smallest of blessings you have the sunshine of joy in your heart no matter what your circumstances are.

That sunshine will guide others to the source of the brightest sunshine of joy of all, Jehovah. Take time every morning and evening to thank Jehovah for every blessing you can think that He has shared with you. As you develop this habit you will find yourself thanking Jehovah more and more throughout the day. It takes practice and commitment but after a while it becomes as natural as breathing.

“Every generation of Christians has to learn that whining is an affront against God’s sovereignty and goodness.” D. A. Carson

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for Your unlimited grace You have abundantly provide for me every day. May my heart be filled with gratitude towards You every moment of every day. I heartfeltedly thank You in the name of He who always had a heart of gratitude towards You to show how it was done when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. AMEN

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

It Was For My Benefit.

FOLLOW YOUR WAYS

Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back. Isaiah 38:17 New International Version

Many times in my life I wanted to go my own way. In this foolishness I was heading for disaster. Jehovah allowed me to travel the path only so long and then brought circumstances to me which brought about much anguish. At the time I called out to Him and cried asking Him why He was doing this to me. I mistakenly believed He was punishing me. In reality He was guiding me away from destruction.

When I repented (which means not only being remorseful but to stop doing those destructive things) I felt clean as He washed my sins from me.

Then came the time to take huge steps of faith in obedience to where he was leading me and to what He intended for me to do.

The process involved smashing the old me like a vase and remoulding me on His divine potters wheel to be the servant He had intended for me to be.

Each step of the way I am sure it brought praise to His name in what I accomplished for Him which is why He did it.   Yes it was to bring others into His kingdom through me obedient service to Him but it was also for my benefit. When I see those now who stayed on the same path as I was on thirty years ago I praise my Beloved for rescuing me from such horrible destruction.

Gods preparation for greatness in His kingdom is often filled with difficult preparation Os Hillman

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rohi (God is our Sheppard) for guiding this sometimes wayward sheep of Yours back into Your divine flock that is heading to a Heavenly pasture. I apologize for occasionally being an obstinate child which needs Your firm discipline to redirect him on Your chosen path. I exalt You in the name of the greatest Sheppard Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day.

The Best Retirement Guarantee.

DEVINE PLANS

I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Psalm 37:25  New King James Version

This verse is very significant to me.

There have been three times in my life where I worked hard and had a nice little nest egg set aside for my retirement. Through circumstances beyond my control I was wiped out each and every time.

Then I dedicated my life to serving the Lord.

In my many decades of serving the Lord none of the places I have served Him have left me financially independent.

One day I was very afraid because after my last assignment was completed I felt I was too old to get any work and would be left destitute.

I prayed to my Love and posted it on line for others to pray for me as well.

The next day I felt compelled to read the above verse.

An old missionary who has walked this walk before wrote me and said the same thing as the above verse .

The two combined left me with a feeling of security knowing that the Lord will never leave me nor desert me.

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. Isaiah 46:4New International Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for promising to never leave me nor forsake me even in my old age. I praise You in the name of this servants king Christ Jesus Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day
