But God Isn’t.

BE STRONG AND WAIT

Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord. Psalm 27:14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

In todays instant society it is difficult to learn to wait. That is good because it teaches patience and faith.

It is a little better for my generation and those preceding me because we grew up waiting a lot, that was just a part of life.

However, it is still difficult waiting when it is not day or weeks but years that we have to wait.

Jehovah is not only a giving God but a God of wisdom.

Many times when we respectfully ask of Him and He does not answer right away it is because we are not mature enough to receive the gift.

Would you give a motorcycle to an eight year old child (I have seen many idiot parents do so with disastrous results and then blame everyone but themselves for their own stupidity)? Why not? Because they are not mature enough to handle and care for it that is why.

Every time we take matters in our own hands and attempt to get what we ask for instead of waiting for Jehovah it ends in disaster.

“The trouble is that I’m in a hurry, but God isn’t.” — Phillips Brooks

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for always being so wise and faithful so as to bless me with Your blessings in the appropriate time and manner. Thank you that through this process You have taught me patience and faith in Your providence. May I be blessed to emulate this blessing of patience with all those that I encounter today. I praise You in the name of He who had super natural patience with His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Boy What an Answer.

DELIVERANCE COMES FROM THE LORD

This morning has begun early, waking up at one a.m. After suffering through a night of night sweats and weird dreams. I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms from cigarettes. I thanked my Beloved for them because I knew that these must occur when the poison is being eliminated from the body, having confidence that this time He will help see me through this to a successful conclusion. The very first morning devotional had these verses in them Psalm 46:10 (New International Version)
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Isaiah 43:2 (VOICE)
When you face stormy seas I will be there with you with endurance and calm; you will not be engulfed in raging rivers. If it seems like you’re walking through fire with flames licking at your limbs, keep going; you won’t be burned.

Psalm 62:5-6 New Living Testament)
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.

Psalm 34:17-18 New Living Testament)
The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Psalm 73:26 (New Living Testament)
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.

Isaiah 41:1 MSG)
Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.

Exodus 33:14 (New Iinternational Version)
The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 (New Living Testament)
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Joshua 1:9 (New Living Testament)
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Ephesians 3:16-17 (New Living Testament)
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

John 14:16-17 (NKJV)
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Psalm 5:3 (New International Version)
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

Psalm 63:8 (VOICE)
My soul clings to You; Your right hand reaches down and holds me up.

Romans 8:38-39 (New Living Testament)
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Boy what an answer He gave me. Prayer: Thank you my Beloved Jehovah-Mephalti (The Lord my Deliverer) for blessing me with these encouraging words that delivers me from the temptations endured during this difficult time. I exalt You in the name of He who delivers us all from sin Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

An Unvigilant Christian is The

FALL AWAY JOSEPHS QUOTES

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8, 9 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Imagine walking down a trail and you find lion tracks. Would you be carefree and continue or would you be very vigilant as you continue down that trail?

We walk down that trail every day.

The trail of life must be walked upon but one must be vigilant to be aware of the dangers upon that trail.

The devil will roar at you with  which must be met with the counter attack of scripture and with confidence in that scripture.

He is always looking for the weak which is why we need communion with Christ every day and why we need to read and digest the powerful words of Scripture to keep us strong to defend ourselves from his wicked attack.

He is tricky and can make dung look like sugar to entice us to destructive vices.

That is why we need to depend upon the Holy Spirit to protect us and to warn us. How can we if we refuse to commune with Him daily?

An unvigilant Christian is the easiest pray for satan. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with the Holy Spirit to protect me from the snares which the evil ones lay to entrap me and for the guidance to avoid them in my daily walk with You. I praise You in the name of He who always outwitted the wicked ones Jesus Christ. Amen.

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I am More Afraid Of.

Their eye bulges from fatness [they have more than the heart desires]; The imaginations of their mind run riot [with foolishness]. Psalm 73:7 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

In each of us dwells the flesh.

We need the assistance of the Holy Spirit to keep it under control.

There is no one who ever goes a day without sinful thoughts.

How many men (married or single) do not look at a woman with lust?

How many women do not have envy in their hearts for those who are not more beautiful than they or have a better outfit than them?

The list is endless.

It is when we dwell upon fleshly desires that they take root and the root desires the thought to take action.

That is why we need the Holy Spirit to make us aware of these thoughts and how wrong they are. That is why we need the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts away from the world and towards Christ.

I am more afraid of my own heart than of the pope and all his cardinals. I have within me the great pope, Self.” Martin Luther

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for blessing me that You guard my heart diligently and protect me from myself for I am weak and simple minded compared to Your magnificent wisdom. I exalt Thee in the name of the strongest of them all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

He was Leading Me.

This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says, “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit (benefit), Who leads you in the way that you should go.”Isaiah 48:17 Holy  Bible Amplified Version

Through out my walk with Christ I never knew where He was leading me. Most times I thought He was leading me here, all the while He was leading me someplace completely different to do things I never dreamed of (and a lot of times never even heard of).

For example: I thought He was leading me to the big city to go to a certain school so that when I graduated I would have a high paying job. After graduation I never did get a job in that vocation.

Through baby steps He guided me to schools to learn natural medicine (which I have been using quite successfully for over thirty five years now). As well through volunteer work in a hospital He taught me a lot about caring for those who were sick or injured.

These two fields held me in good steed in the next step of His choice in my life.

It has taken decades but now even though most times I do not know where He is guiding or what service He intends for me to accomplish, I have complete confidence in His Divine leadership.

“I know not the way God leads me, but well do I know my Guide.” Martin Luther

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rohi ( Jesus is our Divine Shepherd ) for being so patient, kind, strong and wise in leading this difficult sheep with in Your Divine flock. I exalt You in the name of the nest Sheppard of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

In Their Blind Conceit

Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have no fear of God at all. In their blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really are.” Psalm 36:1-2 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Conceit is described in the dictionary as: an often unjustified feeling of being pleased with oneself or with one’s situation or achievements

I have met so many that are so full of themselves that it is painful to be around them for more that two minutes. They think the whole world revolves around them. They cannot say a sentence without glorifying themselves. They are the epitome of arrogance.

Of course they only live for themselves.

They lie, steal, cheat and do anything to glorify themselves and bring luxury to themselves.

This is their downfall because they are very lonely (who wants to be around a braggart?).

They are susceptible to alcohol and drug abuse. Because they drool at being with the in crowd they fall for the lies that drug and alcohol abuse is fun. Using drugs and alcohol brings short term pleasure that leads to a life time of hell. Yeah it is fun to start with but becomes addictive and you become its slave. It is a cruel master.

I have done volunteer work with addicts and the same story is repeated with every one of them. It started out as fun with their buddies but soon became addictive. In the end, it destroyed their lives. I have met many that were successful by the worlds standards (doctors, lawyers and such) that had their lives destroyed by alcohol and drugs and were homeless.

We are all one step from the gutter, that is why we need Christ to guide our steps away from it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

“Sin has a diminishing factor to it. It always gives it’s best in the beginning. It never gets better after that … it only gets worse.” — Mark Aulson

Prayer: Please Jehovah Hoshe’ah – ( The Lord Saves ) save me from the deceptive snares of addictions that destroy the body, mind and spirit. I humbly request this in the name of He who is the strongest defense against these whiles Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
