Does Not Give Us

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Psalm 32 : 8 Holy Bible New Living Translation

I have learned the hard way that going my way leads to disaster, going Jehovahs way always leads to success. It took me many decades to learn this. That does not mean it will be easy. As a matter of a fact, it will be very difficult. That is good because it brings us closer to Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

He has promised His guidance is the only true way to go. I know this to be true. Along the way He always provides just the right amount for success.

Why give more than is required, it will only go to waste like the manna in the desert with the Israelis with Moses. He has promised He will never leave us nor forsake us. I know this to be true.

God does not give us everything we want, but He does fulfill all His promises . . . leading us along the best and straightest paths to Himself.” — Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with allowing me to travel down paths that led only to unfulfillment, pain and sorrow. It was necessary to bring me onto the path to the most fabulous love affair there could ever be, that between You and me. Thank you for leading me into Your loving eternal arms. In the deepest gratitude from this adoring child of Your, thank you in the name of He who is always with me Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah Holy Bible, Amplified Version

It Is Such a Waste.

I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the Lord my God; I have done everything you commanded me. Deuteronomy 26:14 New International Version.

How many religions are there where sacrifices are made to appease dead relatives?  I know some religions burn sacrifices of wives if the husband dies (I wonder why the husband is not burned alive if the wife dies first?). There are others where they burn money and toy cars and homes.

Is that not a waste of resources? The dead cannot use these things when they pass on.  They are either in hell or they are in heaven.

Neither of these places can these sacrifices be useful.

If anything would it not be better to offer the money to help the needy in honour of the recently departed?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) bless me with the wisdom on where and how much to share with others wisely, especially when receiving an inheritance, so as to honour You and them. I humbly ask this in the name of He who offered the most precious offering of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
