He Has Been There.

BROKENHEARTED

He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Isaiah 53:3 New King James Version

No matter what we are going through, Jesus has already been there.

Have you been betrayed by a loved one?

Was Jesus not betrayed by Judas? Are you rejected by family and friends?

Did Jesus’ family not only reject Him but make fun of Him? Did Peter not deny Christ?

Are you suffering from the loss of a loved one?

How do you think Jesus felt at Lazarus’ grave?

Are you homeless?

Did Jesus and His disciples not sleep outside more than they did in palaces?

Are you hungry ?

How do you think Jesus felt when tempted in the wilderness?

Are you battling corruption and it seems as if everyone is against you?

How do you think Jesus felt with the Scribes and Pharisees?

So no matter what you are experiencing you can unload it on Jesus, He understands because He has already been there.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pryyand (Jesus my friend) that I can always confide in You when sorrows and tribulations are crushing down on me. I thank you in Your loving, healing and caring name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day

Why They Do Not Understand

Image

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14 New King James Version

When I was a tree planter we were living in tens in recently harvested forests about one hundred miles from the nearest town. The work is extremely difficult and the lifestyle is diametrically opposite of city social life. We had to work as a team, and become mature mentally. The camp became like a family.

There was a two week break between the spring planting season and the summer.

Many rookies could not wait to get back to their friends and family in the city.

I would try to explain it to them that over a six week period they have changed. When they go home they will have nothing in common with their friends. When they try to explain to friends and family the work and lifestyle they will not understand. They will not understand because they have not lived the experience.

When they went home it happened exactly as I explained and they could not wait to get back to the camp.

So too it is with Christians when they try to explain to non-Christians family and friends and co-workers why they have changes since becoming a Christian. They do not understand because they have not experienced Christ and it will seem like foolishness to them.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) for blessing me with speaking to my heart and bringing me into Your holy family. Please bless me with the wisdom, grace and meekness to explain to those who I know who are not a member of Your holy family he sweetness of Your divine love. If they refuse to listen please heal the hurt that it causes in my heart and give me the strength to endure their ridicule and mistreatment. I humbly ask this in the name of He who was rejected and ridiculed by His earthly family when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
