To You, O Lord

GODS DELIGHTS

To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on You with steadfast confidence],
Do not let me be ashamed
or my hope in You be disappointed;
Do not let my enemies triumph over me.
Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed;
Those who turn away from what is right
and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed). Let me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You [and only You] I wait [expectantly] all the day long.
Remember, O Lord, Your [tender] compassion and Your loving kindnesses, For they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
According to Your loving kindness remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. Good and upright is the Lord;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.
All the paths of the Lord are loving kindness and goodness and truth and faithfulness To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
For Your name’s sake, O Lord, Pardon my wickedness and my guilt, for they are great. Who is the man who fears the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with submissive wonder]? He will teach him [through His word] in the way he should choose. His soul will dwell in prosperity and goodness, And his descendants will inherit the land.
The secret [of the wise counsel] of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning.
My eyes are continually toward the Lord, For He will bring my feet out of the net. Turn to me [Lord] and be gracious to me, For I am alone and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are multiplied; Bring me out of my distresses. Look upon my affliction and my trouble, And forgive all my sins.
Look upon my enemies, for they are many; They hate me with cruel and violent hatred. Guard my soul and rescue me; Do not let me be ashamed or disappointed, For I have taken refuge in You. Let integrity and uprightness protect me, For I wait [expectantly] for You. Psalm 25 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

This pretty much describes my attitude and behaviour towards my all knowing, all delivering, all encouraging, all loving all forgiving incredible Heavenly Father, Supreme King and Wise Teacher.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for being so loving towards me in that You always supply me with the right amount of what I need, when I need it. You are so amazing. I exalt You in the great name of He who always supplied His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father. May you be blessed with plentiful opportunities to share these with those around you today.

Will Guide Them

LOOKING TO HEAVEN

 The integrity and moral courage of the upright will guide them, But the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them. Proverbs 11:3 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have experienced in my own personal life the benefits of having Godly integrity. Integrity means adherence to moral and ethical principals and being honest. The best place to learn and incorporate integrity is in the Bible under the tutorship of the Holy Spirit. He has never led me wrong.

Yes many times it seemed as if I was standing alone against an overwhelming strong number but stood my ground.

I may not have gained physically but certainly gained tremendously in my relationship with my Heavenly Beloved (which is all that matters to me).

Yes most times it took courage but it also took the power of the Holy Spirit to help me have the strength and fortitude to stand upon the rock of righteousness when all was against me. We have all heard the saying:short term pain for long time gain.

As well I have witnessed the opposite. Short term gain for long time loss. I have witnessed many treacherous folks take unscrupulous means to get gain only to lose it all and suffer worse than when they began when the time of righteousness comes a calling.

I take the high ground because it ultimately leads to Heaven. All others lead to Hell. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

Prayer:Thank you Jehovah-Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for blessing me with Your wise tutorship to learn and incorporate into my life Your Divine integrity. It has blessed me with avoiding much paspiritual wealthin and sorrow in my life and has brought me ever closer to You as You continue to instruct me in the path of righteousness. I exalt You in the name of He who always walked in righteousness Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Are They Shooting Themselves in the Foot?

HARD WORK

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,  treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3:2-5New International Version

Recently I was talking with a volunteer at a soup kitchen about people arriving early and demanding the doors be open before it is ready, people eating half their plates of food, people coming in drunk, children running around screaming and parents laughing about it.

Then there was on news how many churches are closing their doors for soup kitchens and the homeless because they do not feel safe.

Are they shooting themselves in the foot and then cry babying because they are so disadvantaged?

They believe welfare is their right and are too lazy to go out and get a job?

Supporting them is unchristlike.

For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10New King James Version

When I was volunteering at soup kitchens and offered them work they would laugh and say : “That is what you people do to pay for my welfare.”

Are these people shooting themselves in the foot?

Instead of cry babying about how disadvantaged they are why not try to get a job and be respectful of the people trying to help you?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for always providing for me on the condition that I do my part and put forth the effort as well. I praise you in the name of He who did Your work all the way o the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
