He Can Do the Impossible.

faith in the future

For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13New King James Version

Have you ever been given a “mission impossible” by Jehovah?

You know, when He asks you to do something and you do not have the recourses to do it, skill to do it or experience to do it.

More than once I accused Jehovah of being crazy. You want me to do what? Are You crazy? You want me to go where? Are You crazy?

The thing is though, He always starts me out with small tasks. As I am more and more obedient to Him and reliant upon Him to provide for the task to be completed He gives me more challenging tasks

That may not sound too inviting in our do as little as possible and demand as much as possible world but the bonus is that the more obedient we are to our Master (if Jesus is our King then we are His servants) the more He reveals just how awesome and amazing He is. This creates a more respectful, awestruck and loving heart towards Him and we develop a strong loving relationship with Him.

Wow, what an incredible bonus huh?

“God is looking for those with whom He can do the impossible what a pity that we plan only the things that we can do by ourselves.” A. W. Tozer

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for blessing me with amazing adventures as I am Your obedient child in which You always provide for me. Thank you that this blesses me with a deer understanding, love and respect for You my cherished Heavenly Father. I exalt You in the name of my awesome King Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day

Bring Praise to God

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7 New International Version.

Just because they are different is no justification for rejecting them.

If you have ever travelled like I have or live in a multi cultural society like I do you will experience many different cultures and customs that are strange to you. Do not laugh at them and belittle them like I have seen so many do. I talk with them and ask them to explain those customs and discover very interesting history.

It is the same with wealth and poverty. I have lived with generous souls both rich and poor and was rewarded with eye opening experiences that have enriched my life. So do not be a snob because someone is richer or poorer that you.

Just because someone has a medical disability is no reason to look down on them. I have met many who have great spiritual strength blessed upon them because of their disabilities.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yehew (God of His people) bless me to see and accept others with love and respect just as Your loving son did when He walked amongst us. I humbly ask this in His beautiful name Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

They Bring Themselves Down

The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for them, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness. Proverbs 11:5, New International Version

When we live a righteous life it is one of obedience.

As such we follow the path Jehovah has laid out for us to travel to accomplish the work He has assigned for each of us to do. We need not bother with the question of why we are here or what are we accomplishing with our lives. Our Sheppard is our guide.

On the other hand those who live according to their own belief in what is right and what is wrong will be brought down hard.

Remember that fellow who taught that greed is good? Is he out of prison yet?

Remember that famous porno star from the seventies? Hasn’t he died from aids yet?

Oh you may be stupid enough to actually believe you are getting away with it but time is on Jehovahs side.

I have seen Him slowly (in order to provide them with an opportunity to repent) bring down those who strode around on a high horse. Their lives ended miserably.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Shammah (God is present) guide my every step to be in harmony with You as we walk the trail in this life You have chosen for me to travel on my journey to Heaven. I meekly ask this in the name of Your most obedient son Christ Jesus. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
