I do not know, [only] God knows. 2 Corinthians 12:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version
There has been so many times when trials and tribulations have struck without warning in my life (matter of a fact almost all the time). I call out unto Jehovah and ask Him why I had no warning and why it was happening. He is silent. That is a good thing. He does not inform me because there would be terror in my heart at the foreordained knowledge of what was coming. He does not inform me because either He is in the process of molding me through this event or He is testing me through it.
He does not allow me to know how long it will last. There is good reason for that. If I knew how long it would last it may seem too long a time or I would become complacent in the knowledge that it will only last for a while.
So, when you are going through and difficulty and Jehovah is silent, there is a good reason for it.
No, He is not angry with you, although this may be an event to discipline you.
No, He has not deserted you, He loves you too much to ever desert you.
“There are three things that only God knows: the beginning of things, the cause of things and the end of things.” Welsh Proverb
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for blessing me with events in my life that You have used to burn off the dross to create in me a righteous heart and life of dedication unto You. Thank you for not forewarning me of these events becasue they would be too terrible for me to grasp at the time. Thank you that through these events You strengthen my faith in You. I exalt Thee in the name of He who trusted You all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day.
