Be Careful of the Words You

For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. Matthew 7:2 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

Be careful of the words you say to someone today (especially the young ones), it may affect them the rest of their lives.

I grew up with very strong negative inputs in my life. I was constantly reminded of what a failure I was and that nothing was going to come of me. After moving away from these Negative Neliies it took me many decades to gain confidence in myself and that I was not a failure. The Holy Spirit had His work cut out with me. I like to say that I have succeeded in life in spite of those around me not because of them.

The good thing about this is that I was extremely sensitive to my children when a teacher.

No, I did not give them false beliefs like so many today that they can accomplish anything they desire and put their mind to. I did explain to them that sometimes there are things you cannot do but that does not make you a failure.

I did not puff them up when they succeeded but did praise and encourage them to expand their skills and knowledge from a sincere heart for their good.

They knew it and loved teacher for it.

I often wonder just how much I influenced their lives for good by my example.

And just remember this: what goes around, comes around. As you do unto others, so too will it be done back unto you. I have seen it oh so many times and believe me, it ain’t pretty.

“It is easier to ridicule than commend.” — Thomas Fuller

Prayer: Please Jehovah Ghmolah (The God of Recompense) put a lock on my lips when filth is about to be spewed from it and open it wide when sweet words of encouragement are about to flow from it. I deeply desire my speech to emulate Yours with whom have spoken so encouragingly to me. May I encourage others as You have me. I meekly request this in Your beautiful sons name who spoke so eloquently, like I deeply desire to, Jesus Christ. Amen

May the light of Christs love shine brightly in your heart today and every day

Who Need Your Help.

Do not hide from relatives who need your help. Isaiah 58:7 New Living Translation

This is something that needs to be done so much in todays society.

In the winter time instead of playing sports or playing video games go over and shovel grannies sidewalk and driveway for her in the winter. Cut her grass for her in the summer, rake the leaves for her in the fall. Take her grocery shopping, help with the housework.

If you see someone has problems with money, especially the younger ones, help them make a budget.

If a relative is having homework problems spend time with them and help them.

If someone is having personal problems sit and listen to them and share your experiences with them to help them.

Now that does not give them carte blanche to abuse you like continuously free loading off of you because they spend their money foolishly or refuse to get a job because they are lazy. That is hurting them and preventing them from maturing.

And, being a Christian, everyone that is a Christian is a member of the family.

It is the Christian duty (which is an act of love) to help those who are in need of help (and not waste time nor resources on those who are too lazy to help themselves). Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL (God, the Most Able) bless me to be able to distinguish between those in need and those who are leeches. Please bless me with the time, resources and skill to help those in need to not only alleviate their needs but to bring them ever closer to You. I virtuously implore You in the name of He who has enabled me to receive the keys to Heavens Gate Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Tell It and Then Walk Away

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27 New International Version.

The interesting thing about this story is that Jesus told a simple and easy to understand parable so everybody could understand what He was saying. At the end of it He just got up and walked away. I believe He did this to give the people time to digest what He was saying.

Now that was not the end of it though.

After His resurrection when His disciples came sharing His story the people were more receptive to accepting it.

SHARE THE WORD

So too it is with us

When we share the story with people of Jesus why not make it as simple as possible for them to understand the message and then just leave them alone to think about it?

Do not try to get them to accept Jesus right then and there. That is a huge mistake too many Christians make. Do not use pressure tactics. Jesus never did, why should you?

If they are receptive, the Holy Spirit will guide them to where they can learn more. Maybe it will be you, maybe someone else.

If they are not receptive to Jesus’ story they will not listen anyway and it is a waste of both your time and usually ends up with nothing but frustration on both parties’ behalf.

I have met too many people that just at the mention of Jesus’ name it is an instant turn off because of the pressure tactics that was tried on them previously.

Not only that but maybe they are not ready to accept Jesus just then.

Prayer: Please Jesus Pryyand (Jesus my friend) guide me on how to share you with others and the best time to just walk away. I sincerely ask this in Your loving name. Amen

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ precious love bless you today and every day.

How are You Using Your Talents?

SHARING

“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.  To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.  The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.  But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.                                                                                                                      “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’                                                                                                                                                                                           “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’                                                                                        “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’                                         “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’                                                                                                     “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.                                                                                                                “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:14-30 New King James Version

Jehovah has blessed each of us with a talent to be used in His Kingdom work. Now whether you use them for His service or whether you use them for your own is your choice.

So we will say Jehovah has blessed you with awesome cinema making talents.

How are you going to use them?

Are you going to use them to make pornos which creates lust of the flesh in men and womens hearts (and yes women watch porn) or are you going to use them to make movies which create a desire for Christ in the lost worlds hearts?

Beware.

You will be held accountable for how you are using those talents.

You may be blessed with more than one talent.

For me I was blessed with being a teacher but also a mentor (there is a difference between teacher and mentor. A teacher you teach and a mentor you lead the way. A teacher is for a short time while mentoring can last years. A teacher teaches many in one class but a mentor teaches one on one).

And Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding, to know how to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, shall do according to all that the Lord has commanded. Exodus 36:1 New King James Version

Now Jehovah has blessed you with a skill. Will you give Him credit for it or will you foolishly believe that that came from your own skill.

So think f it like this. You train someone to become an Olympic gold swimmer. When interviewed they take all the credit and not even mention your name.

Will you not feel insulted?

How much more will Jehovah feel insulted because you refuse to honour Him with your talents in His kingdom or refusing to give a tenth of your wages?

Yes, Jesus is our Saviour, as such that means we are His servants. Servants do not tell the King how, when or where they will serve, they just obey their Kings commands. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Bara  (The Lord God our Creator) instill in me a desire and knowledge to use opportunities You present before me both big and small to fulfill Your predestined purpose for my life. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who was obedient all the way to the cross to fulfill His predestined purpose Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Stubbornness Is Stupidness.

OBEDIANCE

“A man who refuses to admit his mistakes can never be successful. But if he confesses and forsakes them, he gets another chance.” Proverbs 28:13

One thing I have learned is that stubbornness and stupidness goes hand in hand.

These people are very seldom successful in life because they refuse to listen and refuse to admit they are wrong. Oh yes we may see successful people who are rich today, but in the end they lose it all because they refuse to accept listening to others. They believe they are the smartest while being the stupidest.

I have seen many people continue to make the same stupid mistakes over and over again. I have to wonder what planet they are from.

For example I have tried to explain to some people to eat before going shopping, try to figure out how much they need to spend and take just a little bit more just in case. Then I see them going to the store hungry, buying a lot of junk food and going way over budget and then cry because they are short money at the end of the month.

On the other hand I have seen humble people who are willing to listen, apologize when they make mistakes and master a skill very quickly.

Personally I find the best way to learn is to make a lot of mistakes because then you learn how to become better by learning to fix the mistakes.

There is no middle ground with Jehovah. Obedience brings blessings while disobedience brings curses. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) create in me an obedient heart such as was and is in Your loving son Jesus. I sincerely ask this in His obedient name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
