A Prayer for Trust

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 2 Corinthians 9:8 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Oh my caring God please bless me with ample patience to deal with an obstinate one in my care.

Please bless me with abundant wisdom to know how to provide the proper care while not allowing for manipulation, conniving nor deceiving to enslave me. To know when it is best to walk away from the tormentor to maintain my sanity.

Please bless me with a sanctuary away from the abusive one so we can commune together in peace.

Please bless me with plentiful strength to endure the constant nit picking and complaining that is just being used to get attention.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Wishing you a house full of sunshine, hearts full of cheer and love that grows deeper each day of the year. Welsh blessing

I am Grateful That There Was Today

Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. Psalm 95:2 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

I am grateful that the Lord held off the bad storm so that I could take mom out for her birthday at a special restaurant.

I am grateful that there was two families at the restaurant whose children were very well behaved and a delight to watch and talk with (well except the baby, she could not talk ha ha).

I an grateful that the church parking lot was not an ice rink today (Sunday), mom has walking disabilities.

I am grateful that the Lord protected me as we experienced 80 mile an hour winds and none of the trees fell on our Sanctuary (the meeting place between our Heavenly Beloved and me, that is where I sleep in great peace) and there was no blizzard as predicted (it seemed to happen all around us but not in our area) .

I am grateful that the Lord guided me to a web site where adult coloring pages can be downloaded (they are downloaded and printed off for mom and for seniors at a local seniors home.

Be grateful for the simple blessings and they add up to a great big daily one. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah JIREH (God who supplies) with these wonderful gifts to share with others. I exalt You in the name of Your most wonderful gift Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

P.S. This was written during the winter and I am just getting around to publishing it now.

It Helps to Remember

VOICE OF GOD

When the friendship and counsel of God were over my tent. Job 29:4 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

When trouble comes where ya gonna go?

For me it is either in my sanctuary (a winterized tent or in Gods Cathedral (nature) which His Divine Word (the Bible).

It is in these quiet places that I pour my heart out to my beloved big daddy. He patiently listens and then either speaks directly to me in a soft reassuring gentle voice or we have a little Bible study. I cherish both.

It is advisable to bring along a recording device to record what has been said by His immaculate wise voice to be contemplated upon later so that His advice can be more deeply digested and then put into action.

These two places are perfect because it is in the quiet places that we can hear His voice all the more clearer and we can talk all the more intimate with Him.

“On days when life is difficult and I feel overwhelmed, as I do fairly often, it helps to remember in my prayers that all God requires of me is to trust Him and be His friend. I find I can do that.” — Bruce Larson

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shammah ( The Lord is Present) for always being present and available when I so desperately need to talk with You, my closest confident. Thank you that Your gentle words remind me to always trust You completely because You have everything under control. I praise You in the name of He who had everything under control while with His disciples no matter how much the storm raged Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

Like a Rose Blooming In.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold. Psalm 18:2 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

One time while camping in the desert the winds picked up so bad I had to cup my hands over my face or else I would have been smothered to death.

That is what it is like sometimes when the world comes howling at us with TV, movies, music and society all screaming that sin is good and righteousness is foolishness.

That is when we need the Holy Spirit to come and wrap Himself around us and assure us we are walking the right walk.

In the morning there was huge red butes that when the sun rose they looked like giant fingers slowly moving to clamp onto my and squeeze me to death (or so it seemed).

So too can it seem as if there are pressures from the world to conform to their wickedness or they will destroy us in rage.

That is when we need the Holy Spirit to come plants the sweetness of Christs love for us with in our hearts and bloom like the most beautiful flower with in us.

One time while hiking along a trail by the ocean I decided to climb into a cave in a huge rock. Little did I realize that the high tide came all half way up that rock. That night a storm broke out and the waves reached the lip of the cave but never entered in.

So too is Christ there for us to take shelter in during the storms in our lives.

You will never find Jesus so precious as when the world is one vast howling wilderness. Then he is like a rose blooming in the midst of the desolation, a rock rising above the storm.” — Robert Murray M’Cheyne

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Sel’i (The Lord is my Rock) for blessing me with Your firm foundation and sanctuary during the raging storms in my life. Thank you that through this my faith and gratitude for You has blossomed into a beautiful creation of which You are well pleased. I praise You in the name of the most beautiful gardener of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
