Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48 New King James Version
Perfect: faithfully reproducing the original .merriam-webster dictionary
Perfection does not indicate we have no faults or it would be impossible to be perfect.
Perfect does mean that we are to emulate our Heavenly Father in love. Just as He loves us, so too are we to imitate Him and love others.
We of our selves cannot accomplish this.
It is only when we surrender our wills to the Holy Spirit will He bless us with the knowledge, will and means to accomplish this divine act.
Prayer: I submit my whole being holy Jehovah Elohim (the Eternal Creator) to the wise molder of Your children, the Holy Spirit to accomplish Your will be done in my life. I make this pledge in the name of He who submitted to Your will all the
way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
