A Shelter For

DELIVERANCE COMES FROM THE LORD

The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:9-10 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation

The longer we walk with Christ the more we are assured that He will never leave us nor forsake us no matter what the situation.

Jesus cares, Jesus is always there. Joseph a son of Jehovah

That is the rock that has been my firm foundation during the most severe hurricanes that has come crashing into my life.

Now, when we see those whose faith is weak we are to share these experiences with them to strengthen and encourage them.

Prayer: Please Holy Spirit Immeku (The Lord Is With You) Judges 6:12 remind me of how You walked with me through oh so many trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares and dangers in the past so that I will have complete confidence in you whenever they come upon me in the future. Because this will cause my heart to sing for joy knowing you are there, you care and you have total control over the situation.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I Will Most Certainly Not

be encouraged

The Lord also will be a refuge and a stronghold for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble Psalm 9:9 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There are times in everyones lives when they are attacked on all sides. It literally feels as if their life is going to Hell in a hand cart.

Those in the world go to councillors that give them human advice which is inferior to the Supreme Adviser the wise man or woman runs to.

His name is The Holy Spirit.

He is sent by the Father through Christ when we call upon Jehovah for advice, need encouragement or strength or healing. When we go to Him it is like a safe warm secure house while the storm is raging outside. Even though the winds howl and scream their biting coldness cannot penetrate the solid bricks of the house. Even though the rain unmercifully pounds the bricks, those inside are safe from their fury.

When a Christian comes a knocking at Christs house during their storm, Jesus loves us and cares for us and about us. He will never refuse to open the door to His house and bid you to come in.

The one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me].John 6:37 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Abba (God our Father) for blessing me with the door always being open for this child of Yours to enter. It is there where we find comfort, security, peace, love, joy and wisdom. Oh how I love to come into Your marvellous house my Beloved. I look forward to the time when I shall never leave it. I praise You in the name of He who shall greet me at the door of Your house, my big brother, Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

You will Keep in Perfect

You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].Isaiah 26:3 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

There is perfection in life. It can only be found in one place and that is in the arms of Jehovah. Joseph a son of Jehovah

There have been many times when I wanted to quit the assignment Jehovah had placed upon me to do for Him. It was only when, in refuge of prayer and communion with Him, that He instilled upon me to stay focused on Him and the strength that He blesses me with that the task was completed with gusto.

As well there is a completely enveloping of my entire being with peace.

Satan will always come to discourage us but when we stay steadfast both in our duty (which is an act of love) and Jehovahs character that we will succeed. It is when we take hold of Him and trust Him that we can do the impossible.

Jehovah will not give us work to do that He will not abundantly supply the tools and guidance to excel at the task until its completion. Joseph a son of Jehovah

In reflection afterword we are filled with awe, love and respect for Him.

When we place our hearts in the hands of Jesus He signs an unbreakable treaty of peace in our hearts which no other can compare. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) for blessing me with Your cherished Divine peace, strength and focus to complete every task You lay out before me with great gusto. I exalt Thee in the name of He who completed Your assigned task all the way to the cross with strength, peace and focus Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Like a Rose Blooming In.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold. Psalm 18:2 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

One time while camping in the desert the winds picked up so bad I had to cup my hands over my face or else I would have been smothered to death.

That is what it is like sometimes when the world comes howling at us with TV, movies, music and society all screaming that sin is good and righteousness is foolishness.

That is when we need the Holy Spirit to come and wrap Himself around us and assure us we are walking the right walk.

In the morning there was huge red butes that when the sun rose they looked like giant fingers slowly moving to clamp onto my and squeeze me to death (or so it seemed).

So too can it seem as if there are pressures from the world to conform to their wickedness or they will destroy us in rage.

That is when we need the Holy Spirit to come plants the sweetness of Christs love for us with in our hearts and bloom like the most beautiful flower with in us.

One time while hiking along a trail by the ocean I decided to climb into a cave in a huge rock. Little did I realize that the high tide came all half way up that rock. That night a storm broke out and the waves reached the lip of the cave but never entered in.

So too is Christ there for us to take shelter in during the storms in our lives.

You will never find Jesus so precious as when the world is one vast howling wilderness. Then he is like a rose blooming in the midst of the desolation, a rock rising above the storm.” — Robert Murray M’Cheyne

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Sel’i (The Lord is my Rock) for blessing me with Your firm foundation and sanctuary during the raging storms in my life. Thank you that through this my faith and gratitude for You has blossomed into a beautiful creation of which You are well pleased. I praise You in the name of the most beautiful gardener of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Let a Man Meet A.

Let a man meet a[ferocious] bear robbed of her cubs Rather than the [angry, narcissistic] fool in his folly. Proverbs 17:12 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Folly is described as: the state or quality of being foolish; lack of understanding or sense, a foolish action, practice and a costly and foolish undertaking. Another word for foolish is stupid.

A narcissist is described as  tending to derive gratification from admiration of one’s own physical or mental attributes.

Speaking from personal experience a narcissist does not love anybody or anything as much as they love themselves. They are always bragging about themselves and thrive on being the constant center of attention. They are very shallow and easily offended. When offended they become very cruel and constantly imagine the wicked manner in which the offender will pay with shame and humiliation. They take it to the extreme.

Beware of them.

Yes they can be dangerous, although most times they are not.

They have no sympathy for their victims and delight in watching them suffer. Whenever I encounter one and they share with me their wicked schemes I merely point out to them the folly of it in the consequences they will suffer far outweigh the satisfaction they will receive and I will have no part of it.

If I am the one they intend upon inflicting with their foolish perverted revenge I explain to them  with confidence and strength that there is a God in Heaven and He passes sentence that the wicked shall be punished seven times seven for their wickedness.

It shocks them. It is a coin toss how they will react.

Sometimes they will stay away in fear and sometimes they foolishly pursue their evil schemes. Yes sometimes they succeed but in the end it costs them far more than they gain when they suffer Jehovahs harsh mighty hand of justice.

Narcissist’s pretend to be strong but really are weak, stand up to them or they will bully you.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to be by your side and no narcissist can stand up to Him. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Machsi  (The Lord is my Refuge) for blessing me with the refuge of Your words and guidance to deal properly with all the narcissist’s that enter my life. I exalt You in the name of He who dealt harshest of all with these plagues upon society Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Cling to Him.

Trust and take refuge in the Lord! [Be confident in Him, cling to Him, rely on His word!] Psalm 115:9 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Have you ever been out hiking and are hit with a monster storm with little or no warning?

When I was hiking a trail in the west coast of Canada on a section that was one the shore of the ocean a huge storm hit with little warning. I barely had time to crawl into a cave atop this huge rock. All night the waves smashed against that rock but the water never reached more than the lip of the cave. If the waves had of come thundering in there I would have been crushed to death instantly. There was a feeling of peace and that everything was going to be alright. I did not know it then but that was the voice of the Holy Spirit comforting and assuring me. Consequently there was a blessed great sleep after a hard days hiking while the storm raged outside of that cave.

It is a lesson I pray shall never be forgotten.

So too it is when the storms of life come crashing in on us and it feels as if we are doomed for total destruction. No one can or will help us. Our money cannot help us. Our intelligence cannot help us.

Why is it then and only then that so many wait until then to call upon Jehovah for help?

We as Christians all go through that experience when we are babies but the more experience we have with our Beloved Father in Heaven the more we should confide in Him and have total trust in Him. I know I have and it has brought a lot of peace, wisdom and strength to face those storms. I cling to Him like a frightened child clings to an adult they love and trust and He never lets me down.

Whatever your heart clings to and confides in, that is really your God.” Martin Luther

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for always being faithful towards Your beloved child in every aspect of my life. I exalt You in the name of Your most faithful Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Where to Go When Trouble Comes.

HOLY SPIRIT ENCOURAGER

All who are oppressed may come to Him. He is a refuge for them in their time of troublePsalm 9:9  New King James Version

Have you ever had a jerk off for an employer? Have you ever been bullied at school or work? Have you ever had an abusive relative or been in an abusive relationship? Then you know what it feels like to be oppressed.

I personally have experienced them all. Whenever that occurred I cried my heart out to Jehovah. A feeling of serenity and peace enveloped me and gave me strength to carry on.

Now once the opportunity came to exit these horrours that opportunity was taken.

Sometimes afterward it took Christian counseling to recover from it.

That was another blessing because it helped me realize how much I at times was a passive participant and how to handle abusive souls.

My life is much better now because of it. Through it all Jehovah was there.

Jehovah loves you, Jehovah cares. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (Jehovah is faithful) for always being faithful to comfort, encourage and strengthen me in my times of oppression. I extol You in the name of he who You strengthened in His time of oppression during His time of trial Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
