A Pretty Brave Request.

 Search me, O God, and know my heart;  test me and know my anxious thoughts.
Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Psalm 139:23-24 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

I do not know about you but I have no desire for Jehovah to test me. That is a pretty brave request. I have gone through testing and it ain’t fun.

As well, no matter how strong of a Christian you think you are, you are still weak.

Come to think about it, that is a great reason to ask to be tested, to find out any area’s of weakness that needs work on and to not become overconfident.

Jehovah already knows our anxious thoughts and knows how to relieve them, usually for me it is by opening my understanding of Bible verses that encourage and strengthen me.

Sometimes we become complacent in our lives and unknowingly are doing things that are offensive unto Jesus.

We need the Holy Spirit to convict us of these ( do not worry, He is a good, kind and gentle teacher. There is no yelling or screaming. However, when we are obstinate, He will use strong manner to convince us to turn from these destructive habits).

Unlike the world, which is travelling down the Highway to Hell, Christ has an individual road for us to travel the we alone are to travel to our Heavenly Home. That is why we need the guidance of the best path finder, The Holy Spirit. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireth (Genesis 22:14 The LORD Shall Provide) bless me with the Holy Spirit to always provide help to me to remain on the Back Road to Heaven You have chosen no matter how hot and dusty and bumpy it is. I know the ultimate destination is worth it.             

I honestly request this in the name of He who followed the most difficult road, the one that led to Calvary, for me, Jesus Christ. Amen

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father. It Hurts Two Very Important Ones.

 Repent [change your inner self your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] and believe [with a deep, abiding trust]in the good news[regarding salvation].” Mark 1:15 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

When you refuse to repent it hurts two very important ones. The first and most important one it hurts is Jehovah

Because you refuse to repent there is arrogance in your heart. Because Jehovah is love and you have arrogance in your heart, you separate yourself from Him. You are too arrogant to say you are sorry to Him so you are not forgiven That hurts Him tremendously.

The next one you hurt is yourself. The longer you refuse to repent the further you are getting away from your loving relationship with Jehovah and getting closer towards Hell, both in this life and in the eternal one.

Many times the offence you have committed involves someone else so you have hurt them and your relationship with them. So, many times there is a third party that you have hurt as well.

Repentance is the best medicine there is for your mental, physical and spiritual health. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Goelekh (Isaiah 49:26&60:16 The LORD Thy Redeemer) for blessing me with redemption whenever I repent of my sins. Thank you Holy Spirit for making me sensitive to my sins and teaching me the proper way in which to repent to the one I have offended. Thank you Jehovah for making it all possible in Your divine plans to redeem Your children. I praise You all in the name of He whose blood made it all possible, Jesus Christ. Amen

Three in One.

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:25 New Living Translation Bible

It is a bitterly cold day outside today and I had no intention of leaving the house, but, the Holy Spirit gently nagged me to go for my morning walk.

Before leaving I am grateful the Holy Spirit inspired me to get just the right cat photo’s and write cute inspirational birthday greeting for mom and the pastors wife (the have birthdays a few days apart) from the computer.

Today I am grateful the Holy Spirit nagged me to wear sunglasses even though it was cloudy outside. With the wind chill factor it was minus thirty. Without the sunglasses my eyes would have been injured in the hard, biting wind.

I am grateful the Holy Spirit had me go into the bulk store today because it was seniors discount day (that is not what I am grateful for) because when in there He suggested I buy white chocolate and licorice to make two different birthday cakes for mom.

I am grateful the computer at the computer store I went into to accepted the pdf format used to download Christian books for mom(sometimes they do, sometimes they do not).

 I am grateful that the store I went into to have the birthday photo cards printed off at had some good markdowns and it was the last day of the sale. All these store are in the same mall so I got three in one.

I am grateful that the Holy Spirit educated me in the proper manner in which to deal with the obnoxious neighbour. He reminded me of how to deal with them in the workplace and in the family. That method is being carried over with the neighbour.

I love the unique way in which Jehovah guides me every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with the Holy Spirits guidance in the mundane events in my life as well as the monumental ones. They are all equally important to You and equally important to us to obey if we desire to receive Your blessings. I praise You in the name of He who was obedient unto You all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.
